Matt called together a meeting in Jimmy's room. His brothers sat down on the bean bag chairs and waited for the announcement.

Matt breathed deeply, "Guys, I can't believe I'm saying this but, AJ needs to get back with Dean."

Synyster and Zacky started laughing, "That's funny. It sounded like you said AJ needs to get back with Dean." Syn looked at Matt and saw him with his arms crossed, "Oh shit. You were serious? But why? All this time we've tried getting rid of Ambrose, now he's gone. Isn't that problem solved?"

"Yes." Matt answered. "Wait, no! I don't trust Corey with AJ."

"You don't trust anybody with AJ." Jimmy said, "What else is new?"

"You guys don't understand."

"Matt, I'm done with all of this." Zacky argued, "I don't care who she goes out with anymore. Wether it be Dean, Corey, or a fucking chick. You just need to leave her alone."

"He's right, y'know." Syn agreed. "What AJ and Corey do is none of my business. I promised AJ that no matter what happens that I will let her handle it. And that's what I'm doing."

"You guys sound like you don't give a shit about what happens to her."

"Dude," Zacky rubbed his face with his gloved hands. "We'll always care about AJ, but that doesn't mean we're going to fix every problem she gets herself into."

"Jimmy." Matt turned to his younger brother, "Can you please tell Syn and Zacky how ridiculous they sound?"

Usually Jimmy would have done just that but Zacky and Syn had a point. "Sorry Matt. I actually agree with them. I love AJ and will always be there if she needs me. Only if she needs me." he emphasized that last sentence. "We already trust AJ enough to let her choose what she wants. Maybe you're the one who needs to learn how to let go."

"This has nothing to do with that! I don't have a problem letting her do whatever. What I have a problem with is letting her do something stupid that can be prevented."

Zacky shook his head, "Let her learn from it then. It's not our place to keep protecting her from every little thing."

"You guys don't understand." Matt tried getting through to them. "I promised Dean that we'd help break them up."

Synyster groaned loudly, "I love metal as much as the next guy but metalING is totally not my thing. You can count me out of that." he stood up then exited the room.

"Fine. I don't need you!"

Zacky looked at his brother then got up to leave too. "Sorry bro, this just isn't my business."

Matt leaned against the wall and scraped his hands over his eyes and hair. He looked straight and saw Jimmy still sitting there. "I see you're the only one with some sense around here."

"Actually... this is my room and I didn't feel like getting up." he explained. "But count me out."

"I can't believe you guys." Matt slammed the door on his way out. How much more stupid can these guys be?

AJ went out for breakfast with Paige, Bayley, and Carmella. They sat down in one of the booths and started looking over the IHOP menu's.

"I'm actually surprised that you wanted to come with us, AJ." Carmella said, looking through the menu.

"Yeah. I missed hanging out with you guys." she said. The truth was that she was scared to go hang out with Corey considering he might want to take her back to Marshall's sooner than they planned.

A waitress came over and wrote down the girls orders then took up the menu's.

"I have some news." Bayley sipped her Sprite.

"What is it?" Paige asked.

"We all know that Jimmy can't keep a secret, right?"

"Oh yeah!" they chuckled in agreement.

"He told me that Matt is planning on proposing to Becky really soon."

"Shut up!" Carmella shouted in excitement which made some stupid people shush her. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah! He said that Matt is planning something special though."

Paige put her hand over her chest, "That is so sweet. I wouldn't be able to say yes though."

"Why not?" they asked.

"I am way too young to get married. I give Becky props for being able to handle all of this."

"True." Carmella agreed, "I couldn't imagine being in her shoes. It's crazy how they've been able to keep it secret from everybody besides us. She doesn't even look pregnant."

They looked at AJ waiting for her to join the conversation. "So how have you and Corey been?" Bayley asked, trying to include her.

"We've been alright. I met his friends the other day."

"Cool. Are they nice?"

AJ shivered thinking back to Marilyn trying to shoot heroin into her veins, "Yup, they were some special people."

"He should invite them to hang out with us." Paige suggested, "You know how much I love meeting new people."

"They are actually really anti-social. I doubt they'd want to." AJ lied, not wanting her friends to know what kind of people she was hanging with.

"Aww," Paige pouted, "That sucks."

Finally their food arrived and they began eating. "You guys wanna go shopping after this?" Carmella suggested.

"Sure." they agreed. Once they were finished they payed for their meals and drove to the mall.

The girls went to the second floor and passed by Hot Topic. AJ gasped, "Guys! You brought me here just so you can meet Corey!"

"So? We introduced you to our boyfriends now you have to introduce us to yours." Carmella told her.

"You're all dating my brothers! I've known them all my life! This is completely different."

"He's waving at us!" Bayley freaked out, fixing her hair, "Does my ponytail look okay?"

"Lets go!" Paige ran into the store and leaned on the check out counter, "Hello." she smiled.

Corey smirked, "You seem awfully happy to see me. Paige, right?"

"How'd you know?"

"AJ's told me a lot about you."

Paige couldn't help but smile widely. Carmella bumped her to the side with her hip, "Do you know my name?"

Corey looked her over, "You're the one that likes leopard print so you've got to be the one and only Carmella."

Carmella couldn't help falling for his charm. Bayley just stood there awkwardly with heart eyes. "Hi." was all she was able to get out.

"Hi, Bayley." he winked, making her weak in the knees. "Your hair looks almost as great as you do."

AJ smacked her forehead, "Sorry about them. They were just super eager to meet you."

He shrugged, "I don't mind. They seem pretty cool. We still on for this weekend?"

AJ was internally screaming 'help me!', "Mhm. Can't wait." she lied. If only they knew what was going on so she could get herself out of this mess. AJ was just too embarrassed to tell them what she's stooped down to.

"Nice." he leaned close to her, kissing AJ on the lips, which made her friends squeal. "I gotta get back to work. I'll see you later."

AJ left the store and the rest of them followed behind her. Paige put her hands on her hips, "Now was that so bad?"

"Which part? When you guys were flirting with him or how I was tricked into coming over here."

"Don't be sour." Paige nudged her.

"Well now that you guys met him, what do you think?"

"He seems sweet." she answered.

"I like him." Carmella agreed, "He sure has a way with words."

"I had my doubts." Bayley began, "But you chose a keeper."

AJ smiled. "Glad you guys approve."

-Dean's POV-

It seriously irks me how AJ is with another guy and there's really not much I can do about it. Do I want to kick his ass? Hell yeah I do! But can I? No, cuz then AJ would hate me if I attacked him.

Might as well let Matt and the guys take care of this. That way she could hate them and not me if things get ugly.

Another thing that pisses me off is how AJ doesn't even talk to me at school anymore. She always did tell me that when it came to cutting somebody out of her life, that she was able to do it with ease. I just didn't think I'd be one of those people.

God, I hope the guys can break them up. I can tell that Corey is so wrong for her. Damn it! This fucking sucks!

When Corey was getting ready to close up there was one person that walked in. "Matt? What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Nothing, just here with my girlfriend. She's in... I don't what baby store but I kinda ditched her to come tell you something."

Corey put his hand on his chest, "Aww, I feel so special."

"How are you and my sister?"

Corey tensed up when Matt brought up AJ. He was beginning to wonder if AJ snitched about taking her to Marshall's house. "We're doing good, I guess."

"You guess?"

"Y'know. We have our differences but things work out." Corey finished cleaning up around the store. "Was that all you needed? Just to check if we're doing alright cuz I really wanna close up and go home."

"Oh yeah, my bad." Matt said, scratching the back of his head. "If AJ was sneaking around with other guys would you want me to tell you?"

Corey gave him a blank stare, "I would hope she wouldn't be doing that. If she was though, then yeah I would want you to say something."

"She made me swear not to tell you, but I caught her under the bleachers at school with some guy." he lied. "Just figured you should know."

Matt was surprised that Corey didn't get pissed. "Hm, I guess this is what I get for being 'the other guy' am I right?" he chuckled. "Gosh. Thanks for telling me. I wouldn't want to waste my time with somebody who was going around behind my back."

"You don't seem that angry about this."

Corey shrugged, "Shit happens. Can't get pissed about everything. I guess I could talk to her and see what she wants to do."

Matt panicked as he tried to find a way to not get caught in a lie, "Don't bring me into this, okay? The last thing I need is for AJ to find out that I snitched on her. In fact, don't even tell her about the whole bleacher thing cuz she'd figure out that I told."

Corey grabbed his black hoodie and keys from the counter, "Chill dude. I won't throw you under the bus like that. I could just tell her that I don't think things will work out between us. Problem solved."

Matt sighed in relief, "Cool. I gotta go find Becky before she notices that I disappeared."

"Alright. Tell your baby mama I said hi."

"Will do." Matt walked out of the store and pulled his phone out.
