Gnarl Narrates: Eons ago, after the brother god creatures left this world on it's own devices left to fend itself from Salem who has such a tragic story and so easily turned a blind eye to the world simply because her boy toy was dead, and then he left her, ooh I do love that part. Anyways, she got used to racking up the bodies and destruction she leaves in her wake and manages to create her circle of puppets she has conned and manipulate on false promises.

While I do love her style and how she is grown on me, she and those ugly animals and beasts are not the TRUE evil of the world, it all started when I mentioned the destruction she left in her wake? Well, one of those villages happens to belong to HIS home, he was hated sure, but the only thing he did care about was this poor girl that was his friend before she and the rest of the villagers were destroyed by the beasts called the Grimm, and HE only survived because of his wit and his hidden dark powers he snuffled those pesky creatures, and he was guided by the minions the little imps that were the Browns.

He got side tracked and he then rescued the Yeti as he and the Yeti, were frozen by the lake, luckily we used the dark tower to bring him to us and since then he has been honing his craft, developed a strong body that would that muscle thick head Hercules to rest, and his magic, oh my evil heart, his magic was growing in power over the course he has been here and we have been watching and waiting, for the moment to strike, the moment where the world will know TRUE EVIL, as it feel the might of our lord, our ruler of this world, as he will unleashed the minions of WAR upon anyone that stands in our way.

And the Overlord, he will exact his revenge upon Salem, he will then grow our dark kingdom much stronger and will make our army to more than just the minions, we even have different varieties of tamed animals that will ride our minions into battle, and he will take ANY women of this world to be his harem or give them to the minions to use and breed them for our purposes, for all we have to do is wait for that moment to arisen, after all, Evil always finds a way.

Somewhere down in the dark corners of the world...

It has always been quite in the dark tower, always waiting and watching for the moment to arrive, in the chambers Gnarl was reading some old scrolls until he heard someone calling.

"Gnarl! Gnarl, you better come now!" The imp minion barge through doors, panting heavily this made Gnarl snarl at the minion.

"What in the name of evils is it that you would disturb my peace?!" Gnarl demanded from the frightened minion as he is catching up his breathing.

"For.. forgive me, but, but the kingdoms! They are under siege by the Grimm!" The minion answered, this made Gnarl stared in surprise and then he grabbed his scroll in hand.

"Then don't just stand there you simpleton! Show me!" Gnarl demanded as he the minion left his studies and head to the deepest part of the tower.

They hedge hiked on one of the floating magic rocks and it took them to the minion lairs and the minion led Gnarl to the small gathering of different colored minions as they looked at the river as Gnarl brush them out of the way and sees what made Gnarl smiling evilly and Gnarl look back at the rest of the minions.

"I will inform the Overlord of this wondrous news!" Gnarl yelled ecstatic as the minions are all clattering and shouts happily as some of them were jumping up and down as they all knew what it means.

After leaving the minion lairs, Gnarl approaching the throne room, where small minion servants had been cleaning up the place and Gnarl then now got on one knee before the Overlord as he is just sitting on the throne.

"Master, are you awake?" Gnarl asked, shaking as he is ever humble to be in his presence and to be his adviser, but no answer until the Overlord opens his golden eyes.

"Master, I'm sorry to disturb you, but I have great news to report." Gnarl says to the Overlord as he is listening attentively.

"The Grimm, those ugly beasts of the slut, have been commanded to attack one of the kingdoms called the Vale, it's Beacon Academy, and the city is being attacked not just Grimm but those Faunas the White Fang, why they are working together I do not know, but this means one thing my evil lord." Gnarl explains with an evil smile he barely holds back his amusement, as he looks up at his lord.

The moment he says it, the silence was ominously, until the noise are filled by the minions that have entered the throne those on the ground floor and those on the upper level of the throne all chanting one word.

"WAR! WAR! WAR! WAR! WAR! WAR! WAR!" Minions upon minions throughout the tower are all chanting the same word.

"It's time to make our move. It's time, for WAR!" Gnarl yelled as the minions all shouting in an agreement as the continued to chant.

They all stop, when the Overlord sighed heavily and stood up from his throne.

"Finally."

Somewhere in Vale...

"Do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked, as she is on her one knee defeated at the hands of Cinder Fall, her eyes narrowed at Pyrrha.

"...Yes, I do. And you won't be around to my destiny fulfilled." Cinder answered as she pointed her arrow at Pyrrha.

Ruby Rose whooshed at the top just in time to see what is about to happen.

"PYRRHA!" Ruby hollers as she makes an attempt to use her semblance to make her run faster in hopes to save her friend but Cinder has already shot her arrow at Pyrrha with a smirk on her face.

Pyrrha's life flashed before her eyes and before she knew it, she didn't feel anything so she opened her eyes and was shocked to see the arrow floating in front of her and Ruby was able to dash her away from the arrow and Ruby looks at her.

"Pyrrha, are you ok?!" Ruby asks her friend, she nodded and they looked at the arrow still floating as Cinder is just as shocked by this.

"What in the name of brothers, is happening?!" Cinder demands but Pyrrha and Ruby has no answer then suddenly the arrow disintegrate turns to ash, they then felt a shiver down their spines, as they feel something coming.

Elsewhere down the city, the defenders just felt the same shivers, Goodwhich, Ironwood, the teams of huntsmen and huntresses, and Qrow all felt it.

"What is this feeling?!" Qrow asked as he had never felt it before, and he wasn't the only one that feels it.

Teams of remaining JNPR and RWBY, they felt the same dreadful feeling.

"What... what is this feeling?!" Weiss asked, anyone to answer but no one has the answer not even the remaining villains.

Emerald, Neo and Mercury have been on their knees shaking in the ominous presence that is coming with the clouds darkening and thunder and lightning raging in the skies.

"Maybe... it's her?" Mercury wonders, but Emerald shook her head.

"No.. it's not Salem, THIS, this is something much worse." Emerald stated with experience as she hoped Cinder is not caught up to whatever is coming.

Back at the dark castle of Salem...

Emerald was right, as the creatures of Grimm were shaking in fear of something as are her inner circle of allies, Salem eyes narrowed as she couldn't believe it either.

"I have NEVER, felt anything like this. What is this?! I have never felt a shiver of dread from anything or anyone! So, who the hell is doing this?!" Salem shouted, as she won't get a answer so she turned to the well, and find where the presence is coming from, and she sees her creatures attacking Vale, Beacon Academy but then her eyes widened as she found where the source is coming.

"What the FUCK is this?!" Salem hollered as she is seeing what is happening in Vale, the presence of ominous is showing up in.

Back in Vale and Beacon Academy...

The citizens, the teams of huntsmen and huntresses, the teachers, Atlas soldiers, were all looking at the clouds lighting and thunder raging and the creatures of the Grimm were all afraid, and they have NEVER seen Grimm afraid of anything.

Then suddenly they felt a tremendous earthquake and then thunder struck the center plaza of the city and everyone even the Grimm got away and they see a ancient structure pops up from underground and appears to be a gate with enormous blue magic surrounding it.

Then there are four spawns holes, popping from underground too and it surrounding the gate and the Grimm whimpering and the people were anxiously waiting for whatever it is coming out.

Cinder, Pyrrha and Ruby all looking down at the structure and Ruby looks at Cinder, angry.

"Whatever you are doing, stop this!" Ruby demanded as Cinder stares back at Ruby.

"I am not doing this! Back off, child." Cinder warns her, as she and Cinder are about to fight Pyrrha grabs their attention.

"Guys look! There's something coming out!" They look at the structure and see what is appearing out from it.

The gate is exploding powerful magic and soon enough it suddenly burst and dies down revealing a dark armored knight with a mysterious and evil presence and its weapon of an ax is huge and has a large gauntlet with magic surged in it and he walks slowly menacing showing and the Grimm cowering before him and the people notice this.

"This, is what they were afraid of?" Ironwood questions as he and his colleagues noticed this.

"There's no doubt about it, because we ALL feeling it coming from him." Qrow stated as he gripped his scythe hard.

"Just what does he want?" Goodwitch asked, but she won't have to wait very long.

The dark knight steps out of the gate, standing in front of the Grimm, with the people watching, and the knight eyes glowing menacing as there is evil intentions going on in his mind, and he makes one action, and that's raising his gauntlet in the air.

Dark magic shot out from his gauntlet and in the skies and clouds raging in several lighting's and gate now powers up by the lighting surge with magic and as bursts something else came out of the gate and even the spawns as they been popping out multiple imps different colors and different shapes and most are wearing strange armor and weapons.

"MINIONS, ATTACK IN THE NAME OF THE OVERLORD!" One of the imps yelled as the minions charged at the Grimm and the people were screaming as the defenders gets the citizens out of here.

"Ironwood, have your men get these people on the ships and boats, now!" Goodwitch tells Ironwood as he, and his men start to evacuate the people out of vale as they were almost done anyway before all of this.

The minions were showing strength in numbers, as the Green minions were using stealth attacks and stabbing on the Grimm, the Red minions were showing off fire powers burning the Grimm down, while several of the minions were getting killed they were then being brought back to life by the Blue minions, the Brown minions were showing a military war tactics as warriors as they chopping down against the Grimm that were bigger than them.

All the while, the dark knight, the Overlord, watched from the position he was standing and he sees several Grimm gorillas and Grimm werewolves coming at him, but he didn't give them fear but instead he as a massive size and ax and swings the ax with quick movement cutting down the Grimm werewolves and one Grimm gorilla, as the last one pound it's chest and it tried to slam its arms down, but the Overlord didn't flinch from impact instead gives the Grimm a dark look and then shoots dark magic lighting from its gauntlet at the Grimm gorilla as it disintegrate into ash as the dark energy from the corpse flows into the Overlord's gauntlet.

The docks is getting filled with scared people trying to get into the boats, while the guards are not having any Grimm or Minions at them, they can clearly see that they are more focused on killing the Grimm.

"We need to get out of here as soon as the boats are ready." Ren tells his friends, Jaune shook his head as well as Yang being injured losing an arm.

"I'm not leaving Pyrrha!" Jaune tells him.

"And my sister is out there too!" Yang says, as Blake holds her steady.

"Weiss is looking out for them, she was with Ruby helping her to get to Pyrrha. They will be fine." Blake reassures them, as truthfully she is scared because of what just showed up in the city and she hopes her friends are safe out there.

With Weiss on the other hand, she is forced to be taken away into a airship by the soldiers of Atlas, most likely to take her to father, and with Winter by her side, she has no choice but to comply as she hopes that Ruby and Pyrrha are doing well, as the airship takes off to the kingdom of Atlas.

Meanwhile with the trio on the top of the tower, they watch what is happening in the city, explosions having, Grimm getting burned, some of the Minions were blown to pieces, there is carnage going on in Vale.

"What the hell are those imps?! And how are they doing these things to do Grimm?! This can't be happening!" Cinder yelled as she was in disbelief and the Huntresses don't have an answer to that but then, they were taken aback by the sudden lightning struck on the tower.

As the lighting disappeared and revealed the dark knight Overlord, and his 50 minions on his left and right, the trio was shocked and intimidated by the sight of the Overlord and the chatter minions.

"The imps.. their presence is evil, but they look cute." Ruby says, as she notices the looks of the minions, and she and Pyrrha were eerie of the looks the minions are looking at them.

"Cleary, they have no boundaries or hide their intentions or the looks they are giving out." Pyrrha added, as she is unarmed without her spear and holding her shield as the minions are showing exactly as she said.

Cinder steps in front of them, showing no backing down as she pulls out her bow loaded her arrow to aim at the Overlord, the minions stepping in to take the hit, but the Overlord wave his gauntlet as if they understood, the minions step away letting the Overlord to handle this.

"Is he.. controlling them with his gauntlet?" Ruby asked Pyrrha, but she didn't get to answer as Cinder has already started to shoot her arrow.

And when the arrow was about to hit him in the head, he stood there and the arrow stopped in its tracks floating, Cinder and the huntresses was shocked by this.

"Im.. impossible!" Cinder stated in a shock, as the arrow floats in midair and then the Overlord flicked his fingers and it disintegrated.

Cinder then narrowed her eyes, fire swirled into her eyelids and she charged at him, as she got her glass blade weapons in hand.

The Overlord is not flinching nor would the minions interfere, as Cinder started to engage the Overlord and no matter how many attacks she makes, the Overlord is not making a scratch from her and then he backhand her away and she flies in air and conjures fire in her palms and launches it towards the Overlord but he raises his gauntlet and then a force bubble shield surrounds him and the fireball hits it and then as the smoke clears, the Overlord is unharmed as the bubble shield powers down and the Overlord looks unimpressed.

Cinder couldn't believe it, her powers of one of the maidens she stole didn't do anything to him, but she gritting her teeth and flies down at him to reassume her assault.

Ruby turned to Pyrrha, grabbing a hold on her shoulders.

"Let's get out of here Pyrrha, while they are fighting, we can get out of here." Ruby tells her of a sound idea.

Pyrrha wanted to argue with her, because she came to the top of the tower to stop her, but she wasn't strong enough and she doesn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth in the form of the dark knight as he's a different league on his own clearly so she nod her head.

"Ok, let's get out of here then." Pyrrha replies back to her, as Ruby was about to use her semblance to speed her and Pyrrha out of here, a sudden fire blast blows them apart from each other.

"PYRRHA!!" Ruby yelling for her friend as she was blown off the rooftop of the tower.

"RUBY!!!" Pyrrha yelled for her friend as she was roughly landed across the ground as she wobbly gets to her knees as she looked up to the cause and saw a Grimm Wyvern.

Pyrrha watched in horror, as she almost thought its going to kill her, but then it's face was hit by a bolt of lightning, it screeching in pain, Pyrrha was confused by this and turns around to see where it comes from.

The Overlord who hand its gauntlet power up for a moment and lowers it and reveals that he is holding on a beaten Cinder Fall in his hand and drops her to the ground still alive and walks forward with his minions at the ready passing Pyrrha, as she watches what he is doing.

The Overlord stands and unsheathed his ax, as the Grimm Wyvern still has the burns on its face and roars at him, the Overlord just raises his ax and points it at the monster.

"AS THE OVERLORD COMMANDS, MINIONS WILL SEE IT DONE! ATTACK THE SCARRY DRAGON!!" One of the Brown Minions yells, as the minions charged at the Grimm Wyvern surrounded it, as Pyrrha couldn't believe what is happening before her.

She sees the Browns surrounded the Wyvern grabbing its attention while trying to not get eaten by its big jaws, the greens are sneaking up on the Wyvern back and starting to stabbing as it screeching in pain as Pyrrha noted that the greens blades were cloaked in poison, the red were using their fire powers to shoot the wings of the Wyvern as it couldn't handle the pain of its wings being burned, as for the blues they didn't do much other than healing the wounds of the minions and even brought some of them back to life.

Pyrrha has seen soldiers worked in a group of teamwork such like that of the huntsmen and huntresses, but this, the minions are displayed something that not even the soldiers of Atlas could do.

The minions then backed away as the Wyvern is barely holding itself together as it notices the Overlord charging at him, it breathes fire at him but the Overlord uses the bubble shield to protect himself and as the smoke clears the Overlord powers down the shield and as the Wyvern tries to take a bite the Overlord dogged the jaw and uses his ax and swung it down on its neck hard and the Wyvern loses its head as gore pouring out from what once has a head, its body limed, and drops dead.

The minions celebrating as the Wyvern is dead, as Pyrrha couldn't believe how effortless it was for this dark knight to kill it, then the Overlord raised his gauntlet and shoots lightning magic at the body and this confuses Pyrrha as the dark energy of the corpse is now flowing through his gauntlet and then once his work is done, the body is now bones and no corruption in it.

Then Pyrrha was hold in check against her will by the minions trying to escape, then she was approached by the dark knight, as it stares straight at her.

"W... Who are you? What are you?" Pyrrha asked as his stares is unsettling for her, then before she knew it, she was then knocked unconscious.

Back to the docks...

Ruby slowly opened her eyes and noticed she is surrounded by her friends and her sister.

"Y... Yang? Guys?" Ruby wonders, as Yang hugged her sister tightly.

"Thank the gods, we thought you were dead." Yang said as Jaune, his remaining team surrounded her.

"What happened?" Ruby asked her friends as she got herself untangled by her sister's hug.

"Your uncle Qrow found you by the door of the school unconscious, and brought you here to the docks just in time too. As we were taking off with the city under fire." Ren explained to her, as Ruby's eyes widened as she remembered.

"Pyrrha.. I was.. I was right there next to her." Ruby says to her friends and Jaune's eyes widened in worry.

"What happened Ruby? Where is she?" Jaune asked her, as Ruby took a moment to explain to them of what happened on the tower.

"So.. she's alive then." Jaune said with hope filled his eyes and Ruby nodded her head, as Yang comforted her.

"But wait, where's Weiss? And Blake?" Ruby asked, Yang's eyes were bitter at the name of her partner Blake.

"We just found out that Weiss was taken away on airship heading off to Atlas, to her father. And as for Blake.. we don't know." Ren explained to her as Ruby was confused about the last part.

"It doesn't matter about BLAKE, what matters is what the hell are those things in the city?! And who was that guy?!" Yang spat out in bitter, and while Ruby wanted to know what's wrong with her and Blake, she is curious to know who it was that attacked the Grimm, attacked the city, attacked her and Pyrrha. And she has a feeling she will find out soon.

Back to Salem's castle...

One of her inner circle allies was watching what happened to the Grimm Wyvern and then he turned to asked his mistress who is sitting on her throne.

"Who was that, mistress?" The mustache man asked, as the eyes of Salem darkened she said one name.

"The Overlord." Salem said, with hate in her words as she is now having a hard time conquering Remnant all of the sudden.
