Meeting with Casket

--Maxwell's POV--

I hate splitting myself up, but its the only way I have to keep and eye on both the twins at one. Ghost was almost in Mabel's cavern, while Toast was slightly farther away from Dipper, mostly because Dipper got the longer tunnel and was still moving. I sighed a bit on Mabel's side. She was really nice compared to other people I've met. To think they wanted to make her an Acahalla... She doesn't deserve my wrath. I switched my consciousness back to Dipper's side.

"You know... Your sister's really sweet, boy." I said as we entered a cavern identical to Mabel's side.

"Yeah..." He paused for a bit, "wait. WHERE'S MABEL?!" He began to search frantically, like she did when she saw he was missing. I wonder what's going through his head right now. "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HER?" He almost screamed.

"Calm it, kiddo. She's fine. She's been gone for a while now though. Funny, neither of you released until you were in these rooms..."

"When did you separate us?" He asked in a shaken voice.

I pretended to think about it, "Well, she wasn't looking where she was going while you entered the narrow part... So she ran into a wall and kinda fell on her butt. I led her down a different tunnel after that."

"H- how did I not notice?!" He asked himself, "I'm a terrible brother!" I just rolled my eyes.

"I've already had this conversation... I say you could be worse, and you-" He ran to the exit, "-do that apparently." I let the wall close up, and he began to pound his fists on it, "calm down, kid."

"NO! You... You took my sister, put her in a place who knows where and now your going to kill me with oxygen loss..." I groaned a bit.

"I jus' wanted to mess with the Ghost Hunters..." I mumbled.

"And where's our Grunkles?!"

"NOT HERE." I bellowed, "For Pete's sake, you're supposed to be SO SMART but you act SO EMOTIONAL AND STUPID." I rolled my eyes, "I prefer your sister."

"Well, what'd you do with her?"

"We just talked, but she's in a room just like this, designed to kill using suffocation." He looked at me, fearful, "Ghost is almost to her, though. She'll be fine." I assured him, "you on the other hand... I'm going to leave you alone until your 'saving Toast' comes in, mmkay? feel free to waste your oxygen with hyperventilating."

He just stared at me as I teleported back to Mabel's cave. I floated around the room a couple of times and began to do some pretend target practice. Her face was tinted blue from the lack of oxygen and though I didn't need to breathe, I felt like I was taking up a lot of space. I sat next to her.

"I thought he'd come a lot sooner, kiddo." I said to the passed out girl, "I didn't mean for you t' be in here for so long." I looked to the ceiling, "you know, your brother's kinda annoying. I jus' spent a while talking to him and I wanna shoot him so bad right now. Then again, I wan' to commit homicide on my cousin's family because my cousin replaced the entire Acachalla gang in one fell swoop... Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on them..." I heard what I was saying and stopped, "now look at what your doing to me, kid, your making me go soft! What's holding up Ghost?"

I looked to the cavern wall and heard a sudden explosion. clumps of rock fell through me in sudden clumps, and behind where the explosion took place was Ghost, strolling in, despite all the rock chunks and explosion residue. "I've got you now, Maxwell!" He said, triumphantly, and then paused when he saw I was sitting down next to an unconscious Mabel, "what's... going on here?"

"Nothin'. Just got bored." I grunted, pulling out my revolver. I snapped my fingers and sent Mabel back to the mouth of the cave, I spent the last five minutes alone in a cave, I was going to make it worth it. "Wanna dance with Maxwell Acachalla?"

"No, I actually came in here for Mabel..." he looked behind himself, "but this is the most interesting thing thats happened to me all day, so bring it on!" He pulled out his gun and there was a moment of tense suspense before we opened fire. I nicked his shoulder and lower leg, and he got a bullet through my hat, but neither of us did any real damage to each other until I got a full bullet in his leg. He cried out and collapsed instantly I circled him as he began to patch up his leg.

"The heck?" I said, confused, "Around this time you go all stabby and start killing people..."

"I don't know what your talking about. I've never killed anyone... Well... There was that one guy I thought was a ghost... But he thought he was a ghost too so..."

"Jimmy, you in there?" I tried asking the bloodthirsty killer through Johnny, "Hello?"I snapped my finger's in front of Ghost's eyes, and he lunched forward and tried to bite me.

"I don't know what your doing, but it won't work." he growled as he finished patching up his leg and he picked back up his gun, "I can still take you."

"No you can't." I told him, "but Casket can. Where the heck is he?" Johnny replied by shooting me in the chest.

"I don't know who this 'Casket' guy is, but I have nothing to do with him. See you next time you want to die." He stood up and began to limp out, while I just watched, bleeding out my chest.

It didn't take long for me to bleed to death. I prepared to respawn, but I woke up in a cage of triangles instead. I looked around. "Where am I?" I asked myself out loud.

"I dunno! Where am I?" A voice nearby responded. I turn around and saw I was stuck in a cage with Casket. "I just wanna stab StAb STAB! But Billy Bill won't let little ol' me out! I think he a Fraaaaidy cat. HAHHAHAHAA! So I've just ben StABhING! EVetHIng THinG I cAN! Like my TeetH!" He said, picking up a pile of shattered bone, "Deer tooth Toaster, and me, and Bill, and I just wanted to Stab ALLL of them! AND KEEP STABBING! AHAHAHAHHAHAA!" He threw his head back, laughing.

"Wow, you're crazier than usual..." I muttered to him while he kept laughing, "you said Bill put you here?"

"Yup yup yup yuppy yup yup! Billy Bill stuck me in this stinking ditch with nothing to dooo!" He laughed again, "Not only that, but he's hanging in Toastie's miiiinnnd! being all niiccce and cozy, though he says he's bored, HA! He's most likely scheming." He pulled his knife from his pocket, "now I'm outta teeth! BETTER GET MORE!" He lunched at me and began to stab me in the mouth, and it didn't take long for me to die. I respawned back in Mabel's cave, waking up like it was a nightmare. I thought back to it, shuddering at the memory of Casket. He was a maniac... I scoffed. Armageddon is going to be so entertaining with Bill in charge.

But what's he doing in Toast?

--Toast's POV--

I slipped out of the tunnel I had been squeezing myself through and stumbled into a slightly larger spot. At the end of the tunnel was was a giant rock that didn't look like it belonged there. It was smooth, but too big to move on my own. I slung off a backpack I had been carrying around and grabbed a frag grenade.

"MR. OR MS. PINES! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, MOVE AWAY FROM THIS ROCK!" I shouted before stepping back, tossing the grenade and diving for cover all at once. Once the dust cleared, I saw Dipper, looking slightly worried and delirious, but still okay. I sighed and stepped forward, "do you know where Ms. Mabel is?"

"No... But Maxwell said Ghost was almost to her," he said between gulps of air.

"When was that?"

"About five minutes ago."

"Okay. C'mon, Mr. Dipper, let's get out of here." I walked over and picked him up, ignoring Bill's slight hissy fit. (if this is what Ghost goes through, I apologize for ever thinking it'd be easy to live with this...) I walked a couple yards away from the room when Maxwell showed up in front of me. For some reason, he looked scared and happy at the same time.

"I have seen things..." He groaned, holding his head in a troubled way.

I looked to Maxwell, then to Dipper, then back to Maxwell, "Dipper, can you walk?"

"I want to pass out." He said, still really pale.

"Do that then." I almost commanded, "Maxwell did you trigger HIM?" I asked.

"Ya' mean Casket?" He scoffed, "heck, I tried. No one can say I didn't... But your partner seems to have a certain psycho missing from his head."

"Wait... What's he talking about?" Dipper mumbled, still slightly delirious.

"Nothing, go back to sleep... What do you mean he's missing Casket?" I was getting jumpy now, Maxwell could tell. He seemed as startled as I was though, so he didn't joke about it.

"Like Casket isn't in his head. He's in another dimensional plane, playing with deer teeth in a cage that Bill put him in. Tell Bill I said hi, by the way." Maxwell said, smiling.

"... Wait..." Dipper mumbled.

"SLEEP PLEASE, SIR!" I told him quickly, but it might've woke him up more.

"What... Toast are you contact with Bill?!" He accused, beginning to squirm from my arms. I set him down carefully, ignoring a prickling headache that I was getting.

"According to Casket, he's in Toast's head right now." Maxwell smirked wider, "like how Casket hides in Ghost."

"Toast, he's lying, right?" Dipper asked me, cautiously, ignoring the comment on Casket and Ghost, "I may not believe you if you say yes, but I want clarification."

"He's... Not lying..." I whispered, not meeting his eyes, "I... He... Threatened Johnny in a way that could destroy him... I didn't want anything to happen to him." I said to him.

"Prove it." He said, angrily.

I looked to him,"I don't really want to... He... Just came in this morning... I've never had him in control before..." It must've been strange for him, seeing a grown man wallow about their horrible decisions.

"I'll make sure things don't go out of hand, okay?" He assured me, "you can trust me, I just need to know. We have a way of stopping Bill, but I think Ghost would kill us if we did it and you didn't actually have him in your head."

"Wait, another thing." I said quickly.

"Okay. Go ahead."

"He said he has an ally that'll wipe my memory if I tell anyone... I'm not going to remember any of this, all the way up to Bill being in my mind... If you ever need to tell me you need proof." I told him quickly. Maxwell was just watching us, dully.

"Toast, don't you carry around a video camera from that time you tried to put a show on the history channel?" He asked, yawning.

"... That's why this is so heavy..." I slung off the bag and rummaged through it, "here you go, sir. A camera and some light" I said, handing it and my flashlight to him, "I'll try to force Bill into control."

"Alright. Thanks Toast... For telling me."

"I thought you didn't like me?" I asked him.

"Oh, I still don't like you." He said, "but this could save the universe, so..." I nodded and took a few steps back.

"Hello, Bill?" I said, out loud.

"Huh. You didn't even last a day. I expected more from you Toast." he said through my mouth. Dipper gasped to himself, but he kept the camera steady. Maxwell on the other hand was so startled, he shot up through the cave roof and began to watch, his head sticking from a wall.

"Well, I've told someone. Does that foil you plan at all?" I questioned, hopefully.

"Nah. Not much. You think I don't have a plan B? I HAVE A STEADFAST PLAN, AND A KILLER AT MY DISPOSAL. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, I WILL WIN." He said, and despite myself, I began to feel myself smile (well, it was him doing it, but it was my body, so I felt responsible). I cover my mouth with my hands and looked to Dipper apologetically. He kept rolling.

"Wow... You were telling the truth." He gaped

"I'm sorry, sir..." I said. "... Be carful. He has more support than you think." I closed my eyes and drifted back into my mind. Inside, my headache grew. Right between the eyes.

Box Thing.

Help me...
