Ashley's POV

The guy stood in front of us, I realised who it was.

"I-Ian?" I trembled, staring at his cuts and burn marks.

"Hey Ashley." he smiled at me.

"Oh my god!" I half whispered, half shrieked, I ran up to him and hugged him, squeezing him to death.

"How did you escape?!" Anthony asked, giving him a manly hug.

"It's a long story.." Ian replied, laughing a little, "I'll explain later..What's new here then?"

"Ashley nearly got bitten by a walker and she was one of our friends..." Felix shook his head and continued walking, holding back the tears he desperately wanted to show.
I looked to the ground in shame.

"I'm glad you're back Ian," I looked back up at his caring blue eyes, hugging his side. I pulled away to see him smirking.

After around another hour of walking, my head started hurting even more than before, "BEEP! BEEP!" It kept ringing, I was the only one who could hear it. Ear-piercing, loud and high-pitched, the noise was becoming worse, my legs began to feel tired and my vision going blurry. I don't even know how I managed to stay upright!

"Can't anyone hear that beeping noise?" I asked, standing still and holding my head in agony.

"What beeping noise?" Felix questioned, Ian and Anthony looked confused, so did Marzia, even Mark and Ryan were confused.

"Are you--" Ian tried to ask me, but before he could finish his sentence, I fell to the floor with a "THUD!" Walkers were surrounding them, Felix and Ian ran to my body. Blackout.

Ian's POV

"Get the walkers out of our reach! Me and Felix will sort out Ashley!" I shouted, checking for Ashley's pulse, "Its really slow!" I looked at Felix with worry.

"Fuck! We need to get the hell outta here!" Felix stated, reloading his gun, "IAN DUCK!" he shouted at me, I ducked. He shot the walkers behind me.

"Thanks dude!" I smiled a little.

"Thank me later! Grab Ashley and lets go!" Felix shouted shooting the walkers around them. I picked up Ashley (Bridal Style) and ran with everyone. Ryan and Mark were shooting the walkers that were close to us. Anthony was wrestling a walker, but managed to push it back with his shotgun, he ran; catching up and frantically searching for an area to stop.

"FELIX!" Marzia yelped, she was wrestling a walker, it was twice her size. Felix ran back and shot the walker, grabbing Marzia's hand.

"You okay?" He asked, continuing to run with us.

"Yeah, I'm okay!" She replied, looking back and running.

After about 15 minutes of running, we found a covered area, where we were safe; we stopped running to gain breath.

"Ashley still okay?" Felix panted, standing back upright.

"Yeah..she's still unconcious but she's still alive." I replied, still carrying her. "We need to stop for a minute.."

Ashley's pulse was still quite slow, I had ran out of ideas.

"She was talking about a beeping noise right?" I asked everyone.

"Yeah she was..Maybe it was stress?" Felix suggested.

"Maybe.." Ryan muttered, looking to the ground, I was sure he knew something, "Just...Check her over make sure she isn't injured...." I was a little suspicious but did so anyway. Mark and Ryan looked at each other anxiously.

As I was checking over her body for injuries, I noticed a crumpled piece of paper, sticking out of Ashley's backpack, it must have fallen out of her notebook; but then I noticed blood on it..

"Guys...Look at this.." I was shocked to read what was on it.

I can't take this at all, everyone I knew, my family and relatives, my best friend even! Gone, dead or zombified, I hope no one reads this, I think I'm going delirious..For some odd reason, self-harm makes me feel better...Takes all the pain away.. But I know I shouldn't do it, Felix, Ryan, Anthony, everyone will miss me. Ryan has even tried to stop me, but I'm an emotional wreck. And its like a drug, once I start, I can't stop. Ever since I started doing this, I have been getting migraines and headaches, weird beeping noises and dizziness, but I don't think its what caused it. If my group finds this...I'm sorry....I let you down...I've been through so much and I can't handle it.. Please...help me...

Ashley...

"Ryan? You knew about this?" I asked, curiously, dropping the note instantly.

"S-She said she'd hurt herself more if I told anyone!" Ryan backed himself up.

"I knew too..." Mark sighed, standing next to Ryan, "And yeah, she said she'd hurt herself more.."

I didn't blame them, they probably wanted Ashley to trust them both.

I turned back around and quickly pulled up her right arm sleeve, Ryan and Mark ran to help. I saw multiple scars across her arm, they was still bleeding, everyone gasped.

"Get the bandages!" I ordered, applying pressure to her fresh wounds. Felix gave me the bandages and Anthony helped stop the bleeding.

"They're not deep are they?" Felix asked with worry.

"Well, one is. Why?" I questioned, confused.

"If one of them is deep then we....have to stitch it up, we have the equipment, but its gonna hurt like hell!" Felix scratched his head, sighing sadly. "This is worse than Ryan's wound before.. It'll be harder to stitch up.."

"Crap! Whose gonna do it then?" Anthony looked at the deep cut.

Just then a familiar voice called out.

"Whose in there?" the guy asked, holding his gun.

"Is that-..." I whispered and trailed off. I carefully stepped out.

"Matt?" I asked, completely speechless.

"Ian?" he replied, lowering his gun.

"How did you get around here?" I asked with shock.

"It's hard to explain.." Matt replied, looking down.

"Believe me! I have an explaination to make too!" I chuckled a little.

"Er....Ian, we need your help!" Felix shouted from inside.

"We might need your help.." I continued, "C'mon." I beckoned him towards the area we were in.

Matt followed me into the secluded area.

"What's happened?" Matt asked, putting his gun away.

"She randomly passed out, she still alive but we found this.." Felix sighed, showing Sohinki the note.

"She's been self-harming?" Matt was completely shocked.

"Yeah.." Felix mumbled.

"Your brother was a doctor, right?" Anthony replied, looking across at him.

"Yeah.. Maybe I can help you. I learnt a few things from him." Matt spoke, looking over the cuts.

"This one seems to have gone deep," Matt examined Ashley's arm, "And we need to stitch it up..."

"We have the equipment, but none of us have done this before.." Anthony sighed.

"Ok, I can try and do it, just make sure that you have the bandages ready," Matt instructed, he grabbed the needle and threaded it, putting it on the side. "Do you have any disinfectant or something like that?" He asked.

"Yeah, we found some Hydrogen Peroxide from the warehouse," Felix explained, grabbing it from his backpack and handing it to Sohinki.

"Thanks," He replied, unscrewing the lid, "This is gonna hurt her like crazy...Let's hope she doesn't scream.."

He grabbed some folded tissue and began to gently pour the Hydrogen Peroxide onto it, not too little, not too much. He carefully wiped it along the cuts that were bleeding; luckily, the cuts weren't too big, although the deep cut would hurt more than the others.

Ashley's POV

I awoke to the feeling of immense pain, I opened my eyes and started wincing loudly. There was a recognizable guy sitting next to me, holding my right arm, Ian, Anthony and Felix were looking at my right arm as well.

"W-What's going on?" I mumbled, trying to see straight, my vision was still blurry.

"A-Ashley! You're awake.." Ian, Anthony and Felix gasped, sighing in relief.

"Thank god you're okay!" Ryan looked over at me and smiled, "We're just trying to sort out your arm, its gonna sting for a while.."

"And we need to stitch up one of your wounds since it went quite deep, so that will hurt a little, but we're not at that stage so, you should be fine." the guy smirked at me, "I'm Matt by the way."

"Sohinki, right?" I murmured, my vision wasn't clear, but I could tell who it was.

"Yeah," he smiled.

"I recognized your voice. I'm Ashley." I smirked a little, "My vision is still kind of blurry.." I continued, sounding confused.

"Well the good thing is that you're alive.." Felix grinned, "We were worried for a second."

"You found out how they got there, didn't you?" I sighed deeply, trying not to think about the hydrogen peroxide burning out my wound.

"Yeah..But we can talk about that later, we all have stories to tell." Ian replied, gently holding my arm steady.

"Okay, now we have to stitch it up." Matt continued, putting the folded tissue to one side, "I only have to go through twice, it won't hurt for that long, okay?"

I took a deep breath, "Okay."

Matt's POV (Sohinki)

"Make sure that there are no walkers about," I declared, turning back to Ashley's arm. "Just try not to think about it okay?"

"Ok," Ashley exhaled deeply, looking away from her right arm.

I carefully sutured her arm, she whimpered aloud with each stitch, her cut was quite stiff because of the disinfectant and her arm would bleed every so often, I would wipe it up and continue, so by the time I was done with the stitches, Ashley was still in agonizing pain.

"It's ok, I've finished. We just need to bandage your arm up." I explained, wrapping her arm carefully.

"Thanks." Ashley smiled a little, "It hurts like hell!"

"Yeah, it will for a few hours, and there may be a few scars." I continued, "But you'll be fine!" I smirked, messing up Ashley's hair on purpose.

"Hey!" She giggled, pulling Ian's unamused face.

"That's my face!" Ian pretended to sob

"I'm sorry! But your face is fabulous!" Ashley giggled immensely, saying it in the way Felix would say it.

"Stahp using ma punchline!" Felix moaned dramatically.

"Listen! My first words came from YouTubers!" Ashley joked, sassing Felix and laughing at the same time. We all laughed.

Felix's POV

Later on.. 5:30pm..

We were all sitting around the campfire we had made. Discussing many different things, we were smiling and laughing for a while, until I asked the one question, that we desperately wanted an answer for..
