Zane's POV

"N-Nana.. I-I can't do this.." I teared up while pushing her away. "W-Why?! I-Is it me?! D-Do you not like me?! I-I could change.. For you!" She gripped onto my chest. "No! I-I love you already!" I tried to push her away but her claws started sinking into my chest. "Then what Zane!" She scowled.

I didn't know what to say, it was too overwhelming.. So. I did the last thing I would ever do..

I cried.

Kawaii~Chan, or Nana's, look softened as she removed her hands. "D-Did I hurt you..? I-I'm sorry.." She gave me a concerned look as I shook my head. "I just-.. Wanted you safe.." He wiped the tears away from his face with his sleeve. "Zane.. Who cares if I'm safe..?" I laughed while tearing up. "I do!" He sobbed. "All that matters are if we're together.." I smiled warmly while clutching his hands together.

I kissed him again, this time more gentle and warm. "Nana.. Why do you love me..?" He frowned. "I'm rude.. Lazy.. Selfish.." Zane's bottom lip quivered.

"No.. You're. Zane. A caring, kind, lovable person." I smiled. Zane's lips curved into a smile as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Now.. You have some explaining to do, Mister." I narrowed my brows with a pout. "Same goes to you, Nana." He grinned as he began explaining.

"...I-I was scared. They threatened to hurt you! I had to push you away, and the pressure soon got to me." He looked away as I cupped his cheek. "Zane.. It's okay, they won't hurt me." I smiled, "I'm able to protect myself. And I'll protect you.." I kissed his nose with a giggle as he smiled.
