(y/n) POV

"Hey Uncle (y/n), can I talk to you for a sec?" Sky asked as she walked up to me, "Sure lets go to Blake's classroom it should be empty so we can talk in private." I said as I walked over to Blake's classroom.

"Uncle (y/n) I'm so sorry." Sky said as she sat down next to me, "What are you talking about Sky?" I asked, "I used your friends techniques against you in the tournament. I'm so sorry if I reminded you of what happened to them." She said, 'Oh yeah in this world everyone except Eve and I think their dead.' I thought, "No, no it's fine. I'm actually happy they taught those moves to you. In a way it's like your caring on their legacy." I said, she hugged me tightly, "I love you Uncle (y/n)." She said softly and walked out of the room. "So you ever gonna tell anyone the truth about team soul?" Eve asked as she closed the door behind her, "Probably not, I mean what would I say? Hey remember team soul? Yeah well they aren't dead their just in another dimension oh and by the way I'm pretty much a god and created this world." I said, "I see your point, but why do you still go visit their graves every year?" She asked, "To keep up appearances after all they were my friends." I said, "I see, and while we're on the topic what happened to that Nel person you told me about?" She asked, "I honestly have no idea, last time I heard anything about her was when Rukia left me that weird note. I never could read it." I said, "Why did she wright it in a code or something?" She asked, "Yeah, but it was also written in Japanese which I cant read, wright, speak, or understand." I said as I stood up, "Oh, well can you do me a favor?" She asked, "Sure what do you need?" I asked, "Do you think you can look for April for me? She ran off somewhere and no ones seen her since." She said, "Ok I'll do it, but you owe me." I said, "Do I at least get the girlfriend discount?" She asked, "You know it." I said as I walked out into the hallway.

After looking for about half an hour I found April sitting alone in the court yard. "April you ok?" I asked as I walked over to her, "Y...yeah I...I just um..." She stuttered, "Let me guess your shy around other people?" I asked, she nodded, "Well then why not tell me whats on your mind, I promise I wont tell anyone." I said, she sighed, "It's my mother, I'm worried that I'll never be strong enough to save her from my father." She said, "Why not get someone to help?" I asked, "Well that's actually part of the reason why I'm in Vale in the first place, I'm looking for my godmother Cinder Fall. From what I've heard she could help me." She said, "Wait you want Cinder? Well I cant say where she is or she'll probably kill me, but if you want I can help you." I said, "Thanks, but your no match for my dad, he was a mercenary for years." She said, "Wait your dad wouldn't happen to be Mercury Black would he?" I asked excitedly, "Y...yeah, how do you know my father?" She asked, "I'll explain later! Let's go!" I said as I dragged her to the apartment, "W...what's going on?!" She asked well were getting our gear and my bike, I need you to be my navigator." I said calmly.

"I...I'm ready." April said as she came out in her combat gear, which was a ninja outfit made of black kevlar, she had several ninja throwing knives on her belt, a katana, a few other weapons I couldn't even try to describe on her belt as well, and a large sword on her back.

"Wow do you think you need anymore weapons or are you good?" I joked, "Well I do have another weapon, but I feel like your gonna make fun of me for getting it." April said, "What really, no go ahead better safe and armed to the teeth than sorry." I said, she went back inside and grabbed a pistol like weapon. "This was my mom's she gave it to me when I left she said as she switched it to its kusarigama form.

"Anything else?" I asked, "Just some extra weapons, but I doubt I'll need them." April said as she jumped from the top of the stairs and landed on her feet on top of my bike. "Ok then lets go your navigating." I said as I got on, she hung onto me as we drove off.

About three or four hours later we arrived at her childhood home. "So what did he do?" I asked, she leaned in close to me and whispered off a list of all the horrible and disturbing things Mercury had done to her and her mother, "Oh my Oum, I...I don't think there is a punishment that could possibly work for most of that!" I said, 'Hell I don't even think Salem could punish him well enough!' I thought, I got off my bike and walked towards the house a bit, "HEY TIN MAN GET YOUR METAL SHORTS OUT HERE!" I yelled, "OK WHO'S THE IDIOT I'M ABOUT TO KILL?!" Mercury yelled as he ran out of the house, "Sup Merk long tome no beating." I said, "Oh great it's you, well where's Cinder I'll beat her too." He said, "Oh she's not with me but your daughter is." I said as a kunai knife, that was thrown from the nearby woods, flew past my head hitting the door frame just barely missing hitting Mercury. "Hugh she's gotten better." He said, "Yeah and I had no idea she was not only a ninja, but a weapon nut until today." I said, "The ninja thing she gets from me, the weapon thing is all her mother." He said, "Ok well we came her to kick your ass so." I said, suddenly he rushed at me and tried to kick me in the head, luckily I dodged him and drew Nexus. "GIVE ME BACK MY MOTHER!" April yelled as she ran out of the woods throwing kunais as she ran. Mercury dodged them with ease. When she ran out of kunai April drew her katana and slashed at Mercury, although she was a fare distance away a Mercury still dodged. Suddenly she slashed again this time while Mercury was in the air and slash of semisolid air slammed into him. "April is that your semblance?!" I asked, "Yeah it's air and wind manipulation." She said, I ran at Mercury and slashed at him as he fell. As the dust from his impact began to settle a shotgun fired and knocked Nexus from my hand. "That's it kids! I've entertained you for long enough!" Mercury yelled from inside the dust cloud.  April drew her Night Breeze and changed it into its shuriken form, she threw it at him, but he shot it out of the air. April then drew her Kusarihari and fired off several rounds before switching it to its kusarigama mode and rushed at him with the intent to kill. Mercury shot her in the stomach, but thanks to her kevlar she wasn't seriously hurt. Her large sword was knocked off her back as she was sent flying back. "(y...y/n) I... I don't think we can beat him." She said weakly, "We can beat him April, you did great. You gave me an opportunity to observe his movements and fighting style, and later I'll tell you why you couldn't beat him as you are." I said as I disattached my weapons, "What are you gonna fight me bare handed?" He asked cockily, I ignored him and grabbed April's large sword. "It's lighter than I expected." I said calmly as I drew the second blade, "Overdrive." I said calmly, all my faunus traits disappeared and my hair turned black, I rushed at him and cut his legs. I aimed for the area where the shotguns firing mechanisms were. I kicked him in the stomach and ran at him. I pinned him again a tree with the hidden blade against his chest and the large blade pointed at his throat. "This is your daughters blade not mine. SHE beat you not me! I only acted on her behalf, but if I EVER hear that you did anything to her or her mother I will kill you with my own sword. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!" I yelled, he growled in anger, "DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!" I yelled again as I moved the blade closer to his throat, "Yes." He finally said, "YES WHAT!" I yelled, "Yes sir." He said in defeat. I put the blades back together and handed them back to April. "Thank you so much (y/n) I...I don't know how I can repay you for this." She said, "You can repay me by hanging out with our team more. You're a good person and a lot of fun to be around so I want you to get more confidence and become more comfortable around people." I said as I reequipped my weapons. "So are you ready to go?" I asked as she retrieved the last of her gear, "Almost there is still someone I need to get." She said as she ran into the house, "She's not there is she?" I asked, "No her mother left about three years ago and I haven't seen or heard from her since." Mercury said as April ran out of the house in tears, "S...she left, I found her diary and learned that she was gonna abandon me! She was going to let me suffer while she got away!" She cried, I hugged her, "It's alright April we're here for you. We're more than just a team April, we're a family. A weird, barley functioning, highly dysfunctional on, but a family none the less and no one in my family gets left behind." I said as she cried into my chest.

A few hours later we finally made it back to the apartment. "And where the hell did you two go... in full combat gear and armed to the teeth... ok what did I miss?" Eve asked, "Nothing, just a bit of team bonding. I said, suddenly I felt April fall onto my back, "What happened is she ok?!" She asked worriedly, "She's fine, she just fell asleep is all." I said as I carried her up to her room, "Eve would you mind changing her out of her gear? I would do it myself, but I don't know if she's wearing anything underneath." I said, she nodded and followed me into April's room.
