Siddharth was sitting on the bed gripping the bedsheet and processing everything. That's when the door opened and Avneet came inside the room tip-topping. She noticed that he didn't react, nor he moved. She slowly paced near him sitting beside him. She noticed him not blinking his eyes.

"Siddharth!" she called him placing her hand on his shoulder. He looked at her. 

"I want to sleep," whispered Siddharth not making to talk at the point. Avneet wanted to console but she couldn't say anything. He just laid down and dragged the blanket over him. Avneet was still looking at him. She noticed him sniffing; she didn't have words to console him as she knew it wouldn't heal him. She hugged him from behind lovingly laying at the edge. It was enough to break him, a sob escaped his lips which lend Avneet's tears also to fall from her eyes. Others might sleep peacefully on their beds but this couple's night was like a nightmare that wasn't ending now.

Abhishek was sitting in his office thinking something deeply when a peon knocked at his door. He looked at the door and gave him permission to come. 

"Sir, you said to inform you when Siddharth Sir comes. He is here, Sir," he informed. Abhishek nodded his head.

"Tell him to meet me," ordered Abhishek to which the peon left nodding. Siddharth knocked at the door after minutes. 

"May I come in?" asked Siddharth in a low voice and dull face. Abhishek nodded feeling helpless looking at him. He came and sat in front of Abhishek on the seat. 

"You called me?" he asked keeping his arms on the table and looking at his brother. 

"Avneet told me you haven't done breakfast. Why?" asked Abhishek getting sensitive over this matter. Siddharth just shook his head. 

"I just didn't feel like eating." declared Siddharth with a straight face looking down. 

"What about dinner? you didn't have it too at night," added Abhishek concerned looking at him only. Now he got frustrated and annoyed.

"Dada, please! I won't die if I won't eat for 1 day. Please, don't act as if nothing has happened. This is hurting me more." objected Siddharth getting frustrated. Abhishek could see tears in Siddharth's eyes. 

"Ashu, see....." before he could speak further Siddharth left the room in a rush. Abhishek banged his hand in anger, anger on himself.

It was evening, Siddharth entered his room to see Avneet standing in the room's small balcony. She looked at the door hearing the knob close to see Siddharfh coming inside. She rushed towards him cupping his cheeks.

"Are you alright?" Asked Avneet in worry to which Siddharth nodded.

"Can you bring the dinner in thr room itself? Please!" Requested Siddharth looking down and this grew her smile. She knew he is starving from yesterday night and she was sure he would demand that. She nodded smiling and left the room. Siddharth slowly walked towards bed and sat on it closing his eyes, accepting the truth now. After 2 minutes, Avneet came with a tray in her hand, well decorated. She placed it on the bed and placed one spoon infront of his mouth, she wanted him to eat from her own hands. He opened his mouth and took his first bite. He was determined that he won't become weak due to this news but somethings things go different as we have imagined. Like this, Siddharth ate his dinner with her hands but at end he dragged the spoon from her hand and placed infront of her mouth. She ate happily smiling. She then kept the tray aside and hugged him keeping her head in his shoulder. He kept her one hand above hers.

"Won't you leave me after all this?" Asked Siddharth hopelessly. Avneet looked at him in anger.

"Never say like that. You are my life no matter what the situation is. I will become bandage for your wounds and peace for your restlessness." She said lovingly gripping his arm closing her eyes. He kept his head on hers impressed. They decided to become each other's cure unaware that some more challenges are waiting for them.
