despite brendon and josh denying tyler's worrisome questions, the youngest of the three knew that they were much more disappointed by their friends' reactions than they led on. he could tell from the way they were silent for the rest of lunch, picking away at their food instead of eating it. even throughout their study brendon was quiet, working diligently minus the few times he would check his phone.

tyler was concerned, feeling as though he was the problem. if it was just josh and brendon in a relationship they would've gotten a completely different reaction. but it wasn't just josh and brendon, and he was more than grateful to be their boyfriend.

so once they day ended and they all piled into brendon's car, tyler tried his best to get their minds off of what had happened during the day.

"we're going to my house, right?" he asked, reaching up to tap josh's shoulder, snaking their hands together once the yellow haired boy got the hint.

"yup," brendon agreed, turning into tyler's street with tense shoulders and pursed lips. the youngest of the three sighed, feeling defeated in his task of cheering up his boyfriends.

they helped tyler carry his belongings into the house and the brunette was quick to walk up to his room closing his door once they were all inside, pulling brendon and josh onto his bed with him and cuddling close to them.

"i'm sorry," tyler mumbled, not completely sure what he was sorry for but still feeling the need to apologize.

"for what?" josh questioned, stroking brendon's cheek as he spoke. he leaned in and pressed a short kiss to the raven haired boy's lips, tyler grinning as he watched on.

"i'm not really sure," tyler shrugged. "i know you guys are upset and i guess i just feel like it's my fault. if it were just the two of you in a relationship people wouldn't have been so rude."

"don't ever say that again," brendon said, eyebrows furrowed and lips turned into a frown. "i wouldn't have this relationship any other way. you make this complete and without you it wouldn't be the same."

"there's more love to go around with you in this relationship," josh chuckled and brought tyler's lips against his own, the kiss deep and full of passion. brendon blew raspberries onto tyler's neck and the boy squealed and giggled, trying to pry brendon from his neck. josh took the opportunity to do the same thing on his stomach, tyler wiggling around on his bed as laughter spilled past his chapped lips.

"stop, stop!" he exclaimed, trying to catch his breath. it soon became too much and his pleas of help turned from superficial to serious, his lungs burning and begging for air. brendon seemed to be the one to notice first, immediately stopping as tyler's silly fighting again them became limp, his chest rising and falling in a struggling manner.

"josh, stop," brendon whispered, worriedly backing away. "ty, it's okay. just breathe. take deep breaths, babe."

tyler nodded and started taking shallow breaths, inhaling more air every few breaths until he no longer felt lightheaded. his cuddled against josh, brendon spooning him from behind, the three sitting in comfortable silence.

"brendon? josh?" tyler mumbled, earning hums of acknowledgement from his boyfriends. "i love you. both of you. i know it may seem early in the relationship to be saying that but i love you, i really do. and i'm sure of it."

"i love you, tyler. and i love you, too, brendon," josh said, beaming as he spoke.

"i love you two so much," brendon chuckled. tyler wanted to cry. it was a bittersweet moment, finally feeling capable of love for once in his life, but he was terrified knowing that they couldn't spend their whole lives together. and before he knew it tears were streaming down his cheeks, blurring his vision as he buried his face in josh's chest.

"i don't want to leave you guys," he sobbed, thinking about the future. he wished he could have a normal life; he wished he could live past twenty six and that he could have a family with josh and brendon. he wanted to raise a family with them, grow old with them, but he knew that would never happen.

he loved them, but he hated the baggage that came along with love for him. he couldn't help himself from falling for brendon and josh, but he doesn't regret it, either. it was the most amazing feeling, knowing that he was loved. not only by one person, but two people. it was surreal and tyler was on cloud-nine. he loves those boys so much.

"you don't have to worry about that right now, ty. let's just live our lives to their fullest potentials for the moment. we love you tyler." and with those hushed words flowing from josh's mouth into tyler's ears, the brunette was falling asleep, dreams of his lovers and what it would be like to live a full life with them. if only it was that easy.
