BACKSTORY// Marinette grew up among the muggles for 6 years. Her parents wanted her to be a normal, regular Muggle girl until they believed it was time she should find out about her heritage. At age 6, she was introduced to the wonderful wizard of world. Her parents would gladly re-tell stories about their old wizarding days from when they went to school, filling her mind of the wonders of magic. By the time she turned 11, she was absolutely ready to leave and go to Hogwarts. After much discussion, and her mother loosing a bet, she was shipped off to Hogwarts after receiving her letter. The year before she started attending Hogwarts, her family adopted a young blonde boy from a wizarding family. At first glance you can tell these two aren't siblings, but that doesn't have the fact that they are as close as can be. The two were inseparable, but when school started and hey were sorted into different houses, they became a little distant during the terms. However, they love each other dearly and over He summer make sure to catch up.

PERSONALITY// Marinette's happy-go-lucky charm is the most noticeable feature about her. It is rare to ever see her down in the dumps, seeing as she always has a big smile on her face. She is an all around very happy girl and tries her best to stay optimistic. She is very studious, and she finds herself actually liking school. She struggles to study for tests and exams, but she learns real fast in the class. She's a quick thinker and she finds that learning certain things just comes easier to her than some others. She tries her best to please everyone around her, as she would hate for anyone to not like her. However, she can be very stubborn and naive, and can be a bit sensitive at times to. It takes a moment for her to warm up to people, hence why she seems a bit shy and quiet at first glance. She does however have anxiety, something that comes and goes throughout the year and is caused by stress. When she gets super stressed, her whole attitude changes and she can become a little harsh and sarcastic. You can often find her in her room, shunning herself away from others when this happens.
