Chapter 6: New Frontiers


(So I did both a coin toss & a randomizer to see what I would be doing for this chapter for question 2 of last chapter. The results are both A & B so stay tuned for some battles!)

It has been nine days since the battle with the fire nation & things have been busy with many events that happened. The first thing was I had named my new named queens Gaia who was a mix of many greens & Nova who was a mars red in color with some black mixed in,  as soon as I named them they both asked for a task from me which brings up the second thing that happened. The second thing that happened was thanks to all the bio energy I gain from the creep absorbing the remains of the fire nation soldiers,  I had order the creation of 18,350 Overlords(which generates 275,250 supply),50,000 drones,20,000 Zerglings, 800 queens(not named), 450 Roaches, 800 Hydralisks & 450 Mutalisks for units while using drones to morph into 5,000 Hatchery's,5,000 Extractors,4,000 creep tumors, 3,000 Spin & Spore Crawlers, 50 Spawning pools, Roach Warren's, Baneling Nests, Hydralisk Dens & Spires all over the island which brought it under zerg control.

The third & final big thing that happened was I had 6 days ago sent both Gaia with Zara along with 6,000 overlords that were filled with as many drones as possible before I sent them to Venus to start a hive cluster along with the hope of having a place to build my air forces for a while since if memory serves me right there should be no mobs that explode on venus. During that time all the girls but Leah went back to their village with a escort to explain what had happen to them since it was 3 month ago that they were taken by the slavers.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Leah called me over for breakfast which was apples with eggs & creep, as we sat down to eat I looked over Leah with concern look since she had told in privet that the family bond she had with her mother had been muted the whole time she & the girls were with the slavers before  I had saved them. As we eat, for a few minutes with speaking to each other before I ask " Leah...be honest with me, are you going to be alright?"Leah was silent for a while while she finished her meal but as soon as she was done she replied with " I'm fine Leo, its not the first time the bond has been muted after all I've had it since birth but I did not know of & felt it  until my shape shiftier ability's had activated when I turned 18" she then droped the matter but I knew she was worried, especially since Leah unlock her shiftier ability's awaken late since they mostly wake up around the 4-12 year old range. 

I quickly finished eating before I made my rounds around the primary hive cluster  before I made my way to the Evolution chamber since I wanted see if Bella had any upgrades she learned of since she analyze the DNA of the animals & mobs we had gathered a while ago but before I could enter the chamber I'd suddenly felt alarm over the hive mind. I quickly went into the mind of the zerg that had rang the alarm  which turned out to be a queen I had in the underground hive ,though her eyes did I not see the danger though at first I thought that with the amount of zerglings(3,000), Queens(120) & Spin crawlers(200) would be able to keep the underground hive save, but when I saw a massive hoard of mobs lead by a endermen with white eyes, I'd knew that I had to send backup. I ran to the mine with Raptorlings & Swarmlings ahead of me, moving like a blur down into the mine. By the time I started to make my way down into the mine, all 2,500 raptorlings along with 1,500 swarmlings were already in combat with the sounds of fighting echoing in the mine.

By the time I had gotten down there the battle was well underway with both mobs & zerg every where, I immediately use both Kinetic Blast & Crushing Grip to help out the zerg that are battling while using Mend to heal the wounded with the queens. For a while both sides were evenly matched with the mobs numbers but with the swarms hit & run tactics the battle was so far in favor of the swarm but suddenly I had heard screams of endermen before explosions rain out behind me & the queens.

I quickly glace back & saw the damage done before I checked with the system & saw that I had lost 400 hatchery's,2,000 zerglings & all 2,500  raptorlings I had in my swarm. I looked back to see white eyed enderman order around the mobs into a more organized force along with changing some of the zombies into what I can only call Super zombies.

The super zombies enter the battle & very quickly brought it to a stalemate  with them wounding many of the zerglings that remained. I was racking my brain trying to figure out a way to take out that enderman so my swarm could take out the mobs but thankfully reinforcements arrived in the forms of 8,000 zerglings, 150 roaches, 200 Hydralisks with Selena & Juno leading them into battle which gave me some breathing room to think of a plan. Quickly thinking of one using a new kind of zerg I have yet to make I'd mentally brought info on three zerg strains I have yet to make.

BanelingCost 60,000 bio-energy to make 1 from scratch.Costs 3,000 Bio Energy + 1 Zergling Per morph. Zerg Suicide acid attacker, explodes on contact.Spawn Time: 185 minutes(37 minutes Accelerated)

Aberration:Cost 125,000 Bio energy per.The aberration is a powerful infested terran variant with a resilient carapace and a lower half made of pincers.Spawn time 6 hours( 2 hours Accelerated)

Blade Queen:Cost 178,000 bio energy per. Zerg field commander,defender of the swarm, capability relative to stored Bio energy, can channel bio energy into attacks.Spawn Time: 9 hours(109 minutes Accelerated)

" Create 200 Aberrations, 50 blade queens & turn 1,000 zerglings into banelings" I ordered before using my personal bio energy to speed up the blade queens & banelings hatch rate,  the mobs see the eggs & cocoons before going after them, luckily the zerg have strong instincts especially the queens  so all the zerg acted as one to defend the eggs & cocoons with such vigor that 25% of the remaining mobs were cut down with a few minutes. I gave the banelings a quick glace & remember the information on them from my old world. 

"Banelings are created from zerglings following a brief chrysalis phase. In the new form, the zergling's claws shrivel and become withered, and a swollen sac filled with volatile chemicals grows out of its back. The zergling's skin is repurposed, stretching over newly formed growths while its bone plates soften to hold bulbous, pulsating acid sacs in place. Though the remains of the carapace offer no real protection, they allow for unhindered delivery of the baneling's payload. The digestive and reproductory tracts are assimilated as nutrients to accelerate the process, and make room for the fleshy, mutated adrenal glands. I was very impressed with how the banelings looked but I did not let that detract me as I look over to see what the blade queens looked like since I never heard of them in starcraft before but once or twice in fanfiction. As soon as I saw them I almost freaked out be keep a cool head at their appearance which I mean after all...... they look like the queen of blades if the queen was made from the ground up as Zerg with no human to use. 

I quickly used the hive mind to lead the troops into battle by prioritizing targets such as the super zombies & the normal enderman while myself & the ranged zerg would be taking out the regular mobs & the armored zerg will head to where they are needed.

Time skip:15 Days

The battle had been won but many zerg were wounded so the queens worked over time to take care of them, thankfully all the super zombies & the white eyed enderman were killed quickly thanks to the both the new zerg & reinforcements but it was not all good news. When the girls had returned from their village I was expecting some news that they found their people but the shocked to learn the village had be reduced to ruins during the time the girls were with the slavers but thankfully the did find a magic message that explained that the villagers had move into other villages to the north since it was to dangerous to stay do to increased mob attacks after the slavers left.  I was looking over some of the Aberrations that were all over the island & I must say that they are both huge & mean looking with their claws.

I have been waiting to gather a lot of bio energy to expand both the swarm on Minecraftia & expand the hive cluster on venus so I had alot of things to do but those will have to wait as I was planing to get some upgrades for the swarm. I entered the evolution chamber before greeting Bella who was waiting for me to hand out upgrade orders but before that I brought up what units,buildings & how much Bio energy I had to play with.

I looked over all the upgrades that fit both my units & buildings from the hive data base before I desided to buy all upgrades for my current basic units(which are drones,zerglings,overlords,Queens,Roachs,Hydralisks,Banelings & Mutalisk ) & will save the rest of the bio energy to make more zerg at Bella's recommendation.

Metabolic boost: Zerglings move 60% faster. Costs 30,000 Bio Energy.

Improved Overlords:Overlords morph instantly and provide 50% more supply: costs 400,000 bio energy.

Overseer Morph:The overlord can morph into an overseer, which becomes a detector. Costs 600,000 bio energy.

Antennae sense:Increased sight Range by 75%.Costs 90,000 bio energy

Spawn Drones:Able to spawn 6 Drones,ability cool down time 1 hour or 1 minute(in game time).Cost 20,000 bio energy.

Spawn Overlords:Able to spawn 8 overlords,ability cool down time 4 hour or 4 minute(in game time).Cost 40,000 bio energy.

Spawn Zerglings: Able to spawn 12 zerglings,ability cool down time 1 hour or 1 minute(in game time).Cost 90,000 bio energy.

Deep Tunnel:Roaches quickly burrow to a targeted location. Costs 200,000 bio energy.

Glial Reconstitution:Increases the movement speed of roaches by 33%.Costs 200,000 bio energy.

Tunneling Shell:Allows roaches to move while burrowed. Increases HP regen rate of burrowed roaches by 100%. Costs 210,000 bio energy.

Roach Evolution: Corpser Strain:Enemies damaged by the Roach will spawn two Roachlings if killed quickly.Recovered scantipede essence. Scantipede itself is unremarkable. Parasite is more interesting. Sequences allow roaches to inject microscopic parasites. Acidic saliva melts away flesh. Allows parasites to burrow within the host and gestate. Upon death, roachlings break free. Emerge from any available orifice. Extremely efficient. Cost 280,000 bio-energy.

Roach Evolution: Vile Strain:Attacks slow enemy movement and attack speeds by 75%.Heroes' unit movement and attack speeds are slowed by 20%.Toxic injection, successful. Adaptation has produced a powerful roach variant. Chemical byproducts of microbes altered compounds of acidic saliva. Constrictive agents will coat targets as roach attacks. As never layers apply, previous layers harden and tighten. Movement becomes difficult. Attacks less frequent. Debilitates enemies. Costs 280,000 bio-energy.

Ravager Morph:The roach can morph into a ravager, a large creature with the Corrosive Bile ability. Costs 240,000 bio energy.

Grooved Spines:Increases hydralisk attack range.Spine projectile, effective.Few alterations made since assimilation of slothien urticating bristles. Grooved spines, common evolution on battlefield. Can be introduced directly into the hydralisk template. Will increase aerodynamic properties of spines, allowing hydralisk to attack distant foes. Costs 280,000 bio energy.

Banelings:

Corrosive Acid:Doubles damage inflicted to primary target. Splash damage is unchanged.Damage output of baneling acids low. Room for improvement. Acidic compounds can be altered. Mutation of production cells within the membrane of acid sacs is required. Would increase acid potency two-fold, delivering significant damage to the target. Cost 600,000 bio energy

Rupture:Increases explosion radius by 50%.Current membrane toughness of acid sacs too low. Can restructure membranes, thicken. Will allow acid sacs to carry increased volume, improved radius of spray upon detonation. Will decrease likelihood that enemy survives inevitable rupture. Costs 650,000 bio energy.

Regenerative Acid: Baneling explosion heals allied units and structures.Discovery. Successful mutation of baneling acid spray, infused with debriding properties of swarm queen's transfusion. Upon detonation, acid spray dissolves necrotic tissue from injured zerg within radius. Allows wounded zerg to regenerate quickly. Costs 675,000 bio-energy.

Mutalisk:

Vicious Glave: Mutalisk's attacks bounce three more times. Attacks bounce further and do increased damage. Glave wurm symbiote, simple sequences. Ample room for improvement. Can mutate constitution of cartilaginous framework, amplify damage of impact. Will increase the number of targets affected by wurm before structure failure, disintegration. Costs 400,000 bio-energy.

Rapid Regeneration: Mutalisk regeneration increases to 10 HP per second when out of combat for at least 5 seconds. Mutalisk fragile, in need of improved survivability. Requires restructure of sequence down to core. When wounded, cells will activate, remodeling tissue to their original state. Rapid regeneration. Will require almost the entire focus of mutalisk, much exertion. Must devise instinctive aversion to use in combat. Dead mutalisks of minimal use. Costs 450,000 bio energy

Sundering Glave: Increases mutalisk attack damage +9 against armored targets. Attacks no longer hit multiple targets.Alternative configuration of glaive wurm possible. Similar constitution to baneling strain. Explosive. Will deal significant damage to a single enemy. Wurm is destroyed upon detonation. Subsequent collisions are impossible.Costs 800,000 bio-energy

In total the upgrades costed 6,535,000 bio energy which let me with 21,178,500 energy to use from the swarms reserves but if I need to I will add my energy reserves to the swarms to use. The first thing I did was ordered the creation of 100,000 overlords(Which gave me 1,500,000 supply) & have the go up into orbit so they did not cloud up the sky before I then order the creation of 26,240 drones,1,000 roaches, 1,000 hydralisk's & 286 mutalisk  before having my zerg patrol round the territory of the swarm then I looked over to see how much bio energy I had left & had to wince at the amount.

With the bio energy left in storage I could not do much to make buildings but I had the idea to use my overmind ability's to make the buildings in question. But it had been a while since I used some of my ability's so I'd brought up my ability screen & my person bio energy reserves mentally so I could review them since I did get some new & updated ability's.

Spawn Drones:Summon 2 drones per 20 bio energy, 20 min cool down.

Spawn Overlords:Summon 2 overlords,cost 100 bio energy- 6 hour cool down.

Kinetic Blast:Users fires a strong blast from long range at a target dealing 300 damage to it .The cool down time is 3 minutes. Costs 50 bio energy per shot.

Crushing Grip:Stuns all targets in the target area and deals 30 damage over a few seconds. Cool down is 10 seconds.Costs 50 bio energy.

Leaping Strike: Overmind leaps at their target and deals 150 damage. Can be used without a target to travel quickly. Cost 100 bio energy.

Psionic Shift: Overmind dashes through enemies dealing 50 damage to all enemies in their path. Costs 100 bio energy.

Mend:Able to heal near zerg units and builds for 50 life,heals overmind for 150 health, speeds regeneration of all nearby zerg by 50 for 30 seconds.

Passive:

Zerg breeder:Passive: zerg leader can mate with any and all female beings.

Regeneration:passive:heals anything not fatal, but takes time for more serious injuries.

Anaerobic:Passive:no longer needs a breathable atmosphere to survive.

Tem resistance:Passive: able to survive between -450 to 118F.

Bio regen:Passive: reg .5 bio energy per second.

Heroic Fortitude: Overmind regens Heal and bio energy 100% faster.

Chain Reaction: Overmind attacks deal normal damage to their target, then jump to additional nearby enemies. Deal 10 damage to up to 4 secondary targets.

Forced Growth: Overmind can feed a growing zerg unit or building bio energy to make them grow faster.

Bio Generator: Overmind regens 8,000 bio energy per 4 minutes.

Photographic memory: Overmind is able to have a complete record of memories that can be viewed at any time.

Improved Overlords:Overlords morph instantly and provides 50% more supply.

Zergling Reconstitution: Cooldown:30 seconds.Killed Zerglings respawn from the closest Hatchery at no cost. Respawns up to 10 Zerglings every 30 seconds until all Zerglings have returned to life.

I used 500,000 bio energy to make 5,000 Hatchery's located near where the fire nation had their camps then used some energy to make them grow fast which thankfully did not take much given the current evolution stage I was in. I then transferred all my bio energy into the swarm reserves before having 15 hatchery's morph into lairs  & walked over to the lake to do some mediation  for a hour to pass the time while my bio energy regenerates, I mean after all if I reg .5 energy per second,8,000 bio energy per 4 minute & at a 100% faster rate... then I can start my plans to have more lairs by gathering energy.

Time skip 1 hour

I came out of meditation after a hour had passed thanks to a zergling nudging me, I stood up  stretching before I looked at my reserves & saw that I had 334,400 bio energy  which I transferred into the swarm reserves for by big expansion in the very near future. 

Time skip: 15 days.

Swarm Bio energy:64,220,250

I was very shocked at how much energy I had to play with but it confused me since given my current reserves was add to the swarms when it hit the max amount & the amount bio energy the swarm generates per day it should be around 42,000,000 energy not over 64,000,000. I could not figure out the reason until I as contacted over the hive mind by Gaia & Zara who were giving me a update of how the hive on venus was going. I was confused since they were supposed to contact me 6 days ago but they did not so when they did I question them on why they were late, they were quite for a few moments before they showed me how their hive was looking.

I was shocked on how large the venus swarm was since to grow this massive, Gaia & Zara had to use massive amount of bio energy which explains why the venus hive as so much extractors, due to the gases on venus it was practically a rich supply of free bio energy. I deside the first thing to do with the swarm bio energy was to have Gaia & Zara create about 1,000 Mutalisk's to start the beginning of my space forces, soon I watched 35,000,000 energy got used up to make the mutalisks on venus. I had 29,220,250 energy to play with so the second thing I used the energy for was  turning 12,000 hatchery's into lairs so I had both more lava & creep to use & had 20,000 drones turn into hatchery's along the coast line which left me with 7,220,250 bio energy.

Before I could deside what to use the rest of the bio energy for, Selena contacted me through the hive mind." Overmind there are 5 strange portals appearing of the coast with land mass below them & strange mobs are coming out in droves & art attack the hatchery's  closest to the portals." Selena told before before showing me images that I recognized as Piglin's & wither skeletons.

Thinking fast I order the creation of 21,000 Swarmlings & sped up of their growth before sending them to attack the mobs while I had used all the remaining bio energy in the swarm reserves to create 7,500 Hydralisks,Roaches,queens & 500,000 Zerglings. As soon as the first troops were made I sent them as a escort for the Baneling's I still had in my swarm to the battle field which was complete chaos as mob kept coming through the portals with no signs of slowing down, I also had the bodys of the dead piglin's back to the Evolution chamber at the main hive but it was a mistake on my part not creating more when I had the energy.

Due to the size of the island it took 30 minutes for the escort to reach the battle even with the zerg units  running on the creep but when the escort did get to the battle, the tide turned for the swarm so fast that within 3 minutes that the baneling's  destroyed most of the portals with groups of banelings entering the portals before the acid destroyed them completely. The mods fought hard to defend the last of the portals with everything they had but thanks to Selena's leadership, the mobs & portals were quickly destroyed but much had to be done to keep the island safe.

Time skip: Nightfall

I was sitting on my creep bed in my first lair going over some memory's through the hive mind, I'd was looking for a newby planet that had both plant & animal life so I could send some zerg there to both start up a hive & to gather essence. I was taken out of my search when Selena,Juno & Zara entered my lair, I asked them what is it that they need & when they told me that they need me with a sex crazed look & the doors to the lair closed up I knew right then..... I was not going to get a good night sleep.

That's the end of this chapter readers, sorry it came out late but 3-4 weeks ago I had most of the chapter done but when I went over to my uncles house & help him with by dad & grandpa later in the afternoon, my grandpa(who was quick on the trigger) accidentally smashed my right hand with a log splinter. Thankfully I had my hand in a way that it did not effect the whole hand but I still had my 3 middle fingers all black & blue, it took 2 weeks for the color to comeback & another week for me to be able to type on the computer using that hand. Any way hope you guys are have a nice safe week & a safe Halloween, I will take a few days off before the nice big book on my page is getting it's next chapter  but can you guys vote on which story you want up dated next out of these 4.
