"What!" A low whisper just escaped her lips listening to him. His head was still down, Avneet held his chin and made him look at her.

"Have you gone mad? Do you know what you are talking about?" She yelled looking at him with wide eyes and tears in her eyes while he was sobbing hard.

"I-I can't punish you more. I'm sorry." He whispered still sobbing hard. Avneet melted seeing him like that. She caressed his cheeks softly while he got sobbed.

"You can never punish me." She whispered to which he yelled.

"I am, I am. I see your loneliness when you take care of Vaishu di. I-I don't have any other choice. Please!" He whispered letting his tears out keeping his head on her shoulder hiding his face in her shoulder. Her hair, dress, and shoulder got wet from his tears which made her tears also fall. She slowly caressed his hair to calm him down.

"Siddharth, s-see every problem has a solution also. Right? We can also go for adoption na instead of anything else. W-We can adopt a girl if you want o-or a boy if I want." She whispered in a cracky voice still caressing his hair while tears fell from her own eyes. Siddharth leaned back to look at her.

"C-Can our adoption make us feel like they are our real children? C-Can adoption become my medicine to heal this disability?" He asked stammering while she shook her head violently cupping his face.

"You are not disabled. You are not. Never say that to yourself. Never! You are complete, you are a pure human with a pure heart." Justified Avneet wiping his tears still cupping his cheeks. Siddharth again sobbed hard.

"We can adopt, but I won't leave you. We will adopt but I won't leave you. I won't divorce you." She whispered repeatedly shaking her head hard and weeping badly thinking about his pain, afraid of leaving him and regretting his harm which was made by Ramesh whose responsible was she, herself some way or the other.

Avneet came out of the room taking baby steps, as soon as she closed the door Abhishek and Vaishnavi who was sitting at the dining table having breakfast looked at her. His tearly eyes made them worried. Vaishnavi signed Abhishek and helped her get up and they walked towards Avneet who sat on the couch a little far from her room. Her eyes had many emotions. Vaishnavi sat beside her placing her hand on her shoulder. She glanced at Abhishek before speaking.

"Avni, are you crying? Are you okay?" Asked Vaishnavi with a tense face. That was enough to break her down. She hugged Vaishnavi tightly crying violently while Vaishnavi rubbed her back calming her down.

"Shh...Avneet, at least tell us what happened. Why are you crying like this? You went in your room to call Ashu then, where is he?" She burst a lot of questions at a time. Avneet somehow calmed herself wiping her tears and breaking the hug.

"H-He wants to divorce me." It came out like a whisper which left Abhishek and Vaishnavi astonished. Vaishnavi looked at Abhishek in shock.

"Has he gone crazy or what?" Asked Abhishek in a little high voice not able to digest her sentence.

"H-He said he is disabled and he can't punish me anymore. I cannot have children with him that's why he is divorcing me. H-He is asking me to live without him and I can't Abhi Bhai. I can't!" She cried out loud once completed.

"Where is he now?" Asked Vaishnavi in a low voice. Avneet wiped her tears harshly.

"I-I gave him medicines and made him sleep. He is sleeping." She informed. Vaishnavi looked at Abhishek, he also had tears in his eyes.

"Abhi! I think you should check him once." Vaishnavi advised. Abhishek nodded leaving the room and entering Siddharth's room. He peeped inside to look at Siddharth sleeping. Abhishek walked towards him and checked his temperature by keeping his hand on his forehead. Thank god! It was normal. Abhishek signed caressing his cheek and that's when he saw his pale face. He wiped his tear leaving the room.

"Avneet, everything will be fine. We all are with you both and we will make him understand. He is disturbed, please don't mind him at all. I and you very well know how much he needs you." instructed and consoled Vaishnavi wiping Avneet's tears off.  Avneet looked at her. 

"How di? He is separating me from himself then how can I comfort him?" Avneet objected to which Vaishnavi went quiet. She didn't know what to say. Avneet stood up wiped her tears and went to the kitchen. Vaishnavi wanted to stop her but she didn't have words left.

It was Monday, 5 in the morning when Siddharth woke up and dressed. He was ready to leave for the office, he came out of the bathroom to see Avneet still sleeping on the bed. He struggled it off and setting his hair, he was descending the stairs when his eyes caught the dining table. It had breakfast ready on it. He thought he was hallucinating as Avneet was sleeping which he saw from his own eyes while Vaishnavi couldn't make breakfast for him in this condition. Then who? He just struggled off going close to the table and took a bite of amelate.

"Avneet! It's her cooking." He whispered to himself, taking another bite. That's when, he heard a voice from behind.

"You recognize my cooking so well!" He turned around to  see Avneet standing there in pink suit, well she was ready also. His eyes wasn't leaving her for a single second.

She came forward closer to him.

"Thori jagah de de mujhe,

"You awake at this time?" He asked while she came more close to him, making it difficult for him to resist. Her closeness was making it difficult for him to breath. She opened the top button of his shirt which was not opened first.

"Apni khushi de ke main tujhe.
Tere dard se jud jaun main....💘"

Avneet saw a threat hanging along the button. She leaned forward and cutt it with the help of her teeth. Her lips touched his neck and his breath hitched for a second. She leaned back to look at him with the threat in her lips leaving a lipstick mark on his neck. Their eyes locked with each other.

"Mila jo tu yahaan mujhe,
Dilaun main yakeen tujhe.

Rahoon ho ke teri sadaa,
Bas itna chahti hun main.....💔"

"You woke up so, I also thought to wake up with you. You didn't liked that." She answered indirectly disappointed, hurt. He didn't look at her.

"No, Why would I have any problem?" He objected saying casually. Avneet chuckled humorously with tears in her eyes. This time he looked at her.

"You might also have forgotten about my paper today. Right?" Asked Avneet humorously with sorrow in her voice. His eyes widen in realization. Yes, it was her final paper today and he forgot.

"Yeah, why will you remember it when you are ready to leave me, divorce me? When you have already decided to leave me, you won't also remember anything regarding me." She ranged in anger with tears in her eyes. Yes! Her anger wasn't cool till now. She was so much angry on him from yesterday.

"Avneet, I...." Siddharth was cutt off by her.

"Leave it. I don't wanna talk about it. Have your breakfast then drop me to my center." She instructed wiping her tears, turning her face to the other side. Her voice was like an order which he obeyed and sat on the chair, having his breakfast. Looking at her standing he slided another chair back signing her to her by tapping on the chair.

She sat on the seat looking at his breakfast. Siddharth placed a bite infront of her. She looked at the bite and then Siddharth while he was also looking at her only.

"Khamoshiyaan teri sunu,
Aur door kahein na jaun main."

She took the bite opening her mouth. They did breakfast while Siddharth was also feeding her. They both left having breakfast. Avneet was on passenger seat beside Siddharth who was driving. Avneet didn't looked at him but outside the window or the book which she was having in her lap. Siddharth was taking glances time by time. The 45 minute drive was silent. As soon as they reach college, Avneet opened the door of car and stepped outside when Avneet heard his voice.

"All the best! May you succeed today." He wished her. She turned to his side.

"To jo na ho to main bhi nahein.....🥺💔"

"Thank you!" Was her short answer. She shut the door in anger while Siddharth just looked at her continuously. She felt his gaze and that's why turned back to look at him.

"Dekhun tujhe yaraa jitni dafa main.
Tujhpe hai aata Mujhko yakeen....❣️"

He kept looking at her only. Avneet looked forward and disappeared while he just watched her disappearing. He leaned back closing his eyes as a tear fell from his eye.
