27|Addison
CHAPTER 27
"You okay?" Adrianna walked into my room and I rolled my eyes.
I was sitting on my bed with my duvet over me and my phone in my hand. I was texting Luciana who was bothering me about the stupid dance. I decided I wasn't going to go even though it was last minute but I didn't care.
There's a party tonight, we could all just go there. –L
No Shane has his date. –A
So? He won't stay if his friends aren't there and Ron and Bels will be fine with it. Just say yes for crying out loud. –L
"You know I'm talking to you." I felt my bed dip and Adrianna sat down beside me, leaning her back against the head board and getting under the covers with me.
"What do you want?" I asked, looking at her and she rolled her eyes at me.
"Dad is going to go nuts when he sees your hair," she replied and I shrugged my shoulders.
"So?"
"I get it, you're pissed that Lyn and her family are here but you can't exactly stay here locked up in your room all day."
"Why is she even here?" I asked as I looked at her and she took a deep breath. "Why now?"
"She thought it was about time she visited," she replied and rolled my eyes at her.
She draped her arm over my shoulder and I sighed. "Don't get upset Ads, she isn't just going to leave."
"Well I really want her to."
"You don't mean that Addison," she replied and I rolled my eyes at her.
"Who's in the house?" I asked quietly.
"Grey, Tabitha, Adelyn and her family and that's it. Mom and dad went out," she added and sighed in relief. I couldn't be bothered to put up with my parents because I knew they would just tell me off for dying my hair, especially my dad.
"I'm not going to school," I told her and she rolled her eyes.
"So you are just going to stay in the same house as the sister you hate?" she sarcastically said and I groaned because I forgot that.
"I'm going out then."
"What are you going to do for like seven hours then?"
"I don't know," I mumbled.
"I'm not going to college, we can just do something together," she said as she tucked loose strands of my hair behind my ear and nodded my head.
"What do we do?"
"We could take Betty for a walk," she suggested.
Betty was the family dog but she was the person who looked after her the most so it should probably be called her dog.
"Seen as I have nothing better to do, fine."
She chuckled and pulled away from me. "Hurry up, eat your breakfast, get dressed and meet me in the living room."
I rolled my eyes and watched her leave the room.
Sighing, I walked to my bathroom and took a shower.
After brushing my teeth and fixing my hair, I got dressed in a red shirt and black shorts before brushing hair and allowing it to hang loosely over my shoulders.
When I went downstairs into the kitchen, I saw Greyson talking to Blair who was Adelyn's husband.
"Grey you should be in school," I said emotionlessly and they both looked at me.
"Using that logic then, so should you."
"Shut up Grey I can do whatever I want."
"So can I."
"I'm older than you and I'm telling you to get your stupid ass to school."
"Then the same goes for you," Blair replied.
"I'm sorry this was a sibling conversation," I sarcastically said and Adrianna rolled her eyes as she stood beside me.
"Get to school now Grey," she said and I sighed in relief.
"Tell her to go too."
"Greyson seriously," she warned as she ran her hands through her black hair and he rolled his eyes before getting up and calling Tabitha's name.
"The way you just treated your brother wasn't fair," Blair said, looking at both of us.
"No one even asked you," I retorted and Adrianna looked at me, silently telling me to shut up.
I just walked away from her and decided to make my coffee.
"Grey needs to learn to listen to us," Adrianna replied and I definitely agreed with her because that was right.
Greyson was so uptight sometimes and then we ended up getting the blame whenever something happened.
Christopher walked inside the room and stood next to Blair – his dad.
"Daddy, I'm hungry," he said and Blair sat him down on his lap.
"Ads can make him something," Adriana said and I raised my eyebrows at her, wondering if she was being serious.
"I like cereal," Christopher said and it was weird to hear him talking because the last time I saw him, he was a baby.
Sighing, I grabbed a bowl and started making him cereal before placing it in front of him.
"Thank you," he replied and I just smiled at him.
"You're welcome."
Adrianna was sitting beside Blair and they were chatting.
She was annoying too, I mentally noted to myself and I walked out of the room.
I bumped into Adelyn who had her black hair into a bun. "Hey," she said and I didn't say anything. "You can't ignore me forever."
"How long are you staying?" I asked and she shrugged her shoulders.
"I haven't decided yet," she replied ad I rolled my eyes at her. "Nice hair colour."
"I don't want your compliments," I replied ad she scoffed, rolling her eyes at me.
"Talk to me when you actually grow up Ads," she said before walking away from me and I just rolled my eyes at her.
Why did all of my siblings have to be so annoying?
"You haven't had breakfast," Adrianna said as she stood in front of me and I shrugged my shoulders.
"So? It's not a big deal, I can just get something on the way." She rolled her eyes at my comment and frowned.
"No, have something now-"
"It isn't a big deal," I insisted and she didn't as anything. "Seriously I'll just grab something on the way, now come on."
She sighed in defeat and nodded her head as she put the lead on Betty before leaving the house with me.
"How's everything going with you and Chase?" she asked and I shrugged my shoulders as we started walking.
"I don't know," I mumbled.
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"It's going a little weird, I'm not going to lie about that." She smiled and linked her arm with mine.
"He loves you," she said and I didn't say anything.
I knew that he loved me but surely if you loved someone then you would always make time for them right? Only Chase wasn't doing that anymore. He would always tell me he was busy.
I was actually getting sick of it and I didn't even care anymore.
"Can we stop talking about Chase and talk about the new guy in your life?" I asked and she narrowed he eyes at me.
"How do you know about that?"
"Grey was talking about it," I replied, shrugging my shoulders and she rolled her eyes.
"That idiot."
"How come he met him and I haven't? I'm your sister and we're like besties, Grey is just," I didn't finish off my sentence and she chuckled shaking her head at me.
"He met him by accident, trust me. His name is Jason and you'll meet him soon okay?" I sighed, nodding my head.
She draped her arm over my shoulder and looked at me as we carried on walking.
*****
"Hey," Luciana said as she walked to me.
I walked into the party seen as she messaged me the address.
"You ditched school!" I rolled my eyes and she was clearly getting drunk.
"How many drinks have you had?" I asked and bit my lower lip.
"Just a few," she slurred as she wrapped her arm over my waist and I returned the embrace.
"Yeah right Luce."
"Whatever," she mumbled and I took the drink from her hand and sipped it.
"Oh God that's freaking strong," I mumbled and she smirked.
"When did you get here?" Isabella asked curiously. "And why didn't you come to school?"
"I didn't want to come," I replied and she rolled her eyes. "And I got here now."
"Shane is with his boy toy, let's go and sneak up on him," Luciana said and Isabella rolled her eyes at her.
"No you're not doing that," Veronica replied and I smirked.
"Okay," I sarcastically said and they both scoffed but Luciana and I walked away hand in hand.
We saw Shane dancing with a boy who looked familiar and I had seen him in school.
They looked happy together and I was glad that Shane had finally found someone because I knew he wanted that with someone.
"Let's go and dance!" Luciana said and I smirked
Valentines day was a lot more tolerable now that I had gotten here.
