Chapter 1

Rosie landed where Bubba would usually stand, before taking a look around. It was oddly quiet without Bubba here. Usually he would be attempting to talk to Rosie right now. It was like the place had its soul sucked out of it without Bubba there.

Rosie scanned the surroundings more closely, and noticed something. Oil. There was oil on the floor. Concerned, she knelt next to it to feel its consistency. If someone had wounded Bubba, it would be thick and gooey. If it was his tears, it would be thin, akin to cooking oil. And that cooking oil texture was exactly what Rosie had felt.

But that brought another question. What could drive Bubba to tears? What could make him cry? Rosie had never witnessed Bubba shedding tears in the entire time she had known him, and no one had ever described Bubba crying when they told tales of his exploits. So what drove the big, seemingly unstoppable bear to cry?

Rosie noticed how Bubba's tears seemed to form a path. Curious to a potential lead, she followed it. She decided now that maybe going along with this alone with this wasn't the best idea, so she shot a text to her twin sister, Holly.

'Sis, come to FNAF World now, if DD hasn't told you yet then the bosses went missing and we need to find them' Rosie sent the text.

'OMW' Holly replied, confirming she was coming along.

Rosie continued following the line of tears that Bubba had left. Eventually, she had reached the entrance for the Deep-Metal Mines. This raised more concerns. Why would Bubba willingly head to where he knows another boss, Eyesore, is? As far as Rosie knew, Eyesore and Bubba had no meaningful relationship with one another. So why would Bubba head to head to an Area where Eyesore tends to hang out? Rosie entered the Deep-Metal Mines, before gazing around. There, on the wall, was a phrase.

'REVERSED HOURGLASS', and it was written in thick oil. Oil that had been bleed.

Now what the hell could that mean? But before Rosie could think as to why that phrase was on the wall, she heard loud, thudding footsteps behind her. When she turned around, it was already too late. There he was, Bubba stood before her. But something was wrong. Viscerally wrong.

He stood before her with eyes as dark as tar with tears as dark as the night flowing through them, and a crown of thorns wrapped so tightly around his neck Rosie was wondering how he could even breath, let alone stand up straight with all the pain that must've put him in. His ragged, labored breathing betrayed the stoic expression he gave as he loomed over Rosie. With an uncharacteristically fast lunge, Bubba grabbed Rosie in his massive hand.

Rosie shrieked in agony as the thorns she didn't notice wrapped around Bubba's knuckles dug into her guts, and Rosie's subsequent thrashing only made the pain worse. Bubba didn't even react or flinch to Rosie's struggles. When Rosie attempted to use her magic to attack Bubba, she found that she couldn't even summon any spells.

All Rosie could do was scream as Bubba hauled her deep within the Deep-Metal Mines. And scream she did, and only for one thing.

“BROTHER!”
