It was Sunday and Siddharth didn't went to office from the time he has shifted here, reason were many. Today, finally Abhishek and Vaishnavi were coming to meet them at their home. Siddharth and Avneet were preparing many dishes for them. That's when the door bell rang. Siddharth who was wearing apran and helping Avneet in kitchen heard it and looked at the door.

"Look like they have arrived." Spoke Siddharth looking at Avneet who also nodded with a bright smile on her face, arranging the dishes. Siddharth paced out of the kitchen heading towards the door and opened it to see Abhishek and Vaishnavi standing there with a cake in their hand.

"Good noon! How are you both?" Siddharth greeted hugging his brother and then side hugging his favourite sister. Vaishnavi also didn't broke the hugg and noticed him wearing apren.

"Hmm, Abhi seems like our baby bro has become a great husband and cook." She teased smirking. Siddharth looked down to realize that he forgot to remove the apren. Vaishnavi looked at Abhishek with angry frown.

"Abhi, you should atleast learn something from your brother. He is helping his wife in kitchen and you don't even know what I might be doing in kitchen." Vaishnavi said teasing Abhishek who made an annoyed face. Siddharth was laughing silently all the time. Vaishnavi again opened her mouth to speak when Siddharth cutt her off.

"Bhabhi, I will listen your every complain but let's go inside first." Scoffed Siddharth.

"By the way, the home is beautiful." Abhishek complimented looking around. They all came inside and that's when Avneet came out of the kitchen welcoming them and hugging Vaishnavi and Abhishek.

"How are you di?" Asked Avneet with a bright smile. She was so happy by their visit because in no time, she has started considering them her own family.

"I'm fine but not okay." Replied Vaishnavi as her smile faded. Avneet became concerned.

"Why did? Is everything fine?" She asked looking at Abhishek.

"After you both left, that home had become a graveyard. No one talks to anyone. Jannat does not come out of the room, uncle has started a side business in which he is keeping himself engage but he is depressed after all that. About aunty, she has completely lost her mind. She isn't in good mental health. When you guys would be there, I used to talk to you guys whenever I used to feel bored, but now..." she explained ending with disappointed. Siddharth chuckled humorously.

"Who can be in good state of mind after destroying one's life?" Taunted Siddharth in a loud whisper that everyone heard.

"Anyways, you guys come and sit. I'll arrange some things and come." Avneet said but Vaishnavi held her hand and gave her the cake which they bought for them. Avneet smiled excusing herself. They all settled on couch in living hall when Avneet also came with a tray in her hand. The tray had cake in centre with 4 cups of tea. Avneet served everyone and atlast serving Siddharth, she sat beside him when Vaishnavi suddenly spoke.

"Well, we both have a good news for you both." Abhishek spoke keeping his tea on the table in excitement. Siddharth and Avneet looked at each other.

"I am gonna be a father soon, and you chachu Ashu! Vaishu is pregnant." Abhishek announced in excitement which made Avneet happy but faded Siddharth's smile.

"Doctors have also said that you might can't become father throughout your life." Abhishek's voice echoed in his mind.

"Congratulations bhai and di. I am so happy for you." Avneet congratulated squeezing in happiness while Siddharth also forced a smile.

"Congratulations dada and to you also di." Wished Siddharth with a forced, fake smile which Abhishek caught in a second and suddenly realized the reason behind his fake smile which made him upset. Vaishnavi also noticed it but kept quite. She looked at Abhishek keeping her hand on his shoulder while he nodded.

"Umm, leave all this. I have arranged a get together party tomorrow as we have special day tomorrow." Spoke Abhishek struggling the topic off. Siddharth and Avneet raised their eyebrows while Vaishnavi passed a smile.

"What is special tomorrow?" Asked Siddharth glancing Avneet who was also confused at that time. Abhishek rolled his eyes at his question.

"Come'on Siddharth! I didn't thought you will forget it like this." Scoffed Vaishnavi.

"I also don't remember di, what special day is tomorrow?" Avneet asksd joining the conversation. Vaishnavi looked at her with frown.

"It's your birthday, Avneet!" She yelled which made Avneet realize and her eyes widen in realization.

"Oh yeah! It's my birthday tomorrow." Spoke Avneet looking at Vaishnavi.

"Seriously, Avneet how can you forget your birthday?" Asked Vaishnavi making an annoyed face.

"Actually, after papa's death I never celebrated my birthday. That's why." She justified herself. Vaishnavi smiled.

"No worries, tomorrow you are gonna enjoy a lot." Assured Vaishnavi sipping her tea. Siddharth smiled looking at Avneet.

"Tomorrow is our first anniversary also love. Tomorrow's day is gonna be so special for you. I promise!" Thought Siddharth to himself, smiling sipping his tea.

It was 11:57 pm of night, Abhishek and Vaishnavi decided to stay at Siddharth and Avneet's home for one day. Right now, Avneet was searching for Siddharth from kitchen till her bedroom but she didn't find him. She was hooking here and there walking in lobby looking for him, calling him when Abhishek who was coming out of his room saw her.

"Avneet!" He called her which made her attentive. She faced him dropping the call. He noticed her tensed for a second, so he paced near her.

"What happened? Is everything alright? You seem worried." He asked in a casual tone.

"Bhai, actually I was looking for Siddharth. I don't know where he is from evening and he isn't even picking ths call." She complained with frown on her forehead which made Abhishek smile but he didn't showed it up. He hid his smile making worried face.

"Are you serious? He is so careless." He added looking at her. That's when, his phone rang. As Avneet was standing infront of him her eyes fell on the screen.

"Here, Ashu's call." Abhishek spoke rolling his eyes, attending the call.

"Ashu, where are you?" Asked Abhishek but suddenly his expressions changed.

"What!!" This made Avneet more worried. Abhishek looked at Avneet and started walking towards another room which was not in anyone's use. Avneet looked at him, trying to stop him but when he didn't listen to her, she started following him. He entered a room closing the door while Avneet saw him and quickly went to that room. She started knocking the door as it made her more worried, his behaviour made her more concerned. No response came. She knocked it again but again no one reponded. She slowly opened the door to see something shocking infront of her.

Suddenly she heard a male and a female voice from behind and also a boom. Flowers started falling on her.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you Avneet. Happy Anniversay to you Avneet and Siddharth. Happy Anniversary to you." Abhishek and Vaishnavi rang with full excitement. That's when, Avneet realized it was 12:00am. She looked at her left side to see Siddharth standing at some distance. He started coming towards her and stopped coming close to her.

"Happy Anniversary and birthday to my love!" He wished holding her hand. He dragged a gold ring from his pocket. Vaishnavi and Abhishek cheered them together. Siddharth slided the ring in Avneet's finger which bought tears in her eyes. She quickly hugged him tightly in happiness, keeping her head on her chest while Siddharth slided his arm around her waist. They again heard a boom, they broke the hug turning their heads to left side to see Abhishek and Vaishnavi with the boom cylinder in their hand. They stepped towards them and hugged Siddharth and Avneet wishing them. They went near the decorations and cut two cakes together.

Avneet cutt the cake which was for her while others sang the song for her. She placed a small bite infront of Siddharth's mouth and he taking a bite, made Avneet to ear it too. Abhishek and Vaishnavi also made her eat the cake while she gave them big bites taking her revenge for making her worry. At the end Avneet and Siddharth cut the cake which was for their anniversary.

They all exchanged their bites with each other, giggling, laughing their hearts out and enjoying family time. Someone has said right "Family is actually the people in your life who are close to your heart, who bring out the best in you, who laugh, celebrate, dream with you, who are by your side in every circumstances and who love you infinitely."

I literally adored their bond so closely.😘❤️
