Salem POV

"Melody, I would like to have a word with you." I said sternly, "Y...yes my lady." Melody said softly. The plan was simple all I had to do is ask her if she released Beelzebub while (y/n) listens in from the shadows.

We went to the throne room for our little chat. "Melody did you release Beelzebub onto Vale?" I asked calmly, she hesitated for a brief moment, "N...no my lady, I would never set a monster like that free!" Melody said, "Melody my dear I want to believe you, but I know you're lying to me." I said sternly, "Now tell me the truth, if not then I shall make your punishment far more severe." I said calmly, suddenly she broke down in tears, "I'm so sorry! I...I did think about releasing it a few times, but I never did! I knew that you loved (y/n) far more than you ever loved me, but I realized that as long as I was allowed to consider you as my mother none of that mattered. P...please forgive me my lady." She pleaded, "Melody if you didn't do it then who did?" I asked as I rubbed her back trying to calm her down, "I...I don't know my lady, but I know I'm not the only one who hated (y/n). If I had to guess I would say it was either Tyrian or Aizen." She said as she wiped some of her tears away. "Thank you Melody, now as punishment for lying to me you shall assist me and (y/n) in finding who released Beelzebub." I said, she nodded, "Yes my lady." She said happily. "Salem she has a point, if what you told me is true it couldn't have been Aizen since he wouldn't have any knowledge about where Beelzebub was being held." (y/n) said as he stepped out of the shadows, "You may be right my love, but he has a bad habit of discovering things he shouldn't." I said, "Umm, Lady Salem I might've told him where Beelzebub was. H...he said he wanted to study it." She said softly, I patted her head softly, "It's ok child, but next time please talk with me before you tell anyone our secrets ok." I said softly, "Lady Salem are you feeling alright? You're not acting like your usual self." She asked, "I'm fine child, this is how I always act!" I said as I pinched her cheeks.

(y/n) POV

"Are you ok Melody?" I asked, she nodded, "Yeah it just stings a bit." Melody said as she rubbed her right cheek, which was still a bit red after being pinched by Salem for a good five minutes or so, I felt bad for her so I decided to take pity on her. "Here Melody hop on." I said as I bent down to her height, "(y/n) what are you doing?" She asked, "Well it's kinda my fault that you got your cheeks pinched so I thought that I could make it up to you by carrying you on my back." I said, she began to blush a bit, "Why would you care about making things right with me?" She asked, "Well since Salem is kinda like your mom, then I guess in some way that kinda makes me like your dad in a way since I'm dating Salem." I said, "Yeah I guess, but you're also cheating on her with that stupid Eve girl!" She said, "Yeah, but she's not like me or Salem, she's mortal." I said calmly, suddenly Melody jumped onto my back, "I don't care about who you date, but please don't hurt Lady Salem she's the only family I have left." She said, "Wrong, now you've got your kinda sorta dad." I said as I stood back up, suddenly I heard Salem laugh behind me, "Well, well my love I had no idea that you wanted a family that badly." Salem teased, "Ok yeah, well jokes on you! If I wanted to have kids I would talk to Akame." I said, I soon realized that I had made a terrible mistake, "(y/n) my love who is this Akame person?!" Salem asked angrily, " Welp nothing I can say will make this better." I said, suddenly I kissed Salem on the lips hoping that she would forget what I had said. Much to no ones surprise it didn't work, "Well Melody time for plan B." I said, "And that would be??" She asked, "Run away. Run away and never look back." I said as I began to sprint down the hall.

Glynda POV

"Vanessa honey where is my son?!" I asked, she began to laugh nervously, "Glynda don't be mad, but... (y/n) mighta, kinda, sorta went to go see the the woman who told him about his curse." Vanessa said nervously, "Please don't divorce me." She said, "Vanessa let's get somethings straight, one were not married, two even if we were married I wouldn't divorce you over this, and three we are going to have a very long talk about what and where you let my son go without my permission when we get home." I said sternly. As I walked away I heard Vanessa sigh.

Vanessa POV

I walked over to my desk and opened the locked drawer. I usually just kept certain files, order forms, pictured of me and Glynda, and doctors notes. But as of recently I've been keeping something very special in there. I pulled out a small box and opened it, 'Well I guess I wont be proposing any time soon.' I thought as Glynda walked away, I accidentally let out a sigh.

(y/n) POV

"SALEM NO STOP IT!" I yelled as I ran up a wall to avoid getting hit by a fireball, "WHO THE HELL IS AKAME AND WHY WOULD YOU HAVE KIDS WITH HER AND NOT ME!!!" Salem yelled as she threw another fireball, "SHE'S JUST SOME GIRL I MET AT THE VITAL FESTIVAL! SHE AND I MADE A BET, which I by the way, WHERE IF SHE BEAT ME SHE WANTED TO HAVE AND I QUOTE MY 'CAT BABIES'!" I yelled as I jumped off the wall. "So your not cheating on me with a third woman?" She asked, "What of coarse not!" I said as I put Melody down and pulled out one of my phantoms and shot into some shadows. "COME ON OUT KISS ASS! No sense in lurking about now that we know your there." I said, suddenly Tyrian's tail flew out of the shadows at my head, I dodged and shot at the area where his tail came from.
