(y/n) POV

It's been a week since the festival has ended and some how in the wake of my triumph I'm completely miserable. "Honey can we have cat babies now?" Akame asked, "(Y/N) I SWEAR I WILL BEAT THE CURSE OUT OF YOU!" Eve said angrily, "Ok we have enough time for another match, any volunteers?" Ava asked, "I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE MISS WINTERS!" I said as I stood up, "Alright, (y/n) versus Raven then." Ava Said calmly.

I got my combat gear on, which consisted of two belts for my swords, cross holsters for my Phantoms, as for the hand scythes Salem made me they go on the back of the belts, my cloak, a pair of black leather combat gloves, a black shirt, and midnight blue jeans with a black chain attached to the right hip, Raven wore her usual blue and black armor (basically just substitute the red from Raven Branwen's armor with blue).  "You ready Blair." I said, I saw her blush a bit when I called her Blair, "Yeah how bout you?" She asked, I drew Salem's blade and took my combat stance, "I'll be sure to take it easy on you since your new to the class." I said smugly, "Oh shut it demon boy." She said as she drew Rune Scale and switched it to it's broad sword mode. The buzzer went off and Blair rushed at me I side stepped her and tapped her on the head with the pommel of my sword, "You left yourself open." I said as I ducked to avoid he next attack. I put the tip of my blade against her side, "And you would be dead." I said as I withdrew my sword. "SHUT UP!" She yelled as she switched her weapon to their gun mode and fired at me. 'Kill, kill, kill, KILL!' A voice echoed in my head as I blocked the bullets.

Raven POV

I stopped firing for a second to reload when (y/n) rushed at me. His eyes were completely black. I could feel his blood lust, I dodged his attack and switched my guns to their pole arm mode. I blocked his follow up attack and countered by splitting my weapon into its twin sword mode and hit him in the back of the head. He backed off a bit, I took the opportunity to kick him out of the arena. As he fell out of the arena he hit his head against the back wall knocking him out.

(y/n) POV

 "W...what happened?" I asked as I woke up, "Oh good your up!" Vanessa said, "Um Vanessa why am I handcuffed to the bed?" I asked, "Well, you kinda tried to kill Raven sweetie." She said as she took my shirt off, "Oh my!" She said in shock, "What's wrong?" I asked as I looked down, I saw what she was so shocked about, the black flame tattoo that was on my arm had appeared on the left side of my chest over my heart. "V...Vanessa I have to go!" I said, she nodded and uncuffed me, "Where are you going?" She asked, "To see the woman who told me about my curse. I think she might know more about this than she told me." I said as I put my shirt back on.

I drove to the private bullhead Salem had in Vale and took it back to her domain.

"SALEM!" I yelled as I stormed into the conference room, "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MY CURSE?!" I yelled, "How DARE you speak to the goddess like that!" Tyrian said, "Quiet kiss ass!" I said, "YOU INSOLENT-" He began to say as he tried to punch me, but was stopped by Salem raising her hand, "(y/n) darling what seem's to be the problem?" She asked, "What aren't you telling me?!" I asked, "(y/n) let's go to my room and discuss this in private." She said as she stood up.

"Oh (y/n) my love I thought you would never return!" Salem said as she pushed me onto the bed, "Salem I'm not here for that." I said, "Oh then why are you here my love?" She asked, I took my shirt off, "The black flame moved. What aren't you telling me?" I asked, she sighed, "You used overboost didn't you!" She said angrily, "Yeah, but only because you released Beelzebub on Vale!" I said, "You think that I would unleash that... That thing on Vale knowing that you could get hurt or worse?!" She said, "No, but Melody would!" I said, "M...Melody why would she do something like that?" She asked, "Because of me, I took you away from her." I said, I could tell Salem was mad since her eyes were glowing red, "(y/n) I think you're right, Melody has the means, motive, and opportunity to have released Beelzebub. I'll punish her, but first I would like to hear her out." She said as she got off of me.
