Rangiku POV

"(y/n) I want you to return to the seireitei with me." I said, "I don't get it how was it that I could create my own kidō, but create an entire world with it?!" He said, "well it started out as a way to practice kidō and build up your skills, but eventually you created your own. It was meant to bring the stories you came up with life for lack of a better word, it allowed you to create a pocket universe and fill it with the characters in the story. You could view and manipulate events to change the outcome of the story as you saw fit." I said, "I get that, but I don't get why I'm here. If what you said is true then I couldn't write myself into the story." He said, "that's true, you couldn't put yourself into the story and you never wanted to, you said that if you were there than the story would begin to revolve around you and then the. Story would fall apart. But one day you and I went outside the walls of the seireitei for a walk and we were attacked by several hollows. You having never had seen a hollow before were overwhelmed by stress and tried to use your story kidō to distract yourself from your fear, in the end you lost control of the kidō and were absorbed into it. These grimm as you call them are the remains of the hollows you saw." I said calmly, "I.... I think I get it now, but I cant go back with you. I made a life here and there are things that I need to discover before I could ever think about leaving with you." He said, his words hurt a bit. "I.... I understand sweetheart, but I don't want to loose you again." I said as I hugged him. Suddenly I heard running coming towards us "(y/n) get behind me and stay there!" I said as I pushed him behind me.

Blake POV

(y/n) was taking a long time to use the restroom and when I went to check on him I discovered that he was gone. Luckily Lucinda saw him run into the woods.

"When I find him he's in big trouble!" I said as I ran through the woods.

I jumped through some trees and found (y/n) with some women who was holding a long black sword with a dragon head for a guard. "(Y/N) GET BEHIND ME NOW!" I yelled as I drew my weapon. "WAIT! Please don't fight, Blake this is Shiryu. She's umm, part of my semblance. She defends me from opponents." He said, I glared at Shiryu and put my weapon away, "ok then, now tell me why you're out here?!" I said angrily, "oh I saw a butterfly and thought you would like it but it flew deep into the woods and I kinda got lost out here. I'm sorry." He said, I sighed "sweetie you shouldn't run off like that. Well I'm going to call Chris and have him open a void to the dorm for us and have him meet us outside the woods so please don't run off again." I said as I called Chris on my scroll.

(y/n) POV

I felt bad for lying to Blake, but I couldn't let her find out about Rangiku or about my soul reaper powers.

Blake and I eventually left the woods and met up Chris. "Hey babe. Thanks again for doing this." Blake said as she gave Chris a kiss on the cheek, "master why is miss Blake kissing that man?" Shiryu asked, "oh I forgot that you weren't around to meet Chris. He's Blake's boyfriend they have a daughter named Sky." I said as we walked through the void.

"Hey Blake what took you guys so long? And who is she?" Yang asked as we exited the void, "this is Shiryu, she's a part of (y/n)'s semblance apparently." Blake said, "oh that makes sense." Ruby said, "and as for us taking so long, well..." Blake said, but I cut her off before she could finish, "I saw a butterfly and thought Blake would like it so I chased it into the woods and got lost." I said, "that's horrible!" Weiss said, "what that I got lost?" I asked, "No that sword does not match her dress at all!" Weiss said sternly, "WEISS!" the rest of team RWBY yelled, "that's not what matters here! What matters is (y/n) got lost in the GRIMM INFESTED woods!" Blake said, "well it matters to me." Weiss pouted, I laughed a bit and returned Shiryu to my spirit world.

Later that night I snuck out to go see Rangiku. We met up on the roof it was a bit difficult to keep my balance, but eventually I got the hang of it. "Hey Rangiku I'm sorry I'm late!" I said as I slipped. Suddenly I was in Rangiku's arms, "are you ok sweetie?" She asked, "yeah I just lost my balance a bit that's all, but how did you get to me so fast you were at least twenty feet away?" I said, "oh, I used a technique called flash step, if you want I can teach you how to use it too." she said as she sat me down, "yeah that would be great!" I said, "alright but your going to need to get out of your gigai first." She said, "gigai?" I asked, "it's like a fake body for soul reapers to use while in the world of the living for under cover missions or when we would need them." she said, "o...ok will it hurt?" I asked, "no not at all but lets get off the roof before we do anything else alright." she said, I nodded and we went down to the ground.

"Alright I'm going to push your soul out of your body with this glove it's called a gokon tekko." She said as she pushed on my back a bit. "Rangiku I don't think it worked." I said as I turned around, I then saw my body in Rangiku's arms. She gently lied my body don on the ground. "Interesting, your body is different than your soul. But then again your not like most people now are you. And you can call me mom sweetie after all I am your mother." she said, "maybe back in your world you are, but here I have no idea who my real mother is or  my bodies mother anyway." I said looking down at the ground, "so that's why you wanted to stay, you wanted to find out the truth about your past." She said, "yeah, and because I would feel guilty if I left my mommy. I know she lied to me my entire life, but I love her." I said, "alright sweetie I understand,and while it does hurt a bit to hear you call someone else mother lets get your training started." She said, I nodded and we began training till about one thirty in the morning.

"Wake up (y/n). If you don't wake up you'll miss breakfast." Blake said, I woke up and got out of Blake's bed, "*yawn* good morning Blake." I said groggily, Blake helped me get ready and then we went to the cafeteria to eat.

Blake POV 

I don't know why, but for some reason I feel like it's my duty to protect (y/n). It's not like the maternal feelings I have for Sky it's more like if he were my little brother or something. "MAMA!" Sky yelled as she jumped into my arms, "hi sweetheart, were you a good girl for daddy, Auntie Lucinda, Auntie Rose, and Uncle Aaron?" I asked, she nodded.

(y/n) and I walked through the breakfast line and then we walked to the table where my team, team FLAR, and team JNPR were sitting at. I sat next to Chris and (y/n) and Sky sat across from us, but eventually Sky came and sat next to me. I was happy that Pyrrha was sitting next to (y/n) so I could help my daughter eat her food and she could help (y/n) cut his pancakes.

After breakfast we all went to our classes. I took (y/n) with me and Sky went with Chris. She was upset at first, but she got over it when Chris gave her on of her favorite fish pastries. "Blake where are we going first?" (y/n) asked, "here's my schedule if you get lost or confused as to where were going look at that. And if you get lost find a teacher or a student who's willing to help you and show them the schedule, they should be able to take you to the correct place." I said as we walked to our first class.

(y/n) POV

It was about noon and it was time for my mommies class, but she was on a mission so I wondered who was going to teach the class.

I took a seat next to Blake in the classroom and waited for the teacher to arrive. "HELLO~!" A familiar voice said from the arena, 'wait that sounds like...' I thought, "my name is Rangiku Matsumoto and I'll be joining your class starting today!" She said, my entire body went pale and I began to sweat a lot, "(y/n) are you feeling alright you look a bit pale?" Blake asked, "y...yeah I'm fine." I said "Miss Matsumoto please take your seat." A man said, "hello I'm your substitute teacher, you can just call me Sōsuke I'm not too fond of being called Mr. or things like that."  he said, Rangiku walked up to the viewing area of the classroom. She took a seat next to me which only made me more nervous. "AWW what a cute kid! Is he yours?" Rangiku asked Blake, "no, while I would like it if he was, I already have a daughter and (y/n) already has a mother, but I treat him like family." Blake said as she ruffled my hair, I groaned apprehensively, Rangiku smiled a bit, "that's good I hope his mother is a kind person like you miss.." Rangiku said, "it's Blake, Blake Belladonna nice to meet you." Blake said as she got me a notebook and a few pens and pencils to draw with. I loved to design weapons hoping one day mommy will let me make one for myself one day.

"Ok lets start this class of with some sparing matches. The first match will be between Rangiku Matsumoto and Chris Fall." Sōsuke said as Chris and Rangiku got up, Chris opened a void and exited in the arena in his combat gear, while Rangiku went to a changing room and got prepared.

When Rangiku entered the arena she was dressed in a pink t-shirt and genes, her belt held her sword firmly against her hip. I ran to the edge of the viewing area to get a better view of the fight.

Rangiku POV

"So your Chris. I've heard a lot about you." I said, "oh, what have you heard?" He asked, "I heard you have a daughter, but shes not important right now. What is important is that your the strongest person here, but you never actually give any fight your best and that you fight with a dagger. But I heard a rumor that you have a sword as well. I'm a lot stronger than I look so don't hold back and use your sword." I said, he began to laugh, "fine but don't blame me if you get hurt." He said as he opened some sort of portal and the hilt of a sword appeared out of it, he took hold of the hilt and slashed behind him. He wielded a large black and dark purple blade, "this is Negistigma, most back down when I draw it." He said, I smirked, "this is going to be fun." I said as I drew Haineko. 

We rushed at each other, thanks to my soul reaper training I easily dodged and countered his attacks, or at least until his weapon changed into a scythe. It took everything I had to keep up with his attacks, if I wanted to stand any chance of winning I had to use my shikai. "GROWL HAINEKO!" I yelled and my blade turned to dust, "what the? What happened to your sword?!" Chris asked, I smirked "you shouldn't let your guard down!" I said as I attacked with Haineko from behind. I continued my assault until I heard a faint noise from behind me. I turned and saw (y/n) clenching the guard rail and holding his head as if he were in pain, when I looked a bit closer for a very brief second I saw his eyes were being enveloped by black tendrils and one of his irises was yellow while the other remained blue. He saw me looking and shook his head slightly telling me not to worry. I smiled then returned to my fight, I surrounded Chris in a tornado of Haineko's dust, "ha is that all you've got?!" he said as he slashed his scythe and dispelled the tornado. He rushed at me and hit me with the pole of his scythe knocking me out of the arena. "And that's the match Chris is the winner!" Sōsuke said, I returned Haineko to her blade form and exited the arena.

(y/n) POV

"(y/n) are you ok?" Rangiku asked, I nodded, "y...yeah I should be fine, but do you think you could train me to fight like you?" I asked, she nodded and then walked me back to my seat. 

I tugged on Blake's sleeve trying to get her attention, "hey Blake would it be ok if I hung out with Rangiku for a while?" I asked, "I don't have a problem with it as long as she is fine with it i don't see why not." Blake said, "I'd love to hang out with (y/n) besides I did say I'd train him." Rangiku said as she ruffled my hair.
