Lena Oxton- Emily's First Christmas (c)

Every Christmas was pretty much just you and your sister celebrating the festive season together. You loved spending time with just the two of you, it meant you could keep a strong focus on each other and the importance of family. This year however would be very different though. It wasn't different for the worse as it had been before. Two years ago, Lena had been stuck in Switzerland working for Overwatch, leaving you on your own which meant you had to spend the festive season on your own. This year there was one more at the table.

Lena had been dating Emily for some time now but had done her best to keep you away from meeting her as she was worried that you would scare her away. You had finally convinced her to invite Emily to your Christmas get together. This year it was being held in your home, so you were anxiously waiting by the door for the two of them to arrive. As soon as the doorbell rang, you jumped up and could barely contain yourself long enough to get to the door.

You opened the front door to reveal your sister whom was attempting to keep a smile on her face but it was attempting to cover the nerves that were fighting to escape.

"Lena," you squealed pulling her into a bone crushing hug, which she hesitantly reciprocated.

"Y/N," she squeaked, having been squished by your tight hug.

You quickly turned your attention towards Emily. She was an attractive redhead, that you knew held your sisters heart.

"And you must be Emily, I've heard so much about you," you grinned widely, hugging her too.

"Lena has told me a lot about you too," she smiled softly.

"Good things I hope," you smiled. "I'm so glad to finally meet you seen as Lena told me a lot about you, but did her best to keep you away. I have no idea why, kind of an inconvenience as I wasn't sure what to get you, so hopefully what I did choose is fine. However, you do seem sweet, and you make my little Lena happy so I don't see why I would have any form of problem with you at all."

Lena rested a hand on your shoulder and her other on the shoulder of Emily.

"Em, Love, can you just go through to the living room. We'll be in in a moment."

Emily nodded and headed through to your sitting room.

"Y/N," Lena said sternly.

"Emily seems lovely, I'm happy for you."

She frowned at you.

"She is lovely and thank you," she stated. "But please stop being so overbearing."

You gasped, offended by such a suggestion. "I am not overbearing."

"You just talked her ears off. Just try to calm down alright?"

You rolled your eyes. "Fine. But I'm happy for you, it's nice to see you smile again."

With that the smile you spoke of appeared on her face.
