Matt, Jimmy, Zacky, and Synyster were suspended from school for a month. It was seriously no surprise about the suspension to their cousin Kaitlyn who felt as if they deserved it for their actions.

The main thing she enjoyed about them getting in trouble was how they reacted to her mom and dad yelling at them.

Matt always acted so tough and fearless, but when it came to him facing his Uncle Hunter he'd want to crawl under his bed and never come out.

For the rest of the guys, it was their Aunt Stephanie they were terrified of. That woman could lead an army by herself if she wanted to. She just had a way of intimidating you without even trying.

"We said we're sorry!" Jimmy cried, literally. With the lecture they were getting, who could blame them for shedding a few tears.

Zacky rubbed his watery eyes, "We didn't mean to put Dean in the hospital. It was just to get back at him."

"Get back at him for what?" Stephanie asked. Zacky looked at his brothers when he realized he just threw AJ under the bus. Stephanie grabbed Zacky by the collar of his shirt, "Answer me, young man!"

"AJ sicked us at Dean because he was trying to hook up with her and he already had a girlfriend!" Zacky confessed, in a panic.

"Dude!" Synyster yelled at him.

"I'm sorry but she scares me!"

Stephanie and Hunter sighed, "Do you really expect us to believe that AJ would put you up to something like that?" Hunter asked.

"No!" Matt answered, "She didn't. Dean got me mad so I told them to jump him with me. Zacky was just trying to cover for me. It was all my idea, Sir." he lied. There was no way he was going to let AJ take the blame for this, even if the plan was all her idea. Matt promised that he'd defend his sister at all costs even if it meant he had to take the blame.

Hunter looked at all the boys that were sitting on the couch, "Is that true, boys?"

They all nodded their heads.

"Oh you got to be kidding me!" Kaitlyn yelled, "Mom. Dad. What Zacky said was the-"

"How are you and your boyfriend doing Kaitlyn?" Synyster asked, knowing that Hunter and Stephanie had no idea about Kaitlyn's 18 year old boyfriend.

Hunter cocked his head, "Boyfriend?! Not on my watch, young lady. Boys, upstairs!"

"Yes, sir!" they all ran to Zacky's room and shut the door. Then they heard a knocking. Syn opened the door with caution.

It was AJ, "I heard you guys take the blame for me. How come?"

Syn closed the door behind them, "Cuz you're our lil sister, we have each others backs. You would have done the same for us, right?"

Ehhh... not if it meant getting yelled at by Aunt Steph and Uncle Hunter. "Yeah, of course." She lied. "I feel awful about getting you guys suspended though."

"Don't sweat it, Lee." Jimmy said, "That school sucks anyways. I don't mind getting a month off."

"But with us gone there's gonna be nobody to look out for you at school." Matt informed.

AJ grinned perkily, "I can handle my own."

AJ was sitting alone on the booths at the back of the cafeteria. She didn't care at all though, she'd rather be alone than make friends with any of these self centered morons. Especially, the thirsty guys who always hit on her.

Finding a way to ignore everyone around her, AJ grabbed her phone to listen to some music and took out a comic book to read. Her happy place was soon interrupted my Dean's ex-girlfriend Renee Young.

"We need to talk!" Renee angrily demanded, taking a seat across from AJ.

"Look, I don't know you and whatever happened between you a Douchebag Ambrose is none of my concern. So why don't you take your 99cent self and skedaddle on away from me. K?"

"Who do you think you are waltzing up in here thinking you're the queen bee? Last I checked you don't have any friends. You have no room to be acting like you're higher than everybody Cuz your aunt and uncle are filthy rich."

"I have no idea what you're talking about. Frankly, I don't give a damn. So, if you'll excuse me, I have guitar class to get to." AJ flipped her hair and packed her things.

Renee stood in front of AJ, not allowing her to leave. "Because of you Dean broke up with me. I don't get what he sees in you. You're just an average looking chick to me."

"I hate Dean. So if you're mad cuz you think that I'd be crazy enough to go out with him, then you are dumber than you look."

Renee raised her hand to slap AJ but she raised her arm, blocking Renee's hand from striking her face."Wanna try that again?"

Renee put her hand down, "I can see right through your little act. I know you like Dean. It's obvious." AJ's cheeks burned. Renee was right though. AJ still had a bit of a crush on Dean. "That's why you're blushing. You know I'm right. But why keep denying it?" she folded her arms.

"I don't have to tell you anything."

Renee chuckled, "Is it cuz if Dean did ask you out again you'd be afraid to say yes? Maybe cuz you're afraid your brothers will put him in the hospital again?"

It's like this bitch read my mind, "You need to stay in your lane and stay out of my business." AJ said, pushing her way past Renee.

"I would be a shame if your brothers kicked his ass and there was nothing you could do this time!" She yelled, as AJ walked out the doors

-Kaitlyn/AJ's room-

"I talked to Dean today." Kaitlyn said out of nowhere.

"And?" AJ really didn't seem to care, at least that's what she tried acting like.

"He seems really sorry about what he put you through." she admitted.

"Sometimes sorry isn't good enough, Kait. I don't like being lied to and i sure as hell won't tolerate being toyed with. He can apologize all he wants but he's dead to me." Even though AJ would never admit it, she still found Dean to be really attractive. She'd be lying if she said he couldn't make her blush.

Kaitlyn rolled up in her blankets and sighed loudly at her stubborn cousin. "I get why you're upset but I don't understand why this whole thing has made you so bitter."

AJ glared at Kaitlyn, "I'm not bitter. I'm just... shocked."

"I'm confused."

"For once the guys were right. I had no idea Dean was the way he is. I'm mad that I didn't see it coming. All I've been saying is 'I don't need you to protect me.' And look what happens when I try and be on my own."

"AJ, you're a big girl. You don't need the guys to constantly be watching you. You made a mistake, it happens. It's no big deal."

"It is a big deal! I want to be able to look out for myself and I proved that I can't."

"You're being ridiculous."

AJ scoffed, "Whatever. I don't even know why I'm telling you this." She flung the covers over her head and forced herself to sleep.

Renee: Why have you been avoiding me?

Dean: idk.

Renee: What you did really hurt me. I hope you know that.

Dean: whoops.

Renee: are you serious RN?! You broke my heart and all you have to say is whoops? Idk what I ever saw in you.

Dean: Likewise.

Renee: Even though you're being mean I'm going to let you in on a secret. I talked to AJ today.

Dean: What did she say?!

Renee: wow, that got your attention. She told me that she's only mean to you cuz she likes you.

Dean: I knew she liked me!

Renee: Maybe if you try and do something nice for her she might give you a chance.

Dean: Yeah! you're right!... Wait, why are you telling me this?

Renee: I still love you and I want you to be happy. If you like AJ then... go for it.

Dean: Wow... thanks

Renee: ur welcome. I gtg ttyl.

Dean: Bye.
