12|Chase
CHAPTER 12
"Spence tell her to apologise," I said, referring to Addison.
She was annoyed yesterday and had gone up to her room and went to sleep. I had ended up hanging out with Greyson and Tabitha.
She was annoyed about Isabella and Spencer but I just thought she was over reacting. I had tried to calm her down but she ignored me.
"I don't even care," Spencer replied.
"Spence."
"No I really don't care Chase." She left the living room and I looked at the doorway to see Addison. I could see just by her facial expression that she heard the conversation.
"What?" she asked and I rolled my eyes.
"How can you even ask me that?"
"I just did."
I folded my arms across my chest and shook my head. "You're being unreasonable. Yes you're annoyed that they both hooked up but if you keep acting like this then you are going to make both of them hate you."
"I didn't ask you for your opinion."
"Addie why are you acting like this?"
"My best friend hooks up with a typical player," she replied in a bored tone. "Spencer never hooks up with people and she just did that with Isabella who I see every day."
I understood her reasoning a bit more but I still thought she was over reacting. If they liked one another then surely they could be together. I doubted they would because they wouldn't do a long distance relationship.
"I need to go and pack," I said as I stood up and she bit her lower lip. I still didn't know if she was going to come to Boston with us. "Are you going to pack too?"
I really hoped she would say yes.
"I haven't spoken to my parents yet." Her parents - Peter and Josephina were amazing parents and they always gave Addison whatever she wanted so if she would have asked earlier, they would have said yes.
"Addison, we leave tonight," I retorted and she ran her hands through her hair.
She stood up and walked into the kitchen where her parents were. "Can I go to Boston?"
One thing I loved about Addison was that she always got straight to the point, no matter who she was talking to.
"No," her dad instantly replied.
"Why not?"
"You have school Addison," her dad replied.
"It's just for one day."
"And how are you going to pay for this?" I didn't blame her mother for asking that. Addison folded her arms across her chest and looked at me before looking at both of her parents.
"I thought I could take the jet."
"No," her dad instantly said.
"It's not fair, all i want to do is go and visit the rest of my friends even if it is for a minute. It's your fault I had to move away, you had to be selfish and accept this stupid job. I'm sorry but what is it that you even do?" she mocked and they gasped.
Peter clenched his jaw before walking out and Adrianna sighed before following him.
"Go and apologise to your father," Josephina said.
"He deserves it," Addison argued and I clenched my jaw.
What the hell was wrong with her?
"Addison," she warned.
"Please, let me go to Boston. I promise I will do anything," she begged and I could tell this meant a lot because she never begged.
"Addie-"
"Please." Tears rolled down her cheeks and Josephina sighed before wrapping her as around her. "It's not fair. I didn't ask to move."
"I know Addison," Josephina said before kissing her forehead. "I can't just let you take the jet especially after the way you just spoke to your dad."
"But-"
"Addison let me finish," she said. "I'm okay with you going to Boston if you make things right with your dad." Addison groaned before pulling away. "And if he also agrees then you will have a set of rules to follow."
She nodded her head and wiped away her tears. "Don't cry baby," Josephina said and she sighed. "I know this hard for you but it will get better."
"When? When does it get better?" Addison snapped and her mother just wrapped her arms around her again.
"Go and talk to your dad if you want to be in Boston." She sighed and pulled away from her mother.
"Can you try and convince him too?" She asked hopefully and Josephina smiled before nodding her head.
"I love you," Addison told her.
"I love you too baby now go." Addison smiled before pulling me out of the kitchen.
"Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded her head.
"I'll meet you in my room okay?" I nodded and watched her walk inside her dad's word room while I walked up the stairs.
Spencer was in the guest room and I walked inside. "What are you doing?" I asked.
She was looking at her phone and said "texting Isabella."
"Don't tell Ads that."
I sat down beside her and she rolled her eyes. "I don't even care, she over reacts about everything. This has nothing to do with her. If I want to hook up with someone then surely I could be able to do that."
"She just needs time-"
"How long am I supposed to give her?" she questioned rudely and I sighed loudly.
"Not that long," I insisted and she rolled her eyes.
"She's being so annoying."
"I know," I replied quietly.
"Is she going to come with us?" she asked quietly and I shrugged my shoulders. "What? I spoke to her about this yesterday," she snapped and I shrugged my shoulders.
"She didn't even ask her parents, she asked them now."
"Why is she even bothering? It isn't like any of us want to see her."
"Don't say that Spencer," I said quietly as I crossed my legs and she rolled her eyes at me.
"No you always defend her and I get it, she is your girlfriend and you love her to bits but seriously she is in the wrong."
"I know that. It's not like I'm denying it," I replied and she rolled her eyes. "But you're being a bit hard on her Spence."
"Is she going to apologise without being told to?" she asked as she glared at me and I bit my lower lip.
"I don't know."
"She has to apologise."
"I'll try and get her to but this is Ads we are talking about and you know as much as I do Spencer that if she doesn't want to do something then it is hard to make her."
"We have a few hours till we leave, I'm going to Isabella's house to hang out with her. If she hasn't apologised by the time I come back then I don't want her coming."
She stood up and I palmed my forehead, thinking of what I was going to do.
I was screwed.
Surely she was bluffing right?
"No I am not bluffing," she snapped rudely.
"Spencer-"
"I mean it Chase," she said through gritted teeth before leaving, slamming the door on her way out.
It was an understatement to say that she was mad because she was fuming and I needed to fix it.
*****
I was waiting in Addison's room when she finally came in. "What did they say?" I asked quietly and she sighed loudly.
"He said he needs to talk to my mother before he decides." She walked over to me and sat down on her bed beside me. "What if he doesn't let me go? What happens next?"
"Don't think about that." I wrapped my arms around her and she sighed loudly.
"Have you seen Spencer?" she asked once she pulled away from me and I nodded my head.
"She said she wanted to go and hang out with Isabella."
"Is that a code for hooking up?" she sarcastically asked and I gave her a look that silently asked if she was being serious. "I just don't get it," she mumbled.
"Don't get what?"
"Why would she even go there? Again?"
"Don't Ads," I warned and she sighed loudly.
Before she could say anything her parents walked into her room after one knock.
I was just thankful we weren't doing anything.
"We've made a decision," Peter said and the tension in the room became unbearable.
Was Addison going to come with me or not?
