-3 Months Later-

This past summer break had been fantastic for both Dean and AJ. The only people at the house were Stephanie and Hunter who were always in and out of the house and Kaitlyn. Bayley ended up going on tour with the boys because Jimmy didn't want her to be bored at the house. Even Carmella and Paige tagged along with them, seeing it as a cool road trip experience.

Today was the day the boys would come back and AJ and Dean would move. She didn't tell them about the news when she found out for obvious reasons. AJ didn't want her brothers to stress out while they were on the Warped Tour.

Her bags were packed in her room and she was saying goodbye to Kaitlyn. "You're gonna come to New York to visit right?"

"Are you insane! Of course I will. But since I'm from New Jersey I'm going to wear my I ❤ NJ shirt when I visit."

"Don't get jumped." AJ joked.

"When are you going to tell your brothers that you're moving?"

"As soon as the get back." AJ answered.

"Did they even know I was staying here?" Dean asked, pulling his luggage.

"Uhhh, no. They left before I was able to tell them."

The front doors bursted open and in ran the boys, Johnny, Carmella, Bayley, and Paige. "That was the most awesome time of my entire life!" Jimmy bounced up and down.

"I feel like an actual rockstar!" Johnny screamed.

"It's cuz we are!" Zacky and Synyster both yelled.

"Out of all the hotels we stayed in, they only trashed 2." Paige said, "You should have been there, AJ."

"Yeah," Bayley said, "I've never head banged that hard in my life."

"I felt like Enzo on speed during those concerts." Carmella laughed.

"Now we can actually take a break cuz I'm beat." Matt looked down at the floor and was the only one that noticed AJ's bags, "What are those for?"

AJ looked at her brothers and friends. "Well." she began, "I'm moving to New York with Dean. He has pent house up there that we're going to be living in."

Dean flinched, thinking that her brother were going to jump him. He was surprised how they all seemed really calm about it. "Did you guys hear her or you're just trying to hold back the urge to beat me up?"

"Oh we heard you." Matt answered. "I just can't get mad though cuz then I'd feel like a hypocrite."

"Why?" Kaitlyn asked.

"Because." he sighed, "Becky and I are moving to Seattle."

"Since when?" AJ asked.

"Since we talked about it over the phone while we were gone. We want to start a new life and thought it would be nice to just move away and be on our own with Jade."

"How come you didn't tell us?" Jimmy asked, obviously sounding really sad about his brother and sister moving away.

AJ tried finding the words to answer, "I wanted to. I just-"

"Didn't feel like it was the right time." Matt finished her sentence because he felt the same way.

"But you guys seriously should have said something as soon as you found out." Zacky said with a bit of sadness in his voice.

Paige elbowed Synyster to speak up. They were both whispering to one another which got the attention of the group. "Something you'd like to share with the class?" Johnny asked them.

"No." Syn lied.

"Yes." Paige answered.

Syn groaned, "Now I feel bad."

"That's why you should have said something once I told you."

Jimmy covered his mouth, "Oh gosh, not you too."

Syn nodded, "Paige and her family are going back to England and they offered me to stay with them." He admitted. "I'm sorry that I didn't say anything ahead of time."

"So, now all of you are leaving just like that?" Zacky asked, this time sounding a little pissed off. AJ and his brothers could understand though. They were all so close, now they're all finally breaking away from each other. It really hurt all of them.

"Zacky's right." Jimmy agreed, "The least you guys could have done is give us a heads up before leaving on the spot like that. Instead you decided to keep this a secret until you had to leave."

Matt, AJ, and Synyster looked down. "We're sorry." they apologized. "I didn't think it would be much of a big deal." Matt told them. "You guys seriously didn't think that we'd all be living together did you?"

Jimmy and Zacky looked at each other then didn't make eye contact with the group. "We knew we wouldn't. We just didn't think that everybody would be leaving once we came back from tour." Zacky explained.

Jimmy crossed his arms, "You guys just took us by surprise. One's moving to Seattle. The others moving to New York. And Syn is moving all the way to fucking England. How did you guys expect us to react to this?"

"Honestly," AJ scratched her head, "Worse than this."

Dean whispered in AJ's ear, "We're going to miss our flight if we don't leave right now."

She nodded, "I have to go. We can't be late." they both headed to the front door.

"Oh, that's nice." Jimmy said, "I don't even get a goodbye hug?"
AJ smiled and hugged her brother. "I'm gonna miss you, lil sis."

"You can always visit. And I promise to come back on occasions." AJ took a moment to hug her brothers and friends. "Bye you guys." she and Dean waved as they walked out the door and headed to the airport.

Zacky buried his hands in his pockets, "When are you guys leaving?" he asked.

"In a week." Synyster answered.

"This weekend." Matt said.

Zacky and Jimmy still seemed really bummed out. "At least you have us." Carmella and Bayley hugged them. The boys both smiled.

Jimmy put his arm around his girlfriend, "This feels like that moment on Scooby-Doo when everybody split up."

"On the bright side they all met up again." Zacky informed having a little bit of hope that one day all of them would be able to hang out again as a family.

"I have to start getting my stuff all packed." Syn groaned.

"I'll help you." Paige offered, going to his room.

Matt threw his head back, "It's like the traveling never ends." he whined going to his room to pack the rest of his things.

"Well, Jimmy. I guess it's just us now." Zacky told him.

Kaitlyn and Johnny cleared their throats. "Hello, we're still here."

Jimmy smacked his lips, "You don't count. Oh my god, I almost forgot. School starts next week."

"Sucks for you guys." Zacky laughed and threw himself on the couch and took a nap.

-Airport-

AJ stared out the window of the plane. She was really excited to be living with Dean but sad that she was parting away from her family.

"You okay?" Dean asked. She slightly nodded. "I know it's tough but you and I will finally be on our own. Isn't that what you wanted?"

"Of course it's what I wanted. It's just hard to let go, y'know? Most people can't wait to move out but my brothers and I are so close, and I'm really going to miss them."

"Yeah I know. It's kinda funny. When we first met you kinda hated your brothers. Now you're super attached."

AJ chuckled softly. "They've changed a lot since then. And so have I. For the better, I like to think. In a way they're like my best friends too. Back then they would have flipped shit that I was planning on moving in with you. Now-"

Dean cut her off, "They want you to be happy."

AJ smiled, "Being with you makes me the happiest person ever." she leaned in kissing him lightly, as the wheels to the plane lifted off the runway and they were off to their destination.
