Princess (Junkrat x Reader)

Note: if you like this oneshot, I will be continuing it in its own book. Please check it out.

You lay awake in the creaky hotel bed staring at the ceiling. If you looked closely you could've sworn you saw bugs swarming out of a hole in the corner of the peeling ceiling. This was definitely not something the daughter of a rich businessman was used to.

Your father rarely payed attention to you, so when he approached you saying that you were joining him on his trip to Australia you had questioned why.

Of coarse your father made a point to repetitively remind you that the only reason you were here was because he had been unable to find anyone to care for you, and he didn't trust you alone for the several months he would be gone.

However the lavish hotel and fancy food you had been expecting on arrival strongly contrasted what you had gotten. Rotting beds full of bugs in a shifty hotel.

Letting out a long sigh you roll onto your side, your eyes suddenly meeting with a pair of twitching yellow eyes.

"Hello love!" The pair of eyes said. You were about to scream when a cold metal hand covered your mouth with a dirty rag. Inhaling sharply, your mind went fuzzy however before blacking out you could make out a skinny figure bringing a bag to your face. Them everything went dark.

                           ******

A low buzz was the first thing you heard, you mind still blank. Then, like a sudden wave your thoughts came crashing back into your head, your eyes snap open and you lurch up only to discover you couldn't move.

Your hands and feet were tied messily to a chair, a dirty rag tied around your mouth.

Your sudden movement alerted a man sitting nearby, "Finally awake dear princess?" the man spoke with a obvious Australian accent.

You glare at him, your attempts to yell at him muffled by the rag around your mouth.

"Now now sweet, we can't have you yellin' away and giving me away now can we?" He heaved himself up and walked towards you, his mismatch legs making and uneven pattern on the metal floor.

You took the time to study him as he stood in front of you.

His face was scorched, yellow eyes settled deep into his sharp features.   His head topped with strange patched of blonde hair burning slightly at the tips. His lean, skinny body was adorned with bombs of all shapes and sizing, a hefty tire chained to his back.

Planting his hands on his hips he flashed you a psychotic grin, "Like what you see?" He teased, reviving a loud of muffled insults from you.

"Oh, I'm sorry I couldn't make out what you were saying! Mind repeating?!" He sneered  sarcastically, cupping his ear with his hand before bending down and removing the rag from your mouth.

"Go to hell!" You spat the moment the rag was gone.

"Oh ho! That's not very nice now is it?" He chuckled.

"When my father finds out you-"

"Oh please! I don't want to hurt you!" He sighed, lazily crossing his arms behind his head. "All I want is the ransom money and I'll let you go."

Silence hung in the room for a moment, you glare at the man hating the way he looked so amused by you. No spite or hatred you gave him seemed to get to him at all and it made you sick.

"Well," the man said finally, "Now that you're up its time to call your daddy!" He smirked, hopping over and grabbing what looked to be a homemade phone crafted similarly to the multitude of bombs the stranger carried.

Quickly the man dialed and put the phone on speaker so that you could hear the conversation as well.

After several moments someone picked up.

"Hello?" You dad's harsh voice barked on the other side of the phone.

"Why hello Mr. (L/N)!" The stranger cooed.

"What do you want?!" Your dad spat venomously.

"Well sir, I believe I have something that belongs to you!" With this the stranger held the phone up to you, silently signaling for you to talk.

"Dad! It's me I-" before you could finish the phone was pulled away from you.

"(Y/N)?" Your father sounded confused.

"That's right! And you can have her back for just-" before the stranger could finish your father cut him off with a chilling laugh.

"If you think I'm going to give you money for my useless daughter then you're sorely mistaken!" Your father snapped, his words catching both you and the stranger off guard.

"But-" the stranger started only for your father you interrupt him again.

"My useless daughter isn't worth two shit to me. Do whatever you want to her, kill her for all I care! She's just one more obnoxious thing I have to deal with! You're doing me a favor!"

Each word that left your father's mouth cut you deeper and deeper. You didn't cry, In fact your senses became numb, your mind unable to comprehend the cruel words leaving your father's mouth.

Even the stranger seemed completely caught of guard by your father's words, his mouth handing slightly open, completely shocked.

"Now goodbye!" Your father finally spat a click sounding on the other end signaling that he had hung up.

Silence. That was what followed. You're mind still trying to process what had just happened. Your father, the man you thought loved and cared for you, completely abandoned you.

You didn't know what to do, or how you should feel.

After an eternity of forever the stranger stood up. Without saying a word he untied you letting your restraints fall to the ground. For a moment his eyes met yours, his gaze was sympathetic almost bordering on pity.

Then he turned and began to collect his stuff. You realized what he was doing, jumping up.

"You're leaving me?!" You cry.

"Well... Yea.." He answered sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck with his metal hand.

"B-but where do I go?! What do I do?! My dad doesn't want me I-" you mind ran a hundred miles an hour panicking.

"Look princess," the stranger sighed exasperated. "I don't know what you should do."

"Take me with you!" You blurt suddenly, not quite sure what you were saying.

The stranger froze, before bursting into a fit of laughter. "You? Come with me?! Oh that's a good one princess!" He laughed, clutching his stomach.

You pout. "I have no where else to go though..." You trail off, weighing your options. Try to survive by yourself or go with the psycho kidnapper. 'At least the psycho knows how to survive...' You thought.

"A princess like you wouldn't last five seconds out there!" He jeered.

"Not by myself!" You retort.

The stranger groaned, running a hand down his face, thinking. He did this several times before finally looking at you. He stared at you for a long time, but you had no idea what was going on in his head.

Letting out one last groan, "Fine!" He grumbled.

Your face lit up, "Really? Thank you so much!" You grin brightly.

The stranger groaned in response and began hobbling away.

"So what's your name?" You chirp, following him.

"Junkrat." He deadpanned.

"Excuse me?"

"Name's Juckrat love, don't you forget it!" Upon saying this he gave you a wild grin to which you couldn't help but giggle at.

"I won't."
