Other than that however, my mind is blank.

I currently am held in a pet shop somewhere, funnily enough. Somebody interesting came by the window today.

He was... odd to say in the least

He was inky black of colour and made of what seemed to be goop. Oh yeah, he also had these tentacles on his back.

Stranger though was when he saw me.

Unlike everyone else who passes the window, he seemed to pause and do a double take when he noticed me.

He murmured something unintelligible and hesitantly he put his hand on the glass.

I don't know why but I placed my paw in the palm of his, albeit there was glass preventing them from touching.

The man looked shocked to say in the least, he actually took a step back and covered his mouth in what seemed to be horror

He disappeared soon after saying something about getting his gang and how they would never believe him.

Eh I kinda hope the man returns to be honest, he certainly seemed like my kinda pal.

Nightmares POV a few minutes ago

Cross has been missing for a month now.

'God damn it why the fuck did he decide to take on x gaster?!

Now he's missing and We're still looking for him. He was probably killed anyway.'

Still, I'll keep looking till I find his belongings in dust.

At that moment I passed the pet store taking a glance at the animals on display.

'Tabby, Labrador, cat that looks like cross, poodle- wait WHAT?!'

I stopped in my tracks and did a double take. And yes, there was a cat that looked like cross. Hell there was even a golden heart necklace around the neck.

"Holy shit... cross??!" my eyes only widened at the thought.Was the cat in the window staring up at me, my friend?!

Hesitantly, because I probably look stupid, I placed my hand on the glass.

The cat did the same, hesitantly placing  its paw where my palm was, the only thing preventing them from touching was the glass.

I stepped back in shock, 'how the fu- never mind that i need to get him' "holy shit, I've got to get the rest of the gang. Man they are not gonna believe this."

I teleported out of the AU and back to my castle. Kicking open Le door as I strode in.

Everybody was there, well except for cross but if I'm right then he will be soon.

"Boys I'm getting a cat." I announced

"That's nice- wait what?" Dust replied, I guess everybody thought that I lost it at this point.

"He's finally lost it." They said in unison, confirming my thoughts.

"I thought you were looking for cross?" Horror added.

"I was." I replied plainly

"Then why are you getting a cat?" Killer asked

"You'll know when you see him." I smiled mischievously imagining their faces when they see him.

"Anyway all of you get ready to meet me at the anti void because that's where I'll be when I'm done." And with that I made yet another portal back to the AU.

Since I knew where I was going, I was able to open the portal in the alleyway beside the shop.

I changed into my passive form as to make sure that the shopkeeper wasn't aware he was giving a "pet" to the king of nightmares.

I quickly changed into different attire and hid my circlet and then I was ready to go.

I saw him looking at me confused as I walked in. 'Thought as much' I realised that he probably doesn't really remember me and instead relied on a gut feeling.

"Damn fucking amnesia." I muttered under my breath.

I walked up to the counter and waited for the shop keeper to come out.

Time skip brought to you by procrastination

Ok finally that bloody shop keeper finished the form.

Honestly the best bit was him trying to get cross in the carrier, he ended up receiving six tranquillisers and even those wore off in a ridiculously short time.

Cross only got in the cage after I picked him up, pet him and then placed him in the carrier when he was practically asleep.

It was amusing and brought back memories of cross' strange antics.

Actually now that I think about it, he was kinda like a cat.

Well isn't this karma.

The skeleton who acted like a cat is now a cat.

Anyways now I am finally walking out of that god forsaken hell hole.

And I'm saying that. The KING OF NIGHTMARES is saying that place is a hell hole.

I opened a portal to the anti void and stepped through... and got an arrow of raw positivity lodged in my shoulder.

Well shit.
