THE NETHER WORLD, (Y/N)'S POV

There was a flash of light as the magic of the tower brought the five of us to the tower, Weiss, Blake and Yang looked around disoriented from the sudden trip while Ruby and I smiled at being home again.

"Hail! The Dark Lady has returned from her trip, did ye have fun lass?" Quaver said as he ran over the bells on his hat and stick ringing loudly, he stood before Ruby with a big, sharp toothed grin on his face.

"Yep! And I got my team to come with me!" Ruby said happily.

"So you did, our most foreboding Dark Lady! Could you tell me the names of these lovely ladies?" Quaver asked.

"Well, this is my big sister Yang, that's Blake and Weiss, and together we are team RWBY!" Ruby said in a proud voice.

"Where's my luggage?!" Weiss said in an angry voice, she was holding her stomach from the nausea of such rapid travel.

"I'd guess the Minions brought it to the Mistresses Private Quarters, the three of you will have your own room's prepared for your stay with us" I said as Yang and Blake regained their composure and looked around the Throne Room.

"So this is the Nether World?" Blake asked curiously.

"I don't see what's so impressive about it..." Weiss said after she finally managed to keep her stomach from emptying.

"Shall we show them, Master?" I asked.

"Absolutely!" Ruby said as her eyes lit up in excitement.

"Show us what Rubes?" Yang asked with a raised brow.

"Close your eyes and follow us!" Ruby said excitedly.

"O-Okay..." Blake said as she closed her eyes, Yang shut her eyes and took Ruby's hand while I took hold of Blake's hand,Ruby looked over at us and I could swear I saw her silver eyes narrow within the darkness of her helmet, I looked and saw Weiss staring at us with an unamused expression and her arms crossed over her chest.

"I am not going to do something so childish!" Weiss said in an angry voice.

"Oh, come oooonnn, Weiss, just do it!" Ruby said in a sad voice.

"Just show us you dunce!" Weiss said, only to be tackled down by two of the Browns and Quaver, she had a rag tied over her eyes and she was lifted into the air by the Minions and she kicked and wiggled as they held onto her.

"Huh, problem solved! Let's go mistress" I said with a smirk, Ruby nodded her head and walked towards the doorway to the Private Quarters pulling Yang along after her, I guided Blake towards the steps and walked her up while the Browns and Quaver went up the steps holding onto a struggling Weiss.

After a short walk through the Private Quarters we reached the balcony outside of Ruby's room, we stood Blake and Yang on the wide open balcony and stepped away as the Minions tossed Weiss onto the ground, making her yelp as her butt hit the stone floor.

"Okay, open your eyes!" Ruby said excitedly.

Yang and Blake opened their eyes and their jaws immediately dropped at the sight of the massive abyss under the tower, and the floating rocks that orbited the tower.

"Ruby Rose! I am so going to-" Weiss said as she stood up and ripped the blindfold off of her face, however her rant was cut off as she took in the sight of the Nether World.

The three walked towards the rails on the edge of the balcony, staring out into the open air as the rocks floated past like meteors, the never ending falls of water and magma from the roof and the walls, they all looked down and saw the deep, dark abyss below and moved back.

"So... what do you think? Are you impressed?" Ruby asked in a cocky voice, she was very pleased to have a Dark Tower all of her own, especially one that defied the laws of physics and gravity!

"I-I don't..." Blake said as she watched the rocks orbit the tower.

"H-how? This is impossible!" Weiss said as she looked around.

Yang was speechless as she took in everything around her, she had a wide, wonder filled smile plastered to her face as she twirled around on the spot.

"That's not all! How about we show them around (Y/N)?" Ruby asked me.

"Sure, let's show them the things you have at your disposal, my lady" I said with a bow, she giggled and turned to look at her friends and sister.

"Come on guys! I want to show you the other places down here!" Ruby said excitedly as she turned and ran away back into the towers Private Quarters, Yang, Weiss, Blake and I followed after her and reached the stairway down to the Throne Room, we all descended the stairs together until we reached the Throne Room.

"This is the place I rule from, I even get a big chair!" Ruby said as she moved her outstretched arms around the wide open room and pointed towards her throne.

Yang let a whistle come from her lips while Blake stood back watching the Browns scurry around cleaning the room and repairing any damages, Weiss eyes the throne with envy and huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I-It's not that impressive!" Weiss said in a voice laced with jealousy.

"Hey!" Ruby said angrily.

"She's not wrong mistress" I said, causing Ruby and the other to turn and look at me.

"Since our last master died, the tower fell into disrepair and lost much of it's impressiveness, however since you are here we can start gathering riches to upgrade the tower and other areas of the Nether World" I said happily, while I was annoyed that the tower wasn't as grand as it used to be, but I was pleased that Ruby could make the tower look great once more.

"And how does she gather said riches?" Blake asked with a skeptical look in her eye.

"As we venture around the world, your Minions will gather any useful objects or treasures for you my lady, those are usually things like gold to magic crystals for upgrading the Minion Burrows" I explained, Ruby nodded her head at this.

"Sounds cool! So we're looking for gold, not lien?" Ruby asked cutely.

"Indeed Master, any gold we acquire will go into your treasury which is in your room, within your private quarters, shall we continue the tour of the Nether World, Dark Lady?" I asked with a smile.

"Yes, we shall!" Ruby said, she turned and skipped away followed by me and her teammates walking after her.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Ruby skipped out of the Throne Room and stopped on the ledge where the floating rocks stopped at, (Y/N) walked out at a casual pace followed by Weiss, Blake and Yang who gazed around the Nether World in awe.

"Where should we go first?" Ruby asked with her hand on her chin in thought.

"How about the Foundations? We'll start there, then go to the Battle Rock and finally the Minion Burrows" (Y/N) suggested, Ruby nodded her head and stepped towards the ledge waiting for the floating rock to arrive.

"Ruby, get back from the edge, you'll fall off!" Yang shouted worriedly.

"I'm fine Yang! Just waiting for the floating rock to appear" Ruby said dismissively.

(Y/N) walked beside her and a large rock floated close to the ledge waiting for Ruby and (Y/N) to step onto it, the two put their feet forward to step onto the rock.

"RUBY!!" Yang, Weiss and Blake screamed at the same time as they sprinted towards their leader, they skidded to a stop at the edge of the abyss when Ruby and (Y/N) stepped onto the floating rock and didn't fall.

"See! It's fine, come on!" Ruby said as she indicated for them to get on.

"Are you crazy?! There's no way that thing can hold all five of us you dolt!!" Weiss screamed angrily.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, just jump!" Ruby said as she waved her arm at her teammates.

"Actually master, they might be right about that, perhaps it would be best if the got onto another rock?" (Y/N) suggested.

"But isn't there only one rock?" Ruby asked.

"Normally yes, but since your the master of this place you can pluck one of the other rocks orbiting the tower and use it to carry the others, just call out and one will come..." (Y/N) said.

"O-okay" Ruby said with a nod of her head, she closed her silver eyes and tried to bring another rock over to the ledge, then one of the rocks that orbited the tower flew away towards the ledge before stopping beside the rock Ruby and (Y/N) stood upon.

"I-I did it!" Ruby cheered as she hugged (Y/N) making him blush slightly.

"Well done Mistress" he said as he smiled and petted her head through her helmet.

Yang, Weiss and Blake narrowed their eyes at the couple standing on the floating rock, they were still suspicious of the young man's motives and worried that he might do something to Ruby, they walked towards the edge of the ledge and looked at the floating rock skeptically.

"Your sure this is safe, right Ruby?" Weiss asked in an unsure voice, causing Ruby to huff in annoyance.

"YES! It's fine, just get on already!" Ruby said as the rock suddenly began to float away towards the Foundations with (Y/N) waving at them smugly.

"HEY, WAIT!" Yang yelled as she shoved Weiss and Blake onto the rock making them scream before they hit the rock, Yang jumped on as the rock began to follow Ruby and (Y/N)'s rock downwards to the Foundations.
Weiss and Blake were breathing heavily as they tried to calm their racing hearts, they honestly thought that they were going to fall off into the black abyss below.

"WHAT THE HELL, YANG!!" Weiss screeched angrily as the rock descended towards an opening in the wall, where Yang saw (Y/N) and Ruby disappear.

"What? We're fine, it's Ruby we're talking about, do you really think she'd do something that she knew would get us hurt?" Yang said as she kept her eyes on the entrance to the Foundations, she had a half-smile on when she saw her little sisters armoured figure standing next to (Y/N) who had his hands behind his back and that same smug smile on his face as they approached.

"You don't know that! What if we fell off the edge?! We would have died!!" Weiss yelled as the rock came to a stop on the landing platform to the Foundations, Yang jumped off while Blake and Weiss jumped off stumbling slightly.

"Oh, you worry too much!" Yang retorted as she walked over to her sister and stood between her and the young man, making Ruby pout sadly that she couldn't stand next to (Y/N).

"Welcome to the Foundations! This is the nerve centre of the Nether World, from this place my lady can order upgrades for all placed in the Nether world, whether it's expanding the Minion Burrows, buying stuff for the tower itself or other things" (Y/N) said as we lead them down the steps, where Ruby's eyes instantly locked onto the Forge that was cold and dead.

"Don't worry mistress, once we reclaim your Reds we can relight the Forge, and you'll have access to new types of amour and weapons" (Y/N) reassured when he saw Ruby gazing longingly at the Forge.

"Sooo... where to next?" Blake asked as she looked at the massive Forge with a raised brow.

"How about the Minion Burrows? That place is fun" Ruby said with a happy grin, she loved playing with the Browns and was looking forwards to some playtime, suddenly a Brown ran over to the crowd and tugged on (Y/N)'s robes, the young man looked down at the Brown that was bouncing around excitedly.

"Master, master! Found Reds Yes! YES!" the Brown said before falling into a fit of giggles.

"What? Where!?" Ruby said in excitement, she was really looking forwards to getting the Reds back and getting the forge working again.

"Perhaps we should take this back to the tower? Then once we know where to go, we can leave immediately!" (Y/N) said in excitement as he and Ruby ran back up the stairs followed by the Brown Minion, Yang, Weiss and Blake hurried after them and this time didn't get worried when they jumped onto the floating rock.

The six of them rode back up to the tower and jumped off the rocks running into the tower, Ruby stood before her throne looking down at the Brown Minion who was bouncing around giddily.

"Okay little guy, where are they?" Ruby asked as she bent down placing her hands on her knees, (Y/N) stood up with his arms crossed and a hopeful smile on his face.

"Red's with Halfling's, locked in cages! Need to rescue them!" the brown said with a sad look on it's face, (Y/N)'s hands clenched as he growled angrily at the news.

"Halflings? What are those?" Ruby asked as she tilted her head slightly.

"They're greedy little buggers, that's what they are! They steal anything not nailed down, then they steal the nails!" (Y/N) ranted angrily.

"So what, they're thieves or something?" Blake asked as she stepped forwards.

"Their worse than thieves, their also voracious gluttons that'll eat anyone or anything they catch, even humans" (Y/N) said in a disgusted voice, the girls were horrified at the new information.

"S-so their what, c-cannibals or something!?" Weiss said in a slightly nervous tone.

"I guess you could say that, although they aren't human so technically it isn't cannibalism, but this is the perfect opportunity to retrieve your Reds Mistress!" (Y/N) said in an excited voice.

"Yeah! So where are these evil Halflings? Somewhere in Vale?" Ruby asked the Brown that was pelvic thrusting in excitement of an upcoming fight.

"Halflings not in Vale! They been stealing big piles of food in Mistral, from towns and school place! People not happy!" the Brown said before falling into a giggle fit.

"The little blighters are that far out eh? Well, luckily for us the tower can bring us there immediately, let's see where we have to go" (Y/N) said.

Ruby followed the young man up the steps and sat down in the stone throne as a large map of Remnant on a huge piece of cloth unravelled from the roof of the Throne Room, Yang, Weiss and Blake stood at the bottom of the steps gazing at the map curiously as Browns scurried around working.

"Sooo... where do we have to go?" Ruby asked as her eyes scanned over the map, suddenly a Brown came down on a rope with a paint brush and painted an X on a spot of the map in Mistral.

"There is where we need to go Mistress, the magics of the Nether World will transport us there and we can begin our search for the Reds" (Y/N) said.

"Hey, wait!" Yang said in a hurried voice, Ruby and (Y/N) looked at the fiery blonde as she walked up to the two.

"I'm coming too! There's no way I'm letting my little sister walk into danger without me!" Yang said with authority in her voice.

"Yay!" Ruby cheered happily as she stood up and hugged her big sister, (Y/N) smiled at Ruby's childish display.

"What about you two? Are you coming along with us on this quest?" (Y/N) asked Weiss and Blake.

"I can't, I'm going to make sure those little monsters haven't done anything with my stuff, and maybe try to get this place organised, it's a wreck right now!" Weiss said in an exasperated voice before she turned around and walked off, her heels clicking on the stone floor as she walked.

"I'm... gonna go find somewhere quiet to read, I just need a little time to get used to all this" Blake said before she walked off towards the private quarters, with her copy of Ninjas of Love in her hand.

"It would be good for them to get used to things here Mistress, the three of us and the Minions will be more than enough to handle those Halflings!" (Y/N) said in a confident voice.

"Okay, let's go!" Ruby said and sped to the transport spot, followed by Yang and (Y/N).

The three of them stood on the spot as the magics swirled around them, with a clap of thunder the magic lifted the three humans off the ground towards the crowned rock above and they were transported to Mistral.

MISTRAL, RUBY'S POV

In a flash of bright blue light we appeared in a strange place I didn't recognise, I looked and saw Yang and (Y/N) standing either side of me and we all walked off of the Nether World Gate and stepped onto the grass, we walked over beside the gate and a Brown Minion Gate appeared with me and (Y/N) quickly summoning Minions for ourselves, ten Minions gathered behind me with different weapons that they had grabbed during the battle in the caves and probably that raid on Vale, I looked over and saw that (Y/N) had fifteen of them most of them were shirtless and had clubs in their hands meaning that they were newborns.

"How come you can call more of those Minions that Ruby can, (Y/N)?" Yang asked as she looked at the assembled Minions that were laughing and rough housing.

"It's nothing special, I've just done this longer than she has, once she get's better at this and recovers parts of the Totem Pole, she'll be able to summon more" (Y/N) explained, I didn't fully understand what he was saying but it sounded like I had some things to find.

"Totem pole?" Yang asked with a raised brow.

"In the Minion Burrows near where you get off of the floating rock is a Totem Pole, if the Mistress recovers the missing parts she can increase her maximum horde size by five for each piece she regains, up to a maximum of 50 Minions" (Y/N) explained, I was actually kind of excited to be able to use fifty Minions at once!

"Wow! fifty of them, that's insane! what about you, (Y/N), how many can you call?" Yang asked curiously.

"Right now I can only call fifteen of them, but my maximum limit is also fifty, which means together we can call over one hundred Minions at our full power" (Y/N) said, this really got me by surprise it would be awesome to have one hundred Minions running around fighting the Grimm with us!

"Okay, let's get looking for those Halflings!" I said feeling very excited as I skipped off followed by the Browns, I looked back and saw (Y/N) following after me with his own Browns and Yang walking alongside him watching him intently, she must still be kind of suspicious about him.

We walked into a farm and I saw something very strange, there was a man dressed as a farmer with a straw hat trapped on a wooden post like a scarecrow but he was struggling to get off of it, I walked over to him and the Minions quickly surrounded him pointing and laughing at him or jabbing him with their claws.

"Ahhhh! Halflings took over my farm, tied me up in the sun to scare the birds! And now those pumpkins are plotting against poor, Bob!" the farmer said in a frantic voice as he flapped his arms around, I was very confused by what he was saying I looked back to see Yang shrug her shoulders while (Y/N) watched the farmer with interest as his Minions chattered.

"They want revenge for all the pies I made! And the soup, and the jelly and the er... ice cream" the farmer said as he wriggled around on his post, just hearing about all of those made me feel hungry.
"I hear the pumpkins whispering at night, but I won't leave my farm to the Halflings oh no... THEY'RE WORSE THAN THE PUMPKINS!" the farmer yelled, I heard a shout from across the pumpkin patch making me, Yang and (Y/N) look over to see a short tubby man run into the farm house.

"Please help get Bob's farm back, Hurrr..." Farmer Bob said in a huff.

"Okay, first let's get you down from there!" I said as I unfurled Crescent Rose and brought it back.

"Eh! What!? N-now hold on a second!" the farmer shouted, but I swung Crescent Rose as he shrieked and pulled his legs up to his chest, I twirled with my baby extended before stopping and looking at the post, it broke apart and the farmer fell to the ground with a light thump, however he still had the stick through the sleeves of his shirt and tied to his elbows.

"Whew! Thanks for the assist little lady, now I just need you to deal with those evil Pumpkins and the Halflings" Farmer Bob said as he took his hat off and kneeled before me.

"Please, Mistress, allow the Minions and I to deal with these pumpkins" (Y/N) said, then he directed the Minions towards the pumpkin patch, the Minions whooped happily and used their clubs and weapons to smash the pumpkins apart.

"They're screaming, the pumpkins are screaming! They're scared, get 'em! GET E'M!" Farmer Bob shouted excitedly as the browns worked.

I watched as the Browns had fun smashing the pumpkins into paste, I had to admit it did look kind of fun smashing stuff!

"Keep those squeaky things away from me! KEEP EM' AWAY!" Farmer Bob shouted behind me, I looked around and saw some of the Browns tugging at his pant leg angrily.

"Guys, leave Farmer Bob alone!" I said as I wiggled my finger at the Minions, they backed off and stood beside me watching with envy as (Y/N)'s Minions smashed the pumpkins.

"Your creatures ain't related to pumpkins are they?" the farmer asked, I giggled at the ridiculous question when I looked up I saw that (Y/N)'s Browns had smashed up the last of the pumpkins and were jumping around on the mush.

"Okay, now it's my turn!" I said as I slammed Crescent Rose into the dirt and aimed towards the open doorway to the farmhouse, I sent in some of my Browns and there came crashing from inside the house and suddenly the whole house fell down!

"Oh shoot!" Yang said in shock as the house caught fire.

"My farm! Oh well... better than letting those Halflings keep it" Farmer Bob said.

Suddenly three short, tubby people ran from the collapsed house in panic, the little men took one look at me and their eyes widened in panic.

"Run away, run away!" one of the Halflings yelled before they all ran away up the hill with the Browns yelling after them.

"WOOHOO! That's showed 'em! Now the path beyond leads to the Halfling homes, there will be a lot of those little blighters there so be careful!" Farmer Bob said.

"Nicely handled Mistress... a little destruction is quite liberating, don't you agree?" (Y/N) said happily as he indicated the broken farmhouse.

"I-I didn't know the farm was going to fall down, I swear!" I said in a worried voice.

"It's fine Mistress, shall we go on and find those tubby devils?" (Y/N) said as the Browns hopped around in excitement at the thought of a fight.

"Gah! There's another one! Get it, get it!" I heard Farmer Bob yell out, I turned around and saw him gesturing at a very big pumpkin, one of the Browns ran over and hoisted the pumpkin over it's head before smashing it over it's head and giggling inside the pumpkin before saying uh oh when it realised it couldn't see.

I laughed at the minion as it stumbled around reaching out to figure out where it was going, as this happened I saw Yang crouch down groaning in disgust as she wiped mashed up pumpkin from her shoes while the Brown got closer to her with it's claws outstretched.

Yang had just gotten the last of the mushed up pumpkin off her shoe when the Brown reached her and bumped into her, and unfortunately it had also grabbed hold of her chest and started squeezing making me blush at the sight.

Yang yelled and punched the Brown sending it rocketing backwards into a tree, she had punched the Minion so hard the pumpkin stayed behind in midair only to be caught by another Brown Minion who sped off and started carving a face into the pumpkin.

(Y/N) laughed hard at what just happened and fell to the ground holding his stomach as he laughed, I giggled a little too from what just happened even Yang laughed a little at what just happened, I smiled when the Brown returned with a funny jack-o-lantern face carved into the massive pumpkin before shoving it onto his own head and dancing with happiness.

"Okay, shall we get going, my Lady?" (Y/N) asked with a smile.

"Sure, what about you Farmer Bob?" I asked as I looked over to Farmer Bob.

"Me? I think I'll stay here, fix me farm. Maybe grow marrows instead... yeah marrows, they don't talk so much, hahaha that'll be nice..." Farmer Bob said before running towards his smashed farm to start working on it.

We said good bye to Farmer Bob and went on ahead, we walked up the hill and found those Halflings from earlier shouting at some other Halflings that were on the ground asleep, the Halflings spun around and shouted at the others while pointing their weapons at us as we walked down the hill, the other Halflings sprung up and shouted angrily before charging at us with their little swords raised.

The Minions snarled and yelled back before charging at the Halflings with their own weapons raised, I watched with Crescent Rose still unfurled as the Browns fought with the tubby Halflings, the Browns quickly overwhelmed the Halflings taking them down easily but I noticed that the Halflings started evaporating into black mist like the Grimm did!

"Woah! What just happened to those Halflings?" Yang asked beside me as the last Halfling vanished.

"Those clouds are evil energy my Lady, it gathers in all us evil beings, you will learn more of it in time Mistress..." (Y/N) said as he strolled past us along with the Browns he summoned.

I followed after him with my Browns and Yang, we walked for a while until we came across a damaged town I ran inside followed by (Y/N), Yang and the Browns and I saw that whatever had happened here it happened recently, we split up and looked around to investigate what had happened.

Well... Yang, (Y/N) and I did the investigating, the Browns just seemed to be fine with running around hitting each other with things or having play fights in the streets, suddenly one of the Browns fell over and didn't get up.

(Y/N) and I ran over and we saw that the brown had tripped over a large footprint that was indented into the ground, (Y/N) had his hand on his chin in thought as he knelt down and studied the footprint.

"Hmmm... look's like the Halflings have got a Troll or two with them, I guess it's a good thing we've got your sister and the Browns with us, those creatures are very stupid but they pack a mean punch!" (Y/N) said as he stood up and looked around.

"The Halflings did this?" Yang asked as she looked around the messed up town.

"Indeed, it looks like they enslaved the people that lived here to grow their food, they'll be worked to death day and night so that the Halflings will get food for themselves" (Y/N) said in thought, I was horrified at hearing that!

"W-We've gotta go save those people! Let's go!" I said quickly before sprinting off following the Troll's footprints.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Ruby, (Y/N), Yang and the Brown Minions followed the path towards the Halfling Work Camp, the group walked along a path when suddenly they were were pelted with rocks, one of the rocks clanged off of Ruby's helmet making Yang run over to make sure she was okay.

"What's going on?!" Yang yelled as she pulled Ruby into cover.

"There, in the field! Greedy little Halflings!" (Y/N) angrily hissed as he pointed towards the field of wheat that the Halflings were standing in, the tubby little monsters shouted and threw more rocks at the party but missed a lot, unfortunately the Halflings were cut off from the path so the Browns couldn't reach them.

"Mistress, I believe it may be time to practice some of your new powers" (Y/N) said.

"What new powers are you talking about?" Ruby asked the young man.

"Use your Fireball Spell on the wheat, and roast those Halflings like suckling pigs!" (Y/N) said as he clenched his fist.

"How is she supposed to do that?! She hasn't had any practice at all!" Yang exclaimed angrily.

"Just imagine a ball of fire in your hand, and then toss it as hard as you can towards the wheat field!" (Y/N) said as a rock shot past the pillar he was standing behind, Ruby stood up and did what (Y/N) told her to do and was surprised when a fireball formed in her hand!

"Hyaaaaa!" Ruby yelled as she stood up and threw the fireball towards the wheat, the wheat instantly caught fire and the flames hungrily spread through the field roasting the Halflings alive, the Halflings screamed and yelled as the flames burned them until they all fell down dead.

"Masterfully done, my Dark Lady..." (Y/N) said as he watched the flames dance in the wheat field still, the Browns danced and cheered Ruby as she awkwardly laughed and rubbed the helmet on her head, unknown to the others she had a small blush on her cheeks from (Y/N)'s compliment.

"Onwards!" (Y/N) called as he waved his arm forwards and made the Browns fall into step behind him, Ruby and Yang, the group walked doen the path until they came close to a bridge and saw a small column of Halflings march out of an alcove by the river, (Y/N) held up his hand and crouched low following after the Halflings, he let a devious smile come to his face when they stopped in a bigger wheat field than the last one.

The Sorcerer quickly stood up and hurled his own fireball at the Halflings setting one of the tubby devils on fire, the Halfling screamed and ran around setting fire to the wheat and causing it to burn most of the other Halflings and a few Sheep, the ones that escaped the fire were ravaged by (Y/N)'s Browns who stole the blades from their disintergrating bodies and gathered the few lifeforce orbs that had sprung from their bodies.

"We're getting close to the work camp, I'd recommend we keep close once we are inside, Halflings might be short, but they're tough..." (Y/N) said as the Browns waved their new weapons around happily.

The group went further into the hills arriving at a shallow stream before the large, wooden gates to what must be the Work Camp, suddenly they were pelted with a shower of rocks but (Y/N) pulled up his shield spell and the rocks bounced off the magical force field.

"They're throwing rocks, PRIMITIVES!" (Y/N) angrily yelled as he shook his fist at the Halflings, suddenly Yang ran forwards and shot at the Halflings with her Ember Celica blasting the Halflings off of their vantage points and into the river or the forest, the Browns gathered the meagre lifeforce from the Halflings.

The group walked towards the large, wooden gates and started looking around for a way to open it and get inside the Work Camp.

"Look my lady, a wheel! Perhaps if we turn it the gates will open" (Y/N) said, the three humans stood back and sent ten Minions to turn the wheel and the large, wooden doors slowly creaked open.

When the massive wooden doors opened fully Ruby let out a cheer before she and the group went inside the Work Camp, after a short walk they arrived at the entrance to the Work Camp and found around twenty Halflings waiting for them with their weapons drawn and ready to fight.

Ruby and (Y/N) sent the Browns into the fray causing a massive melee between the two sides, Ruby, Yang and (Y/N) stayed back as the Browns fought clawing, biting, clubbing and stabbing at the tubby Halflings eventually overwhelming them and clearing the way for the others to get into the camp.

The three humans and the mob of Mrown Minions rushed through the Work Camp until they arrived at a pass with several platforms and scaffolds, standing on top of the platforms and scaffolds were a bunch of Halflings with rocks in their hands ready to throw, (Y/N) and Ruby directed the Minions to run up the slopes and attack the Halflings while the three humans shot at the rock throwers behind the battling browns.

Not too far away the group came across a large cage with humans and faunus trapped inside, when the people saw the three humans followed by the Minions they ran over to the bars of the cage looking at the group desperately.

"Hey! Help us out!" a man yelled from inside the cage, Ruby quickly sent all ten of her Minions to the wheel and began to open the cage portcullis, suddenly there came a lot of yelling from the path downwards and the group saw another mob of 30 Halflings charging at them with their swords raised.

"Yang, (Y/N), keep those Halflings away from us, we'll free these people and get them out of here!" Ruby said in a commanding voice.

"You got it, Rubes!" Yang said as she smashed her fists together, (Y/N) nodded his head with a smile as he directed the Minions to charge into battle yelling and whooping with glee, Yang jumped into the air and landed in the middle of the melee smashing her fist into the ground and sending both Halflings and Minions stumbling.

Yang quickly recovered and started punching as many Halflings as she could reach sending them flying, the Browns slashed and fought around the blonde haired huntress swapping out weapons and clothes when they could.

The fight ended quickly as the last few Halflings ran away screaming, Yang shot her Ember Celica after them but didn't hit them she growled after them and looked down to the Minions, most of them were okay but some of them had bleeding wounds yet they were still happy and excited.

Yang turned around and saw the last of the people run away back the way they came from, however a very large man stopped beside Ruby.

"There are more prisoners over there, but they've got a big old Troll guarding them!" the man said before turning and running away after the other people, more Halflings ran over to attack the group but Ruby used her super speed to deal with all the Halflings in two minutes.

The group then followed the path and came to a large, deep pit lined with wooden spikes and in the walls were four large cages crammed full of humans and faunus who looked to the group with desperation.
"Get us out of here!" a woman yelled as she ran forwards and gripped the bars tightly.

The sound of gears moving rang out and two large cages opened up, from the cages walked two very large Trolls, they were both very large with huge bellies and wore nothing but a loincloth each and shackles on their wrists with chains wrapped around their shoulders, they also had rings pierced through their noses and nipples, one of the Troll scratched his butt before letting out a massive fart.

"Urgh, that's so gross!" Ruby said as she watched the two monsters, then the creature brought the hand it scratched itself with to it's nose and sniffed it's hand before recoiling in disgust, then it wiped it's hand on the other trolls face making Yang and Ruby groan loudly in disgust.

The two troll looked at the group and stomped over to attack them, causing the ground to shake as they moved.

"Attack!" (Y/N) yelled and the Browns under his command ran to attack the two Trolls, Ruby snapped out of her disgust and sent her Minions to fight too, one of the Browns was launched back by a strong punch from one of the Trolls while the Browns stabbed and slashed at the two massive creatures.

Yang ran past the two and punched one of the Trolls on the stomach, however the belly was so large that she got launched back before (Y/N) and Ruby came in and attacked as well, the Sorcerer was casting spells at one Troll while Ruby used Crescent Rose to slash at the other, suddenly the two Trolls raised their arms above their heads and growled before jumping high into the air above the battle.

"Mistress, look out!" (Y/N) shouted as the Trolls came back down, he ran over and grabbed hold of Ruby pushing her and himself out from under the Trolls, the two humans looked over and Ruby's eyes widened in horror when she saw five of the browns had been killed by the two Trolls combined body slams.

The remaining Browns yelled in anger and jumped on the Trolls while they were still laying on the ground and angrily stabbed them both, the two Trolls roared in anger as they reached up and tried to pull the Browns off of them but the little Minions were too small and too fast for them to grab, suddenly a series of fireballs hit one of the Trolls engulfing it in flames making it yell out in pain as the flames devoured it's massive body, (Y/N) stood there with a look of rage on his face as he hurled fire at the Troll the second one saw him attacking it's companion and went to attack him, however the second Troll was slashed scross it's massive belly as a flash of red passed by before it was surrounded by what looked like a red whirlwind that slashed at it's massive body repeatedly.

The whirlwind stopped as suddenly as it appeared and before the wounded Troll stood Ruby with an angered look in her silver eyes, suddenly all of the cuts on the Trolls body erupted with blood making it cry out in pain before Ruby jumped onto the Trolls massive shoulders and placed the blade of Crescent Rose against the monsters chin, she loaded a round into the chamber and fired the gun twice causing the blade to slice through the Trolls thick neck and separate it's head from it's body.

Ruby jumped off the Trolls body as it fell to the ground with several Life Force orbs bursting from it's fallen body which Ruby quickly grabbed, she looked over to see the second Troll fall down dead from the barrage of flames before the Life Force came from it's body and was grabbed by what was left of Ruby's Browns, suddenly they were attacked by a group of Halflings that were guarding the arena the Browns were still angry about their friends being killed and fought the Halflings ferociously.

Suddenly there was a loud yell and Yang returned to the battle punching and kicking the Halflings that were attacking their group, sending them all flying in different directions.

After a few minutes of punching and yelling the Halflings were cleared out leaving the group alone in the arena, Ruby was over by the bodies of the dead Browns with (Y/N) while the other browns maliciously kicked the vanishing Halflings and Trolls to express their anger at their dead friends.

YANG'S POV

I looked over at Ruby and (Y/N) and saw my little sister kneeling next to the bodies of the dead Browns, (Y/N) was standing above her looking down at the Minions sadly with his fists clenched, I walked over to try and cheer them both up.

"I-I'm sorry about what happened to those guys Ruby, (Y/N)" I said as I put my hands on (Y/N)'s and Ruby's shoulders giving them both a comforting smile.

Ruby sniffled a little as she turned her head to look at me, I couldn't see much of her face thanks to the helmet on her head but I think I was helping her, (Y/N) still looked sad as he looked down at the dead Minions.

"Hey!" came an unfamiliar voice from our right, we looked over and saw a man giving us all a glare.

"Stop crying over those things and get us out of here!" he yelled angrily, I felt anger at how inconsiderate this guy was being to the deaths of those poor Minions.

"How about you shut your flapping gums and let us grieve! We'll let you out after!" (Y/N) yelled angrily.

"Forget about those freaky little rats! They're worse than the faunus! Get us humans out of here and leave those animals and creatures here!" the man yelled, I heard a sniffle and looked down just in time to see tears fall from under Ruby's helmet, I had enough of this guy's mouth and walked towards him, I reached through the bars of the cage and grabbed hold of the collar of his shirt before I yanked him forwards smashing his face against the bars, the other people in the cage looked kind of scared at how my eyes turned red and my hair lit on fire.

"Don't. EVER. Talk to my little sister or her friend like that! GET ME?!" I growled at him through my teeth, he quickly nodded his head and I tossed him back into the cage before I walked away back to Ruby and (Y/N) who seemed a little surprised at the fact that I had defended them both, when I reached them I saw the Browns fade away into black clouds just like the Halflings and the Trolls did when they died.

"I suppose it's time we moved on, I'll open that gate over there and we'll move on" (Y/N) said as he directed the Browns to turn the wheel making the gate slide downwards.

"(Y/N)... I'm really, really sorry about those Minions 'sniffle' I hope your not mad..." Ruby said in a small voice as more tears came from her silver eyes, the young man put his hand on her small shoulder and knelt down to look into her eyes.

"It's not your fault mistress, people die on a battlefield, all you can do is try to make the casualties as small as possible, it wasn't your fault" (Y/N) said, I had to admit I was expecting him to shout at her about this but I was glad he was being so understanding for my baby sister.

"In truth, I was more angry about that wretches comment on our Minions, perhaps we can just leave him to the Halflings, hopefully they'll eat him and we don't have to deal with him anymore" (Y/N) said in an angry voice as he glared towards where the man was caged.

This made Ruby giggle a little before she hugged (Y/N) making the young man go wide eyed in surprise while a blush came to his face, he looked at me with an unsure face making me laugh a little before he hugged back with a small smile on his face.

I had to admit he seemed like a pretty decent guy, maybe I should give him a chance and get to know him a little...

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The gate finished opening with a loud crash and the group walked through the lowered door into a open storage area, inside was a human and a faunus who looked at the group happily.
"Are you here to rescue us? Thank you, thank you so much!" said the faunus girl who had a pair of Ram horns coming from her head and a grateful smile on her face.

"Hey, we don't need this Crane, anymore, you can have it if you want" said the human who was an old man with a bald head and glasses.

"Well.. it is ours! Wretched creatures!" (Y/N) said as he walked past towards a very big crane with the Overlord crest stamped on it, showing that it did indeed once belong to the Nether World.

(Y/N) sent some of the Minions to open the cages for the villagers, after a few minutes the cages opened up and the villagers ran out cheering and laughing at their freedom.

"Yay!" yelled a random man in the crowd.

"We're free!" shouted a young tabby cat faunus.

"Come on, let's all go home!" cheered another man who led the large crowd away from the arena, in the back of the crowd the man that yelled at the group glared back the the kids but he quickly ran away with a look of fear on his face when Yang cracked her knuckles and glared at him angrily.

"Let's get this Crane back to the Nether World, then we can really start some work on the tower!" (Y/N) said before sending some Minions to pick up the Crane and carry it out of the Work Camp, the group walked through a back way through the Work Camp and came across a large group of sleeping Halflings that sprang awake and attacked the group.

However they were quickly taken care of by the three humans and the remaining Minions, they reached another closed gate and saw two huge sacks filled with gold sitting beside the gate, Yang's eyes went wide at the sight of the treasure.

"Hey, (Y/N)! Is this the gold you were talking about that we needed?" Yang asked in a hopeful voice.

"Indeed it is, however I don't think we have enough Minions to carry both bags" (Y/N) said as he looked at the two big sacks of gold.

"No worries, I've got both of these!" Yang said as she ran over to the two bags and hoisted them both onto her shoulders effortlessly.

After Yang grabbed the treasure that the Halflings stole the group quickly opened the gate and when they got out they ran into the group of villagers that they freed moments ago, the two groups walked out of the camp together with the villagers showering the three with gratitude and praise as well as praising the Minions.

The two groups exited the massive gates to the Work Camp and split up when the crossed the shallow river, the three humans and the Browns walked up a hill and they saw a ruined wall that was leaning over a narrow valley.

"Mistress, perhaps if you attacked that wall it would help us" (Y/N) said as he indicated the wall, Ruby nodded her head and looked to Yang who ran at the wall and kicked it hard sending the old ruin tumbling over and making an impromptu bridge.

"Ha! Looks like we've made a shortcut!" (Y/N) said happily, the three humans and the browns walked over the bridge towards the Nether World Gate.

Yang walked over to the Gate and dropped the two sacks down onto the glowing rocks, the magics hummed through the air before the gold vanished to the Nether World in a flash of light.

"Well, I guess that'll be a start to our riches!" Ruby said happily while Yang gave a thumbs up and a winning smile.

The two girls noticed that (Y/N) wasn't with them but was directing the Browns that were carrying the massive Crane, the Minions were grunting as they moved the massive machine towards the Gate.

"Mouldy! Keep up with the other Minions!" (Y/N) yelled, said Brown sped up it's pace.

"Scabby! I see you pretending to hold it with one claw!" (Y/N) said making the minion place both of it's hands on the Crane.

"Hold your share, Gubbin! You useless sack of pus!" (Y/N) yelled when suddenly the Crane tilted and fell on the ground smashing some of the unfortunate Minions toes, the Minions comically grabbed their hurt feet and hopped around yelling cuss words into the blue sky.

(Y/N) sighed in annoyance at the sight while Ruby and Yang tried to hold in their laughter, Yang recomposed herself and walked over to the Sorcerer tapping him on the shoulder.

"Mind if I give them a hand?" Yang asked the young man.

"Yeah, sure, just watch your fingers and toes!" (Y/N) said in a warning voice, Yang walked over and took hold of the Crane and lifted it up almost taking the remaining Browns off the ground, the Browns and Yang carried the Crane over to the Nether World Gate and dropped it onto the glowing rock, once again the magics came up and the Crane vanished to the Nether World.

"Well done Mistress, that Crane will help a lot with our work rebuilding the Dark Tower and other parts of the Nether World" (Y/N) said with a happy voice, Ruby felt happy that the tower would be restored faster.

"So... what are we going to do now?" Yang asked as she walked over to (Y/N) and Ruby.

"We could return to the tower and see what's happening back there, or we could call more Minions and explore the world a little more, I could tell you more about what you can do Dark Lady" (Y/N) said as he glanced down at Ruby.

"I like the sound of the second one, let's explore and learn some new things!" Ruby said as she walked over and called three more Minions from the Minion Gate, (Y/N) called two more for him and the group walked off to explore and perhaps find more missing tower objects.
