3|Addison
CHAPTER 3
A/N: I know this needs editing already and that there are typos so I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention it to me in the comments. I'm just reading the same comments over again.

Life in San Francisco was different.
I had been here for a few days and now I had to enroll into high school. Lucky me.
"Hurry up Addison I don't want you making me late." I looked at Greyson - my younger brother and just rolled my eyes. "You better hurry up," he said before walking away from my room. He was only a year younger than me but he acted like he was older.
"Addie!" My dad yelled and I sighed, not having the energy to respond.
To say that I was nervous would be an understatement. I would have never imagined myself to be the new girl and here I was - the new girl.
"Addie!"
"I'm coming!" I yelled, seen as he would just keep shouting my name. Inspecting my outfit one last time, I walked downstairs.
My mother made pancakes and if my stomach wasn't already preoccupied with nerves I would have loved it.
I took my seat beside Greyson who looked like he was very excited for today. How could he even be excited?
That was completely beyond me.
"You're up late," my mother commented and I just shrugged my shoulders.
"Adrianna's up even later," I mumbled and my dad gave me a disapproving look. Adrianna was my older sister. She was just a year older than me and we were both pretty close. She was already starting college here so the move didn't affect her. That was one big coincidence if you asked me but then again no one did.
"Are you nervous?" Greyson mocked and I rolled my eyes at him.
"No, why would I be?" I snapped.
"You just look it," he said as he innocently shrugged his shoulders. I rolled my eyes at him as I brushed my hands my hair. I took a deep breath and sipped my coffee.
I just wanted to get out of here.
*****
It was lunch and the school was not like my old one at all.
I missed my old one.
There was so much bullying here too. And I thought my old school was bad. There was no way I could even compare the two.
It was the stereotypical school that you usually saw in movies. Kids usually got shoved into lockers, the quiet ones got picked on and a bunch of other stuff happened that I never thought existed.
Just like every high school, there were the usual groups: the popular group, the cheerleaders, the wannabees, the nerds, the weird kids, the geeks and just the outsiders.
I thought I would be an outsider.
It was lunch and the cafeteria was full of those groups that people had gotten into years ago. I just wanted to go back out because I was not going to fit in here, so there was no point trying.
It felt like Mean Girls and all I wanted to do was to eat in the bathroom. I took a deep breath and sat a small table on my own and got my phone out. I looked at my pictures and my whole body tensed when I saw a picture of Chase. He had gotten a hair cut but his black hair was still smooth. His blue eyes were inviting, just like they always were.
"Hello there newbie." I hit the power button as I looked up to see a girl in front of me. She had her hands on her hips and had her long brown hair flowing down her shoulders. She had light freckled over her face but it suited her. I had seen her through the halls and she was a bitch to some of the students. From what I had gathered she was popular but only stuck to one girl. They were in most of my classes and it was weird that they weren't with one another now.
"Hi."
"I'm Isabella," she introduced and I nodded my head. "This is the part where you introduce yourself," she sarcastically said and I just scoffed.
"I was actually just leaving," I replied and she grabbed my hand.
"Do you not want to make friends?" she mocked and I raised my eyebrows at her.
"I haven't come here looking for friends." Why would I even want friends? I only had a year here and if I kept my head down and focused on my grades then I would be out of here.
"Touché," she said as she shrugged her shoulders. "Introduce yourself hoe." I scoffed, not knowing whether to feel entertained or offended.
"I'm Addison," I replied and she nodded her head.
"Okay we'll do the whole introduction shit later, you need to meet Luciana." I didn't even get a say as she just grabbed my hand and pulled me to a table at the back.
There was the same girl that Isabella was always with. She had blonde hair and dark brown eyes. She was sitting by the table with her eyes glued to her phone.
I could tell just by looking at them that they were rebellious.
"Lucy!" She looked up at Isabella and then looked at me.
"Seriously Bella I leave you for one second and you go and replace me?" I just stayed quiet, feeling even more out of place.
"Don't call me that, I'm not a vampire," Isabella snapped and I laughed at her comment.
"You're fucking crazy," I said looking at Isabella who gasped loudly. Luciana chuckled as she put her phone into her pocket.
"Yeah she is," she replied and Isabella rolled her eyes.
"I'm actually regretting going to you," Isabella said and I rolled my eyes at her.
"Bite me."
"Wow," Luciana commented. "A new girl who isn't afraid of you Bella," she sneered causing Isabella to glare at her.
Isabella ignored her and said "let's go to Fran Bean." Luciana nodded her head in agreement and they both looked at me.
"What's that?"
"It's a cafe that we usually go to and just chill," Luciana explained and I nodded my head.
Isabella linked her arm with mine before dragging me out of the building.
"I can walk you know," I mocked. She rolled her eyes at me and just faked a sarcastic laugh.
She got into the driver's seat and Luciana got into the passenger seat. I sighed loudly before getting into the back seat.
The car ride was silent and before I knew it, we were at the cafe. It wasn't that far from the school and I was probably going to end up coming here a lot.
Isabella kept on asking me questions but I wasn't in the mood to answer. I answered with short responses as I ate my food. My mind still hadn't accepted the fact that I was in San Francisco and I was missing my friends.
"Are you usually this talkative?" Luciana sarcastically said and Isabella laughed.
I sighed as I looked at them both. I probably looked depressed but I didn't really care. "I'm just trying to get used to this new environment, don't expect me to get all chatty," I said quietly.
"Hm," Isabella mumbled accepting my answer.
"So are you dating someone?" Luciana asked. "Seen as you are smoking you probably are." I smirked at her comment and she pointed to my smirk. "She totally is." Isabella smiled as she looked at me.
"Yep, I have a boyfriend," I replied briefly. I didn't want to get into details because then that would just upset me.
"Were you popular?" Luciana asked.
"Yep." I sipped my coke, getting ready for their questions.
"Cheerleader?" She guessed.
"Head cheerleader," I replied with a smug look on my face and they both smirked.
"See, I wouldn't just pick a random person to hang out with us," Isabella said and I rolled my eyes at her.
"So what's the deal with you two?" I asked and they both looked at me. "I mean you're both popular but you don't get along with the other popular kids."
"Can we explain this another time?" Isabella asked and I groaned.
"No, do it now-"
"We have plenty of time to go into that shit, we'll do it later," Luciana said and I rolled my eyes. I could see why these two were friends. They were exactly like one another. They both had foul mouths too.
I frowned and Luciana rolled her eyes at me. "We'll explain it, seriously don't give us that look." I gave up and just stayed silent. I was just curious and I knew that if they didn't tell me soon I would be asking again.
I leaned my back in my seat as my mind slipped back to Boston. I wondered how school was going back there.
"Let's ditch school."
I looked at Isabella like she was crazy. "It's my first day, I can't ditch," I replied and they both started laughing.
"We have a little nerd on our hands," Luciana mocked and I rolled my eyes at her. I wasn't a nerd, I just didn't want to miss my first day of school because that would look bad.
"Fine I'll ditch," I muttered. "But you're giving me a lift home," I said, looking at Isabella who shrugged her shoulders like she didn't care.
"Whatever hoe." I rolled my eyes at her. It was like that was my nickname from her.
I sent a text to my parents telling them I would get a ride from a friend. I left out the part where I was ditching school obviously because I didn't want a lecture.
Maybe this place would be tolerable with these two by my side.
