This was enough to slip the floor under Abhishek's feet. He then went in the direction where the doctor went. It was O.T. Small glass hole was present on the door. He took baby steps and what he saw made his eyes wet, making him go weaker. Doctors were giving his brother anesthesia through a mask while he was lying lifeless with some doctor surrounding him for the operation.

Avneet who was sitting on the seat emotionless saw Abhishek coming toward her. He slowly took the seat beside her in shock. Noticing his silence, Avneet knew how broken he would be.

"I'm sorry, Abhi Bhai. I never thought I would be the reason for his much worse condition. He never denied anything which I said to him but today, I don't know how will I forgive myself if anything goes wrong with him. I don't know how I forgive myself for any loss?" She cried looking at her hands which were having blood stains.

"He was my little brother, I never allowed anyone to hurt my brother or even touch him without his permission, and today, that same brother was all in blood, and I, I couldn't do anything." Said Abhishek controlling himself to not break down. That's when the police arrived there. The S.H.O came and stood beside Abhishek. He looked up to see the S.H.O. He was shocked to see him. 

"Abhishek, you here?" asked the S.H.O out of happiness. Abhi stood up.

"Vikram!" exclaimed Abhishek hugging him tightly. He was sobbing while Vikram patted his back. After some time, Abhishek broke the hug.

"I was informed about a murder case. That's why I had to come here and fortunately, I found you after so long." expressed Vikram in happiness but got serious as Abhishek wasn't replying , not giving any sign of happiness but was just wiping his tears.

"It's not a murder case but gun shot case and the victim is my own blood brother." Informed Abhishek which shocked Vikram to the core.

"The same brother who was with you in your college time." Confirmed Vikram to which Abhishek nodded. Vikram took a deep breath before speaking.

"Alright just sit and relax," Vikram made Abhishek sit on the seat.

"Now tell What and how did it happened?" Asked Vikram passing him bottle of water.

"I don't know anything. She is my brother's wife you can ask her, she was with him I don't know anything." Cried Abhishek. Vikram once again hugged him. Avneet's grip on gun got tight. Yes, she was holding the same gun from which she killed Ramesh. Vikram asked Avneet about the details breaking hug with Abhishek. She looked at him before speaking. She told each and everything without hiding a single word but not to forget in hesitation. From her mother's trap till today's dinner. Everything.  Hercript on gun was getting tight and tight as she was telling the story but she didn't told that she killed Ramesh by her own bare hands. Suddenly Vikram's phone rang and he pick it up quickly.

"Hello? what?" He exclaimed in shock dropping the call. Tension was clear on his face.

"What happened?" asked Abhishek.

"Ramesh got killed by someone and died at the spot." Informed Vikram. As soon as he completed Avneet's grip tighten on the gun. Fresh tears started falling from her eyes. Unknown fear took over her.

"Surprisingly, his gun is also not there." This shocked Abhishek more than enough but wasn't affecting Avneet at all.

"Anyways, I had talked to the doctor. Don't worry about anything. I have to investigate this case myself. I will come after sometimes. Take care! alright?" Consoled Vikram to which Abhishek nodded smiling a little. Vikram left. Abhishek looked at Avneet who was still expressionless.

"Bhai, can you please come with me? I need to show you something." Requested Avneet to which Abhishek shook his head. Abhishek followed Avneet till the back side of the hospital.

Will Avneet tell Abhishek the truth?
