Ashley's POV

Everything went dark, I could hear people calling my name, I tried to move, but my legs were stuck, my arms were in pain and my head was burning, a warm thick liquid dripped down my face, I fell unconscious once again...

Anthony's POV

I was the only one awake, the car was on fire. Mine and Marzia's airbags went, I couldn't see the others..I kicked my door and it burst open, I got Marzia out.

"T-T-Thank you!" Marzia trembled

"Don't mention it!" I smiled, I quickly ran over to the car and tried to open Felix's door, No luck.

"FELIX!!" I shouted, he had cut marks all over his face, he woke up slowly and kicked the door of the car and got out, coughing.

"What the fuck?!" Felix looked around "Where's Marzia?"

"I'm here!" Marzia coughed, Felix crawled over to her, checking if she was ok.

"Wait...Fuck!" Anthony shouted "Ian!"

Ian did not wake up he had a little more damage than Felix did. I smashed his window and pulled him out. "Felix! Marzia! Make sure you get him to wake up!"

"Okay!" Felix replied.

"Okay!" Marzia responded.

They shook him multiple times, it was only when Felix shouted his name that he woke up.

"Ugh......" Ian moaned, he realized something "W-W-Where's Ashley?!" He was coughing much badder than Felix.

"Fuck she's still in the car!" Felix shouted, coughing once again.

"I'll help you!" Marzia got up, Felix stopped her.

"No it's okay, I don't want you getting more hurt than you already are," Felix smiled a little bit.

Ian and Felix ran over to the car, they didn't care what condition they were in, I helped them, we tried kicking the door down, but it was stuck stiff. Ian jumped into the car through the window, he tried to undo her seat belt, but it was stuck. Ashley was in the worst condition, she had more burn marks, cuts, a bleeding head and her right leg looked mangled underneath the driver's seat.

"Ashley? Ashley!" Ian shrieked "Fuck! She's bleeding!"

The seat belt burst open, Ian picked up Ashley and her bag and kicked the other door off with the help of Me and Felix. The pugs jumped out, whimpering, they ran over to Marzia.

"She's bleeding!" Ian was shaking in fear, we all were. "Do we have any bandages?"

"No.......wait!" Felix remembered "We got some from the warehouse!"

Felix ran over to Ashley, I kept her head still and Felix cleaned the cut that was just underneath her hairline. After we'd cleaned and bandaged the wound, she still wouldn't wake up..Ian checked for a pulse, it was going quite slow, but she was still alive.

Ashley's POV

I felt someone shake me gently, I opened my eyes, I was dizzy and my eyesight was blurry, my eyelids fluttered open.

"W-What happened?" I said drowsily

"We crashed and Ian saved you" Anthony replied softly

"Felix sorted your bleeding head" Marzia comforted me as the pugs sat beside me.

I tried to get up, Ian and Felix stopped me.

"No! Stay down for a bit.." Ian reassured me, he was coughing.

"You're still in shock " Felix told me, he was coughing too.

"We should stay here for the night" Anthony suggested.

"Yeah, nobody is in any shape to move" Ian agreed, his lungs were in bad shape.

"This is all my fault!" Anthony looked to the ground, tears were forming, no one else could see that apart from me.

"I-It's not..." I murmured.

"Yes it is...I nearly killed you.....All of you.." Anthony was upset.

Felix coughed, "The brakes were faulty I think..."

"Yeah they were, I tried pushing the pedal but it never worked." Anthony replied "Ok I get it that we crashed, but what caused the fire?"

"The metal of the car scraped along the road, by the time we almost hit the tree, it caused a spark." Marzia explained "That's why the car suddenly felt hotter before we crashed."

"Thank goodness we have a tent.." Ian replied, coughing, Anthony set up the tent, Marzia helped him.

"T-Thank you..Ian...and F-Felix!" I smiled, they lay either side of me, Marzia was at the far left next to Felix and Anthony was at the far right next to Ian. The pugs lay by Felix and Marzia. "M-My leg hurts like hell.."

"Your right leg might be broken, when me and Ian tried to get you, your right leg was stuck under the driver's seat." Felix replied, his lungs were in bad shape too.

We just lay there, we ate a few snacks that we'd recovered and we didn't use any lights, apart from our IPhone's, they were our only source of light, because we didn't want to draw attention to the tent, in the thick forest. The pain in my right leg was inevitable, I couldn't sleep at all, Ian, Felix and Anthony were taking shifts. Marzia, Edgar and Maya still asleep.

Me and Anthony, were the only ones awake at this time. I sat up.

"Hey," Anthony whispered, "You okay?"

"Yeah," I murmured "My leg still hurts like hell!"

"It's okay. You'll be safe with us... after all it could have been worse right?"

"True.." I agreed. Anthony tiptoed towards me and gave me a hug.

"I promise, we will make sure you won't get injured anymore!" Anthony smirked, I did believe everyone in this group would protect me, but in this situation, anything could happen.. Surprisingly, the night went quite quickly. No interruptions at all. Once everyone had woken up, we pulled down the tent and walked further into the forest.

Felix's POV

"Fuck!" Ashley muttered, limping "My leg!"

"I can carry you, if you want?" I offered.

"Are you sure?" Ashley winced in pain.

"Yes I am." I replied, I held her in my arms (bridal style) making sure that her right leg was still.

"Haha! Looks like you got a slave!" Anthony laughed

"Yep!" Ashley giggled, coughing slightly.

"I'm not her slave!" I stated, chuckling a little bit.

"Oh really?" Anthony replied "How about you let her walk herself then?" Anthony knew I wouldn't.

"I don't want to! Plus it's more like a limp than a walk." I mumbled.

"Told you so!" Anthony nudged Ian, we all laughed, I pulled a duck face at Anthony, which made them laugh. As we continued walking, Ian and I started coughing a lot more.

"Are you okay?" Ashley asked us both.

"Yeah I'm okay!" Ian replied.

"We should be asking you that!" I smirked, it turned into a slight frown "You had the most damage during that incident.."

"Did I?" Ashley asked, sounding confused.

"Yep. Broken leg, concussion, severe head injury, cuts and burn marks. You had the most burn marks and cuts though." I muttered, I tried to say the last quieter, looking ahead of me, trying to forget about what happened. That memory still haunted me, I didn't know why? Even though it was only last night..

Ian's POV

We carried on walking, when we saw walkers, Felix drew his weapon first (while still holding Ashley), Ashley drew hers next and the rest of us followed.

"Can you stand upright?" Felix whispered.

"I think so yeah," Ashley whispered back. Felix gently put Ashley down, so that he had a better shot, they equipped their silencers.

Marzia shot one first, then Felix, then Ashley, then Me and Anthony. After all the walkers were dead, Ashley, Felix and Marzia put their guns in their gun holsters (around the waist)
while Me and Anthony put ours in our gun holsters (on the back). As we stepped forward, we saw a guy with a white mask and a pistol, walked out from the forest trees, Felix, Marzia and most likely Ashley, knew who it was, but me and Anthony were confused...
