Eve POV

I was ready to kill my father for what he did to (y/n)! I walked up to the door and drew my fan sword Phoenix Wing. I kicked in the door, "DAD YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID!" I yelled, I ran into the living room and slashed at the chair dad was in, he dodged and generated a ice sword using his semblance. "Eve I don't know what this is about, but I'm not going to let you attack me with out putting up a fight!" He said, "A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AGO (Y/N) WAS KILLED! DON'T EVEN TRY TO DENY IT I KNOW YOU KILLED HIM!" I yelled as I used my semblance to set the blade of my sword on fire. I slashed at him wildly, he blocked my attacks effortlessly. 'At least my flames are melting his ice blade a bit.' I thought as I continued to attack. "ENOUGH!" He yelled as he used his semblance to generate several ice swords and launched them at me. I fell to the floor with several deep cuts all over my body. He raised his blade to finish me off, as he slashed down at me I closed my eyes and accepted my fate. When I didn't feel anything several moments later I opened my eyes and saw a hooded man in a black cloak wielding a black katana with a red center blocking my fathers blade. "Really Silver your going to kill your own daughter?! That's a new low even for you!" The man said as my father's blade shattered. My father created another blade and attacked the man who effortlessly dodged his attacks. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!" My father yelled as he slashed at the mans head, as the man ducked to avoid his attack his hood fell and revealed a familiar sight, "(y...y/n)?!" I said in shock, "Hey babe sorry if I scared you I had to go visit some family." He said, "W...what happened to your hair and where are your ears and tail?! And that sword I've never seen anything like it before!" I said, "I'll explain later, but for now just know that while I was gone I got a lot stronger." He said calmly.

Flashback (y/n) POV

"Salem I'm going back to Vale. I miss my family and Eve. I know that your going to say it's a bad idea, but in the end I'm more than likely going to be with you because of the curse." I said, Salem sighed, "Alright my love you can go, but please be careful." Salem said hesitantly, "Remember no matter what anyone says about me I am only doing what I feel is best for humanity." She said, "I know, plus they've never met you before so I wouldn't believe them any way." I said softly, she got up off her throne and pulled me into a deep passionate kiss, "You remember what I taught you about harnessing your curse right?" She asked as she pulled away from the kiss, "Yes I remember. First I focus on enhancing my natural abilities, then I say overdrive. That will in turn cause all my abilities to go past their limits. If overdrive isn't enough than I have accelerate which can push my abilities even further past their limits." I said, "And what will you not do?" She asked, "I will never go past accelerate. I will never use overboost." I said calmly, "Very good my love, now go before I change my mind." She said, I smiled and gave her a quick peck on the cheek.

I got on my bike and drove onto the bullhead and flew back to Vale. 'I'm finally going to see Eve again.' I thought as the bullhead took off. I looked out the window as we circled the castle and saw Salem standing outside.

Several hours later I arrived in Vale. I got on my bike and drove to Mom's house.

When I arrived at mom's house I opened the door and saw Vanessa crying at the table. "Vanessa what's wrong?" I asked, "(y...y/n)?" Vanessa asked, "H...how are you here?! You're supposed to be dead!" She said, "Vanessa what are you talking about?" I asked, suddenly her face developed a grim expression, "(y/n) I promise I'll explain later, but please you have to get over to Silver's place right now! Please you have to save Eve!" She said, I ran out and jumped onto my bike and drove off to Silver's house.

As I drove down the street I saw Silver was about to kill Eve. I sped up, activated my overdrive, and as I approached the house I pulled my hood up and jumped off my bike and crashed through a window. I ran as fast as I could and drew my sword and blocked Silver's attack.

End flashback (y/n) POV

"What happened to you kid?" Silver asked, "I mean don't get me wrong I couldn't care less about you, but I'm pretty sure faunus traits just don't disappear." He said, I sighed, "If you must know I'm cursed and in learning how to control my curse , without becoming E.N.D., I learned to use it in a new way. I call it overdrive, and I can take it two steps further with accelerate and overboost. But I can't use overboost without becoming E.N.D. so I don't use it." I said, "My faunus traits disappeared as a slight side affect, but I return to normal once overdrive is deactivated. That means my hair will go back to blonde and not black and my cat ears and tail will return." I said as I looked at Eve, she smiled at me, Silver created a second blade and took his combat stance. I sheathed my sword and drew my twin hand scythes, as I took my combat stance blue electricity sparked from both of the hand scythes and formed the blades. "Now Silver I don't want to fight you, mostly because I have a lot of explaining to do and I'd rather get that done all at once." I said, "Fine, but this isn't over!" He said, "Oh believe me I know, I still need to settle the score for what you did to me as a child." I said as I put my weapons away. "Come on Eve let's go." I said as I helped her up.

I had Eve gather everyone at mom's house so I could explain everything.

I took Eve with me on my bike and when we arrived at mom's house I saw everyone inside. We walked in and everyone looked shocked. Mom, Blake, and mama all ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "Sweetie what happened to you?! B...Blake found your dead body outside some night club!" Mama said as she cried, "Well I can't explain the dead body, but Uncle Oz kidnapped me and took me to Mistral. This whole time I've been trying to get back here." I said, "And what about your new cloths, weapons, and motorcycle?" Eve asked, "They were gifts. On my way back I came across a village with a grimm problem. I took care of it and they gave me the bike as a gift. As for the cloths and weapons, well I killed a mutant nuckelavee that was attacking a village and they gave me them as gifts for what I did." I said, no one questioned me or how I killed a mutant grimm, and a nuckelavee at that.

For the rest of the night we all had a welcome home party of sorts, it was nice. Ruby and Summer kept asking me about my weapons and how my hand scythes deployed their blades, but to be honest I really had no idea how they worked. After a few drinks Chris and Qrow scalded me, but mom, Blake, and Summer put an end to it quickly enough. Eve and I went out on the back deck to look at the stars. "Babe." Eve said, "Hm, whats up?" I asked, "Babe do you want to break up?" She asked, "What are you talking about?!" I asked in shock, we both sat up, 'Well your always either in the hospital or off doing something on your own! I just figured that you would be happier if we weren't a couple." She said softly, "Eve I love you, if I didn't have you than I think I would go insane." I said, she pulled me in close and pulled me into a long and deeply passionate kiss. "I love you, but I want to have at least some idea of where you are and what your doing." She said as we pulled away from the kiss. "Alright you win. I'll tell you what I'm doing and where I'm going unless I don't want you to know." I said as I lied back down on my lawn chair, Eve got up and lied down next to me, "Don't move, I want to feel your warmth." She said as she pulled herself closer to me. The light pink tips of her beautiful brown hair shown brilliantly in the dim light from the house, her midnight blue eyes seemed to sparkle under the light of the stars.

The next morning I woke up next to Eve still on the lawn chair, "Well good morning love bird." Blake said as she leaned against the the sliding glass door, "Hi Blake." I said as I got up carefully so I wouldn't wake Eve, "I have to talk to you about something important little brother." She said as she closed the door and handed me a cup of coffee, "Oh no you only make me coffee when you giving me bad news. Last time you did this you told me my dog died." I said as I took the coffee, "Yeah, but this is worse."She said as she sipped her coffee, "Your failing all your classes baby brother, but thanks to Glynda, Vanessa, Ava, and I we convinced all of your other teachers to agree to pass you." She said, "What's the catch?" I asked, "You have to win the Vital Festival." She said, "Blake do you have any idea how hard that will be?!" I asked in shock, "Yes I know, but it wasn't my idea, it was mom's. She has a lot of faith in your abilities, so tell me what your not telling her." She said, I sighed and sipped my coffee, "I knew I was gonna have to tell you eventually." I said, "I don't have any aura. I haven't had any since my fight with E.N.D. ten years ago. That's why I can't use my semblance and why I never put up my aura in a fight." I said, "(y/n) how could you keep this a secret?! Do you have any idea how dangerous it is for you to fight without aura!" She said angrily, "It's not because I have another secret. I'm cursed, I cant die, my wounds heal instantly, and I can tap into the power of E.N.D. to increase my abilities. Blake you can't tell anyone my secrets if anyone knew than no one would treat me like a normal person ever again!" I said, "I won't I promise." She said, "How long do I have to prepare?" I asked, "Two weeks, but someone in your team has to sit out and watch the Festival." She said, I nodded in agreement.

"Eve what happened to my night club?!" I asked in shock, my once dilapidated club has been completely remodeled, "What don't you like it?" She asked, "No, no I don't like it." I said, "WHAT! Why?!" She asked in shock, "Simple its too girly. Babe I'm re doing everything." I said, "Fine, but were keeping the couches." She pouted, "Yes, yes we are those were a good call. And were keeping the piano." I said, "Why the piano? I mean I only kept it because you it reminded me of the time you played for me and I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it, but why would you want to keep it?" She asked, "Simple because I like it." I said, "We're getting rid of it." Mom said as she walked into the club. "I'm here to tell you the ground rules, no drugs, and nothing illegal." Mom said, "THAT'S IT?" Eve and I said in shock, "Yep. Honestly I don't care how you two run this place as long as it makes me money." Mom said, 'Well at least she's honest ." I thought as she left.
