THIRD PERSON'S POV

"There's no way I can do that, (Y/N)!!" Ruby exclaimed in a frantic voice, (Y/N) jumped back in shock from how loud she suddenly went, and the others looked over in surprise, Ruby realised she had just yelled and blushed knowing that all the attention was on her now.

"S-Sorry about that, please, go back to what you were doing, ehehehe..." she said as she laughed in embarrassment and waved everyone away.

"I-I mean, we can't just take their food away (Y/N)! It's not ours, and they might need it!" Ruby said in a whisper-yell.

"Yes, because they look oh so hungry right now..." (Y/N) said as he looked at the peasants, they all seemed very well fed for people who were starving.

"Even so, we should do the right thing and give it back, besides, we've already got a lot of food from these Halfling Homes, and this kitchen's got a lot of food in it. let's just take that instead?" Ruby suggested, hoping that she wouldn't have to kill the village people that were with them right now, she knows for sure that Weiss and Blake would never forgive her for doing that, and yang would be so disappointed.

"Oh, very well Mistress... we'll do it 'that' way, just make sure those peons don't forget to reward you for your efforts!" (Y/N) said grumpily, he was kind of hoping she would take the destructive route, but in the long game, that wasn't good for long-term evil plan or a way to keep the new Dark Domain sustained for a long time, but in the end it was still evil they served.

"Don't worry, we've got this all under control" Ruby said, she turned back to the Browns and had them drop the food onto the platform, the villagers cheered happily and went to carry the food back up to the village.

"A generous act, I hope that village will reward you accordingly" (Y/N) said with some doubt evident in his voice as the villagers lifted the massive pile of food, Ruby and (Y/N) followed after them along with the Minions, Weiss and Blake.

"I'm sure the people of the village will be very thankful for us returning this food to them, especially after all of the time and effort it had taken for us to get it for them" Weiss said as she walked with Ruby and (Y/N), as the group emerged from the lower tunnels, they were suddenly ambushed by a group of Halflings!

"Ambush!" (Y/N) yelled as he hurled a Fireball at one of the Spearmen that was charging towards the group, engulfing him in a blaze as he dropped his spear and screamed in pain, the Browns charged past the group and engaged the Halflings in battle, supported by the four humans, while the peasants cowered with their food.

The battle was short and ended with no casualties for the Minions, who were grabbing new clothes and weapons from the dead Halflings, the group looked at one another and decided they would have to hurry through the remainders of the homes to avoid another ambush, the group moved on with the scared villagers following close behind, after a close call with a group of Rock Throwers the group finally emerged from the Halfling Homes, when they came outside the Minions looked out hissing in annoyance at the bright sunlight glaring down at them, as the humans walked into the open ground where the Trolls once stood a wooden gateway opened up, and a group of Halflings emerged from the newly opened gate.

"Looks like Melvin sent his men to stop us from crashing the party, if we leave we'll have trouble coming back to face Melvin! Mistress, I think we should press onwards, before they close those gates and lock us out!" (Y/N) said as he conjured the Anger Spell and cast it over his Minions, they Browns he controlled jabbered and hissed angrily as they rushed to fight the Halflings that emerged from the gate.

"No, my Lady please! Don't make us walk back to the village alone! What if there are more Halflings on the path back to the village, we'll all be killed!!" one of the village men cried as he grabbed hold of Ruby's combat skirt, clutching onto it as tears and snot dribbled down his face making Ruby recoil in disgust, along with Weiss and Blake, however he quickly let go when a fireball hit the ground in front of him.

"Do not presume to touch the Mistress's clothing so casually, worm!" (Y/N) yelled angrily, he could feel the magical flow he put into his Anger Spell draining his Mana, so he quickly drank down a Mana Potion, to restore his lost Mana.

"Don't worry you won't be alone, Weiss Blake, make sure they get back to the village, and get Yang!" Ruby called out as she unfurled her Crescent Rose and sent her Minions into the battle with (Y/N)'s.
"You've got it!" Blake said as she went over to the villagers.

"We'll get it done, but don't go rushing off into the battle without us! We've got no idea how many of them there are in there!" Weiss scolded as she went to join Blake with the Villagers, Ruby nodded her head as she used the sniper rifle form of Crescent Rose to give covering fire to the Minions.

The villagers picked up the food and quickly started to go up the stairways carved into the hill, going back to the village with Weiss and Blake following close behind, as they reached the top of the hill at a cliff overlooking the crater the Halflings made their home, Weiss and Blake looked down to see an entire army of Halflings down below dancing, singing and eating as music and food was served by human and faunas slaves, however it was the sight of Melvin that made them pause in shock.

The Halfling Hero was so bloated and swollen with food that he resembled a massive balloon of flesh and fat, he grunted and bellowed at his Halfling subjects taking whatever food he wanted and stuffing it into his wide open mouth, he let out a loud burp that send little pieces of chewed up food spraying over the assembled Halflings.

"Urgh, yuck!" Weiss said as she held her hand over her mouth in disgust.

"That's so disturbing..." Blake said as she too saw the overweight Halfling stuffing yet more food into his bloated body.

"And Ruby's supposed to fight that thing!? How disgusting!" Weiss said.

"We should get these people back to the village, and get Yang quickly, then we can deal with the Halflings and that guy Melvin" Blake said as she grabbed Weiss by the shoulder, the heiress nodded her head in response and the two girls quickly rushed off to get Yang and bring the Villagers back, as the Halflings in the party heard the oncoming fight and grabbed their weapons.

Meanwhile back in the opening (Y/N), Ruby and their two hordes of Brown Minions battled the Halflings, (Y/N) had switched off the Anger spell to keep some of his Mana in reserve, he stayed back encouraging the Minions in their battle for their master while Ruby had jumped into the fray, swinging rescent Rose in a deadly dance, hacking and slashing any Halfling Swordsmen that came close.

"(Y/N), why aren't you fighting?!" Ruby called out as she sliced a Halfling in two, then kicked another one away before five of her Minions rushed in and bashed the Halfling to death.

"I don't have much Mana left unfortunately Mistress, it would be best if I stayed back for now until we find more Mana Potions!" (Y/N) called back, unfortunately he also had no weapon to fight with.

"Okay, just stay back for now, maybe we'll find more Mana Potions inside one of these houses!" Ruby called back as she kicked a Halfling into the air then used her folded Crescent Rose to shoot him away, the Minions continued to fight until the last few Halflings fell dead at their little, clawed feet.

Ruby quickly lead her Minions through the opened gate the Minions rampaged through a Pumpkin patch, smashing the large orange gourds up before they broke down the door to the last Halfling Home, the Browns rushed inside, smashing up the inside of the hole until smoke came out of the doorway, then the Browns rushed out, holding some smal bags of gold coins and two Mana Potions.

"Ah! Here, take these!" Ruby said as she quickly tossed the two small bottles of bright blue liquid towards the Sorcerer, he quickly caught them both and drank them down to replenish his Mana.

"Thank you Mistress! Now that my Mana is partially restored, let's see what we have to deal with..." (Y/N) said as he walked to the barred wooden gate, he looked between the wooden poles that served as bars, Ruby walked up beside him and looked through as well.

"Well, well, well it appears Melvin the Halfling hero is all grown up... and out! Pity he doesn't have the taste in music he does in food!" (Y/N) said as he looked over the huge, jiggling mass of flesh and fat that was Melvin Underbelly.

"That's Melvin! How the heck did he get so big!?" Ruby exclaimed with wide eyes as she looked at the oversized Halfling.

"Probably from cramming all that food down his throat, like I said, Halflings are very greedy creatures, they'll steal anything not nailed down, then steal the nails! But Melvin is renowned for his massive appetite, he's even eaten people who displeased him..." (Y/N) explained, Ruby looked horrified at the explanation before she gained a look of determination on her face, she wouldn't let some overgrown balloon hurt her subjects!

YANG'S POV, IN THE NETHER WORLD

I was kicking back in the Minion Burrows with some of the Browns, after my work out in the Battle Rock I decided to have some down time, I really need to have Ruby talk to (Y/N) about getting some Wi-Fi down here...

Some of the Browns laughed loudly as they chased each other around the little fortress the Browns called home, seeing them wearing different outfits was interesting, as well as the large Wolves that were mixed in with the little brown imps, it was so strange that not long ago we were fighting these creatures and now they work for my little sister.

"Wow, that's going to take some getting used too, my little sister is an Overlord now... I wonder what dad must be thinking right about now?" I said to myself as I lay against a rock, with my arms behind my head to rest on, my hair fanning out around me.

Truth is I bet dad's really worrying right about now, Ozpin's definitely told him about us all leaving Beacon to follow Ruby, I wouldn't be surprised if dad or uncle Qrow came to try and bring Ruby back, but would she go back though?

"Yang!" I heard someone calling my name, I looked over to see Blake flying over towards me on one of the floating rocks, she seemed tense, what the hell happened!?

"Blake? What are you doing here? Where's Ruby!?" I said as I stood up and rushed over to her, she jumped off the rock and stood in front of me with the rock waiting behind her.

"Ruby sent me back here to get you, we've found the Halfling Leader, Melvin, he's got an army of Halflings between him and us, we need you to come and help us take him down, and save the village from him and his army" Blake said in a calm voice, I nodded my head and we both jumped onto the floating rock and flew back towards the Nether World Tower, when the rock stopped outside the Tower's main entrance we jumped off and rushed inside towards the stone circle, the Nether World Rock above us moved as the magic of the Tower sent us to the surface in a flash of blue energy.

The bright blue light faded away leaving me and Blake rubbing our eyes to fix our vision, after a few seconds we rushed towards the village where we found Weiss surrounded by the villagers, who all seemed very thankful.

"Weiss, where's Ruby and (Y/N)?" I called out as we stopped close by to her.

"Their down at the crater where the Halflings make their homes, we better get over there fast, knowing that dolt she's probably gotten herself into trouble waiting for us" she replied as she had her hand on the hilt of her Myrtenaster.

"Right, let's get down there quickly!" I said as we all turned and rushed out of the gates of the village, we ran up the hill towards where the Halflings were having their party, when we reached the top of the hill I stopped in shock, below us was a swarm of Halflings! There were literally dozens of them all over the place, and standing nearby on a stage was what I could only describe as what a human balloon would look like.

"What. Is that?" I asked as I pointed at the quivering mass of flesh below us.

"That, would be Melvin" Weiss said with her nose wrinkled in disgust at the sight of the overfed Halfling.

"We better get down there now, Ruby's gonna need all the help she can get to deal with all of those Halflings" Blake said as she switched her Gambol Shroud into it's gun form, however before we could start going down the path the gate suddenly opened, and I saw Ruby, (Y/N) and the Browns all rush through the gate.

"Just what does that dolt think she's doing!?" Weiss said in disbelief, we all saw Melvin suddenly let out a bellow before he started moving away from Ruby, (Y/N) and the Minions towards the massive Halfling Home nearby.

"Looks like Melvin's making a run for it, well a waddle for it!" I heard (Y/N) call out.

"Not if I can help it, Minions surround him now!" Ruby called out as she pointed towards Melvin, the Browns quickly rushed to obey her command, but they suddenly stopped and started river dancing as a man stood on a table playing a violin!

"What the heck is going on!?" Weiss said as she looked at the ridiculous scene below us.

"(Y/N), what's happening, why aren't the Browns stopping Melvin!?" Ruby cried out as she unfurled Crescent Rose in it's Scythe form.

"The Minions seem bewitched... it does have a haunting beauty to it... perhaps we should stay a while... revel in the melody..." (Y/N) said in a dreamy voice, was that guy with the violin playing some kind of magical song!?

"Oh... my feet, Mistress, I can't stop them..." (Y/N) said as his feet started to move to the music, although it seemed like he was trying to fight it with all of his willpower, however eventually it all came undone as he too started dancing along to the music.

"Oh, I'm dancing, I'm actually dancing!" (Y/N) said with obvious displeasure and disgust in his voice, I snorted in laughter at the dance he was performing and was half tempted to take out my scroll and record this, oh well why not?

"Yang, are you really recording at a time like this!?" Weiss said in annoyance as she drew Myrtenaster from it's sheath.

"Hey, you never know, this could be awesome blackmail material" I said as I zoomed into (Y/N) and the Browns dancing together, with Ruby laughing at the scene, however that laughter all went away when I saw a large group of Halflings rushing towards them with their weapons raised.

"Quick, do something Mistress!" (Y/N) said in desperation, if we didn't do something Ruby and the others would be overwhelmed by Halflings!

"We've got to get down there right now!" I said as I cocked Ember Celica, loading fresh shells into the chamber.

"How do we do that, we won't reach them in time with that path!" Weiss said.

"Then we take a short cut!" I said through gritted teeth, Weiss opened her mouth again but I just vaulted over the wooden fence and slid down the steep hill on my feet, I heard Weiss and Blake calling out after me but all I cared about was Ruby, I reached a ledge and jumped into the air before launching a flurry of bullets from Ember Celica at the musician, taking him down easily and sending his violin flying from his grasp, I watched as the Browns and (Y/N) stopped dancing much to the Sorcerer's relief.

"Yang? Is that you?" Ruby asked as she tilted her head to the side, however I saw that the Halflings were quickly closing in on us!

"Ruby! Watch out!" I said as I launched myself at a Halfling that was about to hit her with a sword, I punched the chubby beast in the gut and sent him flying into a bunch of other Halfling's behind him, that seemed to be the trigger for a chaotic fight with the Minions and the Halflings.

"So often the great die before their time, Ohhh, his music will live on in our hearts!" (Y/N) declared as he conjured up his magic and cast that Anger Spell over his Browns, making them fight harder and for longer against the crowds of Halflings, suddenly several ice crystals burst from the ground as Weiss landed beside me with her Glyphs ready, then I saw Blake land beside (Y/N) using Gambol Shroud to swing from a tree branch.

"Mourn his death later, fight now!" Blake said as she shot at the Halflings around her, so began a massive, chaotic battle with the Halflings rushing at us from all directions, the Minions held their own against the Halflings but I saw that (Y/N) was running low on magic.

"We have to stop the Halflings from coming out, (Y/N) plug up the holes!" Ruby called out as she slashed a Halfling apart then shot two more, (Y/N) nodded his head and directed his Browns to destroy the Homes and stop any more Halflings from coming out.

"Blake, Weiss give him some cover, he's low on Mana!" Ruby commanded, Weiss and Blake rushed off to assist (Y/N), I stayed with Ruby, punching and shooting the Halflings that came at us, I then felt something solid hit me in the head and stun me slightly before my Aura healed the wound, I looked over and saw some Halfling Rock Throwers flinging rocks at us I got really mad at that and ran towards them with my hair on fire, I used Ember Celica to launch myself up onto the ledge and punched the ground hard enough to send the Rock Throwers flying into the air.

"Now that's what I call a grand slam, eh? Guys? Am I right?" I said with a hand on my hip, the others groaned at my hilarious pun, some people just don't get good humour...

RUBY'S POV

I shook my head at Yang's very badly timed pun before I remembered that we had to fight Melvin, I looked around but he was gone, how does something that big just vanish!?

"Guys, Melvin's gone!" I called out as I slashed another Halfling with my baby, I saw some Halflings rushing towards me, I fought them but a few managed to land some hits on me, hurting my Aura, but they were quickly rushed by a group of Browns who beat and stabbed them to death.

"WHAT!? How do you lose someone that huge!?" Weiss yelled angrily as she made a wall of Ice to keep some of the Halflings away from (Y/N), with some gaps in the walls to let the Browns attack them in choke points.

"I saw that tub of lard go into that house over there, but it looks like the Halflings broke the wheel, we'll have to get the spokes to open that door and go after him!" (Y/N) said as he pointed towards the large home that looked like a manor build into the hillside.

I looked over to see the last Halfling Hole be plugged up by some of (Y/N)'s Minions, that would stop them from coming out and attacking us for now, however I saw more Halflings coming down from another hill, I guess one of the spokes must be up there.

"Guys, there are more Halflings coming down from that hill, I think one of the missing spokes is up there" I called out as the last of the Halflings in the crater were taken down, however I saw more Halflings rushing down the steps from the hill towards us.

"Okay, let's get up there!" Yang cheered as she punched away another Halfling Spearman, she then rushed over to me and we fought our way up to the steps, with my horde of Browns following after us.

"Mistress, we'll secure the crater in case more Halflings arrive! be sure to smite them good!" (Y/N) called out as his pack of fifteen Browns crowded around him, licking their wounds and showing off their new equipment they looted from the dead Halflings.

Yang and I went to the bottom of the steps and saw more Halflings rushing down to attack us, Yang quickly punched one of the Halflings out with her Ember Celica while my Minions flooded past up the steps to attack the Halflings, however as the fight went on I saw some more Rock Throwers standing on top of one of the Holes, I quickly switched Crescent Rose into it's sniper form and shot at them, taking them out before they could hit any of my Minions.

"Excellent shots Mistress! I've never seen an Overlord with such accuracy!" (Y/N) called up to me, I felt my cheeks warm up as another blush came to my face from his compliment.

(No, bad brain! No blushing in the middle of a battle!) I scolded myself mentally as my Browns finished up the fight and rushed into the Hole, they smashed up the inside until smoke started to pour out of the opening meaning there would be no more Halflings coming from that Hole.

I looked further up the hill and saw even more Halflings rushing to fight us, I jumped into the fight with Crescent Rose and fought the Halflings alongside the Browns, taking down swordsmen and Spearmen while Yang punched the crap out of any that got through, I was hit by several more rocks that flew from above, one rock hit my head really hard making me stagger as I held onto my head.

"Ruby! Are you okay?!" Yang asked with worry in her voice, I could feel my Aura healing the bump from the rock.

"Yeah, I'm fine, got hit by a rock" I said as tears built up in my eyes, suddenly more rock flew over and hit both me and Yang, I got really annoyed and sent the Minions off to attack the Halflings, all fifteen of them attacked different Halflings before going into the three remaining Halfling Holes and destroyed them, finally all of the Halfings were dead but I still felt sore from the rocks that were thrown at me, as well as the hits I took in the fight earlier.

I saw the Browns were looting the wooden chests and Halfling Holes, they rushed over to me with bags of gold and little bottles of Red liquid, they passed all of these things to me as well as several Blue Mana Potions, these would be good for (Y/N)!

"Alright! We've got some Mana Potions, we should give these to (Y/N) so he can use his magic spells again" I said happily, but this was also an example of how much he relied on his magic, perhaps I should talk to him about getting a weapon of his own, just in case he ever runs out of Mana again?

"Awesome, let's take the spoke and go back to the others" Yang said with a grin on her face, I sent a Minion to grab the spoke and we went back down into the crater, however as we walked I looked down and saw that (Y/N) and Weiss were gone, along with the Minions he had.

"Where's (Y/N) gone?" I asked myself, my question was quickly answered when I saw (Y/N) walk out from a second path, followed by his Minions and with Weiss beside him.

"Hey (Y/N), where did you guys all go?" I asked as we met on the stage that Melvin was standing on before.

"I saw a second path beside the one you took, I thought that there might be something useful there" (Y/N) replied as he gulped down a bottle of Mana Potion he had gotten, probably from that place he and Weiss went to.
"Did you find anything?" Blake asked as she walked over to us, with her weapon placed onto her back.

"There was a big bag of Gold surrounded by fire, and we found one of the spokes for the wheel" Weiss said as one of (Y/N)'s Browns walked past with said spoke, the wheel had all four spokes fixed into place.
"Now all we need to do is turn the wheel and open the door, then we can deal with Melvin" (Y/N) said, I looked around and everyone seemed ready, I sent my Browns to turn the wheel and open the doors, however when the doors opened we were greeted by a small army of Halflings!

There was five Spearmen, ten Swordsmen and three Cooks, (Y/N) quickly started to throw Fireballs at the Halflings, taking out the Spearmen as they charged at us, he managed to take out two of them before the other three hit our Minions, who ran out and were knocked over from the charge, Weiss used one of her Glyphs to freeze one of the Cooks in place before Yang shattered him with a haymaker punch, the Halfling Swordsmen rushed in and attacked the Browns while they were down, killing four of them before the rest got up and fought back, I saw (Y/N) get angry at the deaths and threw Fireballs at the three remaining Spearmen, burning them alive.

I saw some of the Minions gulp down tankards of booze before they raged against the Halflings, I attacked one of the Cooks with Crescent Rose and some of my Browns, the big Halfling swung his cleaver at me and hit me on my shoulder before two of my Browns jumped onto his back and brought him down, then three more rushed over and pummelled him into a bloody mess, then I saw Blake use the ribbon of her Gambol Shroud to tie up the final Cook and make him fall to the ground, allowing (Y/N)'s Browns to rush in and slay him, then I saw the final Swordsman fall down under the assault of both mine and (Y/N)'s Browns.

"For Oum's sake, they're relentless little buggers!" Yang said as she kicked one of the dead Halflings as his body vaporised into Evil Energy.

"Does anybody else hear that?" Blake asked as her bow twitched.

"Hear what?" Weiss asked with a raised brow.

"That, that rumbling noise" Blake answered, now that she mentioned it, I heard something too.

"I can hear it too now, what is that?" Yang said as she cupped her hand to her ear, suddenly there was a loud crash from above us, I looked up in shock as a big machine came crashing down towards us!

"What the Hell!?" Yang exclaimed in shock.

"LOOK OUT MISTRESS!" I heard (Y/N) yell before I felt myself get tackled, I looked to see that I was in (Y/N)'s arms and the Browns were rushing after us into the building, flailing their arms in fear as wooden beams and dirt fell around and on top of them, we flew into the building with the Browns following us inside as the entrance collapsed from whatever the heck that was.

"RUBY!!" I heard Yang call out with worry.

"The bells have spoken! The time of the Halflings is now, bow to me, or be crushed by my contraption of DOOOOM!" came a voice from the other side of the rubble, looks like things just got worse...

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Outside of Melvin's Kitchen, Weiss, Yang and Blake stared in shock at the steam-driven contraption that had just blocked their way to (Y/N) and Ruby, they heard the sound of many feet hitting the ground behind them, the three girls turned and saw a big group of Halflings rushing towards them all!

"It looks like the Halflings got reinforcements!" Blake said as she took out her Gambol Shroud and got ready to fight.

"Damn it! They just destroyed the door, now we can't get to Ruby!" Yang said in anger as her eyes turned red and her hair started to glow.

"Ruby's with (Y/N), and she's got the Minions with her, right now we need to deal with these guys!" Weiss said as she rotated the Dust chamber in her Myrtenaster, changing it to a fresh cartridge of Dust.

"The bells do not like you!" the Halfling that was driving the contraption yelled as he aimed what looked like a cannon at the girls and fired, the girls jumped aside to avoid the pumpkins that the Halfling was shooting at them, the contraption had a wooden frame and what looked like a steam engine in the middle of it, and it had a big mess of sharpened wood at the front to act like a battering ram, as the mad Halfling shot pumpkins at the girls they were also attacked by the Halfling reinforcements.

"Damn it! Hang in there Ruby, we'll get to you as soon as we deal with this guy!" Yang yelled as she threw several punches towards the contraption, however the projectiles simply bounced off of the armour it had nailed onto it! Yang grit her teeth in annoyance as the demented Halfling Jinks simply laughed at her attempts, she punched her fists together, powering herself up to fight the crazed Halfling.

While Yang did this, Weiss and Blake had to deal with the crowd of Halflings coming at them with swords and spears, Weiss used her Glyphs and her Dust to hold them off with walls of Ice, or fiery explosions, as well as other elemental attacks, meanwhile Blake used a combination of her ninja-like moves and her shadow clone semblance to strike and avoid the Halflings, stabbing, slashing and shooting at the Halflings that got too close.

Meanwhile in the Kitchens (Y/N) and Ruby were catching their breaths from the near death experience, (Y/N) pushed himself up with his arms as he hissed in pain, he looked down to see a large chunk of splintered wood sticking out of his leg.

"Oh thats just great..." (Y/N) said, as blood oozed from the wound around the wood.

"Owww, that really hurt..." came Ruby's voice from below the Sorcerer, he looked down to see that he was laying right on top of Ruby, Ruby's sliver eyes fluttered open and her face instantly turned bright red when she noticed that (Y/N) was laying on top of her again.

"Are you alright Mistress? Are you hurt at all?" he asked in concern as he got up off of her and checked her over for any wounds.

"N-No! I-I'm fine, thanks..." Ruby said a she rubbed the back of her arm nervously, she then noticed the blood that had puddled on the floor and the large chunk of wood sticking out of (Y/N)'s leg.

"Oh my gosh, (Y/N) Your hurt!!" Ruby exclaimed with worry as she looked at the injury, (Y/N) grimaced in pain as the wood shifted in his skin, moving the splinters around.

"It's nothing Mistress, just a flesh wound" (Y/N) said as he took a deep breath and quickly pulled the shard of wood out of his leg, he yelled in pain as blood came out of the wound, he quickly drank a Healing Potion to ease the pain and stop the bleeding.

"You saved my life! Thank you very much (Y/N)!!" Ruby exclaimed happily as she hugged the Sorcerer tightly, the young man blushed heavily as she hugged him before tentetivly returning the hug.

"I-It's nothing Mistress, really, I was o-only doing my duty!" (Y/N) said with a nervous voice, the Browns chuckled and elbowed each other at the sight, with some of them dancing along to an imagined tune.

There came a loud rumbling sound from the collapsed doorway as Yang and the others fought the Halflings outside, Ruby quickly got up and looked at the broken doorway with worry, (Y/N) sensed her worry and got back up, leaning on the wall to support his hurt leg.

"Don't worry Mistress, I'm certain Yang and the others can handle themselves, all we have to do is take care of Melvin, then we can go and help the others" (Y/N) said as he limped over to Ruby and placed his hand on her shoulder, she looked back and smiled under her helmet before she also drank a health Potion to speed up her recovery, they turned and found a Waypoint Gate rising to the surface close by to them, they two looked around and saw that quite a few of the Minions were gone, Ruby had seven left while (Y/N) had ten, they looked back to the caved in section of the doorway and knew that they were probably buried in the rubble.

"On no, I-I'm so sorry guys..." Ruby said as she fell to her knees and cried at the loss of more of her Brown Minions, the Browns crowded around her trying to cheer her up while (Y/N) felt sad over the loss of some of the Browns.

After letting out a few tears Ruby stood up, a look of purpose in her eyes as she unfurled Crescent Rose and they moved onwards, going down a narrow pathway and finding a room with several sheep and a few baskets full of vegetables again, and inside the sheep pen was a Brown Minion Gate.

"Mistress, those Sheep will provide more Life Force to replenish our lost Minions, we should summon more to replace the ones we lost, so we can deal with Melvin and any Halflings that are here" (Y/N) said, Ruby nodded her head and set her remaining Minions on the Sheep, killing them and taking their Life Force to their Master, she then raised her hand and summoned more Minions to her side, to replace the ones that she lost in the collapse of the doorway as did (Y/N), after they got more Minions they started to move around the room stealing the food baskets and smashing up boxes, pots and barrels.

The Minions placed the food onto the Waypoint Gate and it was sent to the Nether World, then the group moved into the Kitchens, where a huge assortment of cooked and raw meat was hanging from hooks, and big baskets full of all kinds of vegetable was sitting out.

"All this for one bloated Halfling Hero! It could feed a hundred Minions!" (Y/N) said in disbelief.

"How can he have all of this food, and still want more?" Ruby asked as she looked around at all the food in the kitchen, as well as the Browns drooling at the smell of roasted meat.

"Like I said Mistress, Halflings are very greedy" (Y/N) said as they walked closer to the ledge, he tapped Ruby's shoulder quickly as he pointed downwards at the floor below, said floor was a massive grill with huge pieces of meat and whole bodies of cattle such as Cows, Pigs and Sheep roasting over what looked like lava! Behind a closed metal gate was a small group of Red Minions, who looked miserable in their captivity.

"The Reds! Those Halflings must be using them to start the cooking fires! They must use that wheel to control the flames" (Y/N) said as he pointed towards a wheel that was above the cage door that held the Reds back, he looked ahead and saw several Halfling Cooks watching over their cooking and an evil smile graced his lips.

"I have a rather diabolical idea for how to deal with those Cooks, Mistress, just follow my plan then we can take all this food back to the tower" (Y/N) said as he looked back at Ruby, she wondered what he had planned but decided to let him work his magic.

"Okay, lets get rid of those Halflings" Ruby said as she got her Minions ready to follow her orders.

"Okay Mistress, first we need to lure those Cooks onto te grill below us, and have four of your Minions turn that wheel over there" (Y/N) said, Ruby sent one lone Brown down onto the grill to lure the Cooks onto the cooking floor like (Y/N) suggested, then she sent four more over to turn the wheel, the Cooks went onto the grated floor to hack up the Brown but it quickly scampered away as the other Browns opened the metal door, the five Reds dashed through into the lava before waving their hands and making fire erupt from the grate, the Halfling Cooks screamed as the flames burned them all, while (Y/N) cackled evilly at his plans success.

"Hahahaha! Roasted in his own kitchen! There's something evilly poetic about that!" (Y/N) said as he laughed at the Cooks pain, Ruby felt a little bad that she was making them suffer like that, then she remembered that they would not only steal food from the village but also cook the people from it!

"More roast meat for Melvin! (Y/N) said with a final chuckle, Ruby gagged at the idea of watching that lump of fat eat his own people, (Y/N) saw her discomfort and patted her back reassuringly.

"It's okay Mistress, a good Halfling is an on-fire-and screaming Halfling!" (Y/N) said with a smile on his face, Ruby just nodded her head awkwardly as the screaming finally stopped and the Cooks were all dead, leaving a clear path to Melvin.

"Alright, now that that's over... we should deal with Melvin, let's go!" Ruby said as she had her Minions gather up the Life Force, and and dropped weapons and clothes for the newly spawned Browns, she saw a wheel close by and sent four of her Minions to turn it.

"We'll have a busy time collecting all this food, we'll have enough to last a very long time in the Nether World, keep us all fed for a while!" (Y/N) said as he looked around at the hanging meat and baskets full of vegetables and fruit around the kitchen.

"Yeah, at least we won't have to worry about food now, we just need to deal with this Melvin guy, then we'll get Yang, Weiss and Blake and take all this back to the Tower" Ruby said as the doors slowly slid open, after they fully opened the four Browns rushed to Ruby's side once again, the two groups walked into the hallway and saw all the chests and barrels around the hall and on top of the wooden scaffolds, as well as all the baskets of food sitting around, the two groups of Minions rushed around smashing the barrels and chests to steal the treasure and potions for Ruby and (Y/N), and some worked to gather the baskets of food for the Tower, as the Minions looted Ruby turned the corner only to see Melvin's huge bloated form, as well as his crack in the room beyond.

"There he is, let's get him!" Ruby called out as she rushed ahead with Crescent Rose unfurled into it's Scythe form, her group of Minions following close behind.

"Mistress, wait!" (Y/N) called out before he rushed after her, however a heavy metal gate crashed down between the two groups, separating Ruby and her Minions from (Y/N) and his Minions!

"(Y/N)!" Ruby called out as she looked behind her.

"Mistress, we can't get through!" the Sorcerer said in a worried voice, the sound of loud chewing disturbed them both from talking, they turned to see Melvin messily eating food from a large plate that had been lowered down to him from the ceiling.

"Yuck!" one of the Browns exclaimed, Ruby also cringed as she saw his bloated and overfed body shake and saw as he turned towards her and her Minions, she saw the stained shirt and royal looking jacket he wore, as well as the very stretched out pants, he also had a bejewelled necklace around his neck as well as a small golden crown and a gold fork, but he was so fat he didn't even have a chin anymore, he was so big and fat that he put Trolls to shame!

"Melvin ain't so small now! Hurhurhur!" the bloated Halfling said as he took large, ponderous steps towards Ruby and her minions, his huge, swollen belly swaying from side to side as he walked.

"You'll have to fight him yourself until we can reach you!" (Y/N) said as he gripped onto the bars of the door, Ruby nodded her head and turned to face her new enemy, as her Browns crowded around her ready to fight for their Master.
