An: Okay so I gonna mention a few things first. In this chapter there gonna be mention of rape and sadistic parts so be warned of that. Anyway on with the chapter.

Inside the throne room is Cary along with his mistresses and ladies as Cary himself look at his loyal friends.

Cary: "okay report what you all gather so far" he said in a calm tone which Oswald spoke.

Oswald: "okay as far as our status is current at is a decent amount" he said impressed then Jumba spoke.

"While status is decent, projects like the minion creation you requested might take more time, along with most minion related projects" Jumba said then Scrooge spoke.

Scrooge: "For currency, we are quite loaded as you hardly spend them on anything big like repairing Spree which is already rebuilt from the goblin attack" Scrooge said impressed that they are still rich.

Magica: "Magic artifacts research is going smoothly" Magica said next is Dj to spoke.

Dj: "And the library is slowly being full of knowledge" Dj said feeling happy of having knowledge and finally Max spoke.

Max: "For the guards they are slowly becoming a strong force along with defense which a sturdy amount" Max said which Cary nod before looking at Oswald.

Cary "that is good but what about the data you be getting from Corona?" He ask but Oswald sigh.

Oswald:"You know about Traverse Town?" He ask which Cary along with many of his mistresses who know about Traverse Town nod.

Scrooge: "Apparently after gaining some information. It seems that Traverse Town isn't part of Mickey Alliance of light at all" Scrooge said surprising them

Kim: "Hold on why did you think it was?" Kim ask a bit confused.

"well to be honest it because a lot of ships traveling to and from Mickey domain to Traverse Town that we assume it was part of his alliance. We make mistakes sometimes" Jumba said sheepishly.

Scrooge: "But now we know that Traverse Town is under the control of my nemesis Glomgold" Scrooge said.

"He be using the place for his own factory town. He be abusing the residents there to work extra hard during work hours and receive little payment for their labor" he said with anger building.

"If you ask me it is horrible. Sure I'm a business man who doesn't like giving employees their pay but I never abuse nor cheated them" Scrooge said which Cary thought for a few seconds then snap his fingers.

Cary: "This Glomgold sound like he is giving them false hope of leaving that depressing town by either dying or working under him" Cary said figuring out the duck strategy.

Venus: "Even if we try attacking them we need allies to help us incase we don't succeed" Venus said which Cary nod in agreement before remembering something.

Cary: "By any chance is Madame Leota fully charged?" He ask which Oswald think a few seconds before nodding.

Oswald: "yes she is fully charged" he said to which Cary look at Pj and Jumba.

Cary: "Please bring her here" he said which Pj rolled his eyes while Jumba bow then the two went to receive Madame Leota.

After returning with Madame Leota, Oswald power the machine up causing the woman face to wake up from her charging mode.

Leota: "Hello again my lord. What is it you seek?" She said to Cary who thought for a second before answering.

Cary: "I seek a world where prisoners of fallen worlds are kept" he said which Madame Leota eyes glow and spoke.

Leota: "On a world called La Cite Des Cloches in a city, a few called Paris, is the place you seek. Beware though for the judge there is filled with hatred who own a prison filled with sorrow of those who lost their worlds" she said closing her eyes to charge.

Cary: "Preb the ship. We are going to this world" Cary said while Pj sigh sadly.

Pj: "And me without a date" Pj said gaining some attention.

Kairi: "Um what that suppose to mean?" Kairi ask confused.

Scrooge: "You see Paris is know as the city of love a perfect place for a romantic event" Scrooge said which peak the two succubus attention.

Ageha: "Oh can I go? That sound my kind of place" Ageha said with lust in her eyes.

Kurumu: "Me too as I don't want my mother hog you all the time" Kurumu said looking at her mother.

Oswald: "I afraid that ain't a good idea as there a powerful church there. If they even sense a demon there they will go inquisition mode" Oswald said which the two succubus shiver.

Pj: "I better go as I haven't be in action in a while" Pj said holding his mace.

All: "we go too" Kim, Rapunzel, Sora, and Erica said then the party went to the gummi ship.

At the Notre Dame:

Inside the cathedral is a young man called Quasimodo who is looking at the people at the city below him where a festival is going on.

With him is his three best friends and guardians gargoyles name Victor, Hugo, and Laverne.

After a few minutes of talking Quasimodo decided to go there while his friends are worry about him.

With Cary and his party.

As they walk through the streets looking at the festival they were stop by a man name Frollo and his guards.

Frollo: "it seems I found myself a band of gypsies" Frollo said immediately Erica glare at Frollo as she already hate the guy but Cary voice talking to Frollo calm her.

Cary: "Pardon good sir but I think you confused us as we are just a group who be traveling and end up to your wonderful city for the festival" Cary said.

Frollo: "You are wearing flamboyant clothes and your friend is wearing a dog mask" Frollo said pointing to Pj who became a little angry.

Cary: "Sorry to disappoint but my friend here was born like that because of his father side of the family however the reason we are wearing flamboyant clothes is because of your festival" Cary said holding back his anger which Frollo thought for a few seconds.

Frollo: "Mm very well I let this slide but do wear formally when you're in Paris. Now if you excuse me I must attend this festival" Frollo said as both himself and his guards left but once they are gone Cary punch a light pole which surprised his party.

Cary: "Pj sorry for calling out your family like that but I did it so that bastard can leave" Cary said looking at Pj who nod and a bit grateful for Cary defending him. Soon they join the festivities and start to enjoy the festival but after a while everyone stop when a jester appears on the stage.

Jester: "Everyone gather around for the most generous woman in all of Paris. Dance Esmeralda dance" Jester said as he vanish into pink smoke and in his place is a beautiful woman with copper skin.

An: Esmeralda in her dance dress

Cary like many men present is enthralled by the woman wearing pink dress as she dance on the stage unknowingly planting seeds of tragedy in several minds. As she dance she made a bold move by getting close to Frollo and gave him one of her thin veil. Frollo quickly stuffed the viel into his sleeve but beside him is a man in golden armor who watch the dance with impressive in his eyes. At the same time in the crowd is Quasimodo who eyes is completely on Esmeralda who he think is a angel.

Cary however is looking at Esmeralda with interest as he never saw how beautiful a woman dance but when she swing around a spear it cause him to blush only for Erica to look at Cary before giggle at his face.

Erica: "I guess you found her interesting" she whisper which he nod slowly as he wrapped a arm around her hip but after the dance the jester reappear on stage.

Jester: "Attention everyone it's time to crown the King of Fools" the jester said which Quasimodo was picked as the new king of fools that started a wild chain of events that starts to quickly get out of hand.

However when it was revealed that Quasimodo wasn't wearing a mask the crowd turn on him and put him in the stock. But before any fruit could be throw Cary grab a arm and broke it causing the man to scream which caught everyone attention.

???: "Why did you broke my arm!" The man said but Cary grab the man throat lifting him up. However before any guards could do anything Cary glare froze the guards in complete fear surprising everyone.

Cary: "If you think I will allow a innocent soul to be treated as a entertainment than you got another thing coming" Cary said he then snap the man neck shocking everyone but Esmeralda who free Quasimodo yet that didn't go unnoticed.

Frollo: "How dare you set him free! You and your dark heart along with that killer will pay" Frollo said which both Esmeralda and Cary glare at him.

Esmeralda: "My dark heart? You oppress this poor creature and my people while you say that your heart is filled with pure light. You delude yourself" she said.

Cary: "Sure I kill that bastard but at less I have a heart of not judging those who are different" he said which Esmeralda smile but both of their speeches cause Frollo to be enrage. Yet before Frollo could make a command the unseen guest on top of a rooftop decided to act.

??? "mm the will of that woman to stand up against a cruel leader and her selflessness in the face of pure pressure" the woman said.

"She might be one of the princesses of light. But just to be sure" she said then summon Heartless of Soldiers, Search Ghost, and Rabid Dogs throughout the streets.

Frollo: "The gypsy is a witch! She summon the shadow monsters!" Frollo said running. Soon panic ensued peasants with fear as they flee everywhere however both Cary and his party defend themselves but during the fight Cary saw Quasimodo defending Esmeralda.

Quasimodo: "Stay away from her" he said defeating the soldiers with his strength then he uses a knockout guard to club the heartless.

Cary: "Okay everyone we need to help Quasimodo and Esmeralda then get somewhere safe" Cary said to his party.

Pj: "let show them who boss" Pj said As they fight the heartless they noticed that these heartless is different as the Rabid Dogs have no effect on Pj and the search ghosts can't get pass Kim as she sense their presence. But Pj, who wasn't looking, was bite in the butt by a Rabid Dog causing Pj to run and dance in pain. Watching that is Kim who giggle a little before rejoining the fight yet after a few minutes they arrive to Esmeralda and Quasimodo who was being overwhelmed.

Cary: "You two alright?" Cary ask as both himself and his party defend the two.

Esmeralda: "yes" she said however a heartless appeared and try capturing her yet it was defeated by both Quasimodo and Cary.

Cary: "Good work" Cary said with a smile which Quasimodo nervously replied "thank you" however more heartless surrounded them.

"We need a place to hide" Cary said as he slay a soldier

Quasimodo: "the Notre Dame is a safe place as it is filled with Light" he said.

Cary: "Okay, we follow you" Cary said lifting Esmeralda up and carry her bridal style then all of them slowly follow Quasimodo to an alleyway only for five Defenders to block their exits.

Sora: "Those are new" she said then Kim try attacking but was stop by Cary who set Esmeralda down.

Cary: "I can already tell that these won't be easy to defeat" he said then Rapunzel and Kim look at each other before nodding as they join with Esmeralda while Cary, Sora, Erica, Pj and Quasimodo got into a defense circle around the three.

Before the heartless could attack a man wielding a large sword appears and defeat three of the heartless in one swing. The group became speechless at the man with spiky blonde hair who spoke.

Cloud: "Name Cloud kids" the man said then charge at the last two Defenders.

Esmeralda: "He work for Frollo and because of him many gypsies was captured for he is too powerful" she said to Cary who nod.

Cary: "Okay we need to leave immediately as I fear we won't stand a chance against him" Cary said which his party agreed with him. They ran towards the church unaware of the golden armor man that follow them. Once inside Quasimodo went upstairs to get fresh clothes for them however once upstairs the group saw that they weren't alone. They all look to see one of Frollo knights had follow them inside.

Phoebus: "Greetings my name is Phoebus" he said introducing himself.

Esmeralda: "You" she said with venom as she grab a large candle stick holder and wield it like a spear.

Phoebus: "woah calm down we are in a church" He said calmly.

Sora: "He got you there, however why aren't you out there defeating the Heartless?" She said which Both Esmeralda and Phoebus look at her.

Both: "is that what those shadow monsters are called?" Esmeralda and Phoebus ask.

Cary: "Yeah but be careful as once they attack they will steal your heart then you become a heartless" Cary said surprising the two but then Phoebus look sad before sighing.

Phoebus: "I would but sadly Cloud can be able to handle them with ease. However I ain't after you as I can see you lot can be able to help us" he said which they look at him in surprised but Esmeralda continue to glare at him.

Esmeralda: "how? After all you are loyal to Frollo" she said which Cary nod but Phoebus sigh.

Phoebus: "I maybe loyal but it to the people I am loyal plus Frollo control the military" he said which surprise them but before they could continue the doors open to reveal Frollo with guards entering the church.

Frollo: "Good work captain. Now arrest them" he said as Cloud stood by the exit however Esmeralda notice Phoebus start to mouth "say Sanctuary" which she now realized what he means.

Esmeralda: "Wait I announced Sanctuary for myself and my friends" she said out loud.

Frollo: "Nonsense. Cloud arrest them" Frollo said however a voice stop everyone.

???: "You will not touch them Frollo" an male voice said which everyone look at two men but the one who spoke made Frollo grit his teeth in anger.

Frollo: "Armando" he said with venom.

Arch: "Don't worry as Minister Frollo learn long ago to respect the Sanctuary of the church" Archdeacon said as Armando glare cause Frollo guards to flinch.

Armando: Templar

Frollo got angry but then he left with his guards while Phoebus and Cloud follow behind. However once they are gone, Cary sigh before looking at Armando and Archdeacon who is looking at him.

Cary: "Thanks for saving our hide" he said but Armando chuckle.

Armando: "oh no it should be us that should saying thanks to the young Lord" he said gaining everyone attention.

Female: "Um what?" Sora and the other women ask.

Arch: "we were told of a young man who heart is full of balance can protect our world from the darkness" Archdeacon said which Armando smile and guide them to a stained glass.

Description: show a young male holding a mysterious blade that shape like a key. Above the blade is a strange being that is holding a cage of some kind but inside the cage is a small soul that look conflicted.

Both Cary and his party look confused at this which Cary look at Armando who is standing in front of the stained glass.

Armando: "This stained glass you see before you suddenly appears infront of the Archdeacon who was minding his own business. Yet that wasn't all that appear" he said then point down which Cary look down to see a strange chest bearing a gauntlet shape keyhole.

Cary: "okay that is strange" he said confused.

Arch: "Indeed" Archdeacon said with a chuckle as Cary walk up to the chest but once he stood in front of the chest Cary felt his hand with the gauntlet drawing to the chest. So Cary put his hand on the keyhole which cause a bright light to blind everyone for a moment but once everyone vision return they see the chest open.

Inside the chest contains a ring that match perfectly for Cary gauntlet finger then slowly went to pick up the ring only for it to flew and merge with Cary gauntlet finger which fit perfectly with the gauntlet finger.

Kim: "Um could someone explain what happened?" she ask confused.

Armando: "it seems that you are the chosen lord to rule Paris" he said surprising them.

Cary: "Um what?" He said completely confused until Erica put her hand on his shoulder gaining his attention.

Erica: "Just go along as it simple to just accept the craziness" she whisper which he nod as he accepted. However he saw Esmeralda looking at another stained glass which he walk towards her to see what wrong but upon arriving there he saw a different image on the glass.

This stained glass show a image of a battle between two forces. On the left is darkness with many different figures facing towards the right which is light with many figures defending several smaller light against the darkness. But above the battle is a large light which is guarded by two individuals.

Cary: "Huh what does this mean" he ask to which the Archdeacon answer.

Arch: "that the Pure Light and the War for Light" he said.

Erica: "What the story behind this?" She ask as everyone join to listen to this from both Archdeacon and Armando.

Arch: "A long time ago the Pure Light shine on everyone and the land. Yet darkness was formed inside the people hearts which lead to war for the light causing it to vanish" Archdeacon said.

Armando: "However the light left it children of light along with guardians so that when the seven of light is together the pure light will be found once more" Armando said.

Once finished the Archdeacon left to do business while Armando went to the door and guard it however Cary party went to different places inside the church leaving Cary with Esmeralda.

Cary:"So tell me about yourself as it seems there more than meet the eye" he said which she giggle a little before looking at the ground.

An: Esmeralda background is sad so here what happened in her childhood.

Before Esmeralda was born, her mother Paquette Guybertaut was a prostitute who was rape by a nobleman which lead to her being impregnate. However a few years in loneliness and sadness her mother gave birth to Esmeralda herself. Yet as soon as she was born the nobleman who rape her mother returned and try to executed his daughter for being born from a witch horse. Before he could do so, templar knights arrives and arrest the nobleman and a few others for doing crimes against god. Yet the nobleman got free from guards and killed Esmeralda mother before being killed by the lead templar who saw it as a sin. Before the templars could decide what to do with Esmeralda a dear friend of her mother beg them to let her and her family take care of Esmeralda. The templars allow it and let the woman raise Esmeralda as one of her own then the family left the place to live a peaceful place.

An: That the end of Esmeralda childhood as I sorta don't want it to be fully dark but not too childish either. So hope you all like my version of Esmeralda childhood from both disney and the novel. Anyway let continue with the chapter.

After Cary hearing Esmeralda childhood from her original family to her new family and joining Clopin group of gypsies that are Romani. Cary became enrage for what happened to her but he remain calm then spoke.

Cary: "I'm sorry that you suffer from that" he said which Esmeralda smile only to sigh.

Esmeralda: "if you want to find me again here a clue" she said giving him a homemade pendant.

Cary "Mm interesting" he thought then listened to Esmeralda advice.

Esmeralda: "just remember. With this you hold the city in your hands" she said which Cary nod until he realize something.

Cary: "I nearly forgot about our new friend. Let go check on him" he said then walk upstairs with everyone behind him upon arriving at the top they are all speechless at how big the place is.

Esmeralda: "this is quite a lovely place" she said admiring the place.

Sora: "I must admit this is amazing but if it this the only place you got access to then it small" she said which both herself and Rapunzel remember their life from their small world they call home which is sad.

Esmeralda: "Oh I must apologize from this afternoon" she said sadly as she remembered how it was her fault for pulling Quasimodo onto the stage which leads to the events.

Quasimodo: "Oh you don't have to apologize for it was my fault for leaving this place" he said sadly while surprising everyone.

"oh let me show you the place" he said happily then gave everyone the tour of his home which show that Quasimodo have talent for homemade decorations and curved buildings. However Cary notice how lonely Quasimodo is until he sense something off with three gargoyles.

While Quasimodo and Rapunzel talk to each other Cary went to the three gargoyles where a goat is sniffing one of them. Cary then thought for a second but then make a sinisterly smile as he whisper to the goat about his plan which earn the goat a surprise face.

Not long did everyone heard a scream which caught everyone attention as they all look at a strange scene.

In front of them are three living gargoyles, one fainted while the other two are completely staring at a blushing goat while Cary is smirking.

Esmeralda: "Djali" she said which the goat look at her with a blush.

Erica "Cary what did you do?" She ask looking at him.

Cary: "Okay so here what I done" he said then whisper what happened to Erica as Quasimodo talk to his gargoyle friends. Only for Erica face became a red mess as she smack Cary arm who chuckle.

Erica: "Cary! That's is both wrong but also funny" she said which gain everyone attention.

Pj: "What did you do?" He ask which Cary look at everyone who is confused but saw Esmeralda concerned face thus he sigh.

Cary: "I ask your goat of showing her butt to that gargoyle to see if it was alive and well you can see from a result" he said causing all of them to blush.

Rapunzel: "Wait how can you tell a goat gender?" She ask now curious which Cary smirk.

Cary: "simple" he said then  went to Djali and point to Djali horns.

"she a boer goat which is a goat who horns is curved and judging by her horn she in her young adult age" he said which surprise everyone only for the fainted gargoyle to woke up which caught their attention then the three gargoyles explain who they are and how they raise Quasimodo. Soon night was approaching which they decided to rest for the night but left early before sunrise. However inside Frollo office dark events is starting to take place that will change for dark times.

After Frollo sing the first verse of Hellfire (before the guard inferred) he heard laughter filled the air.

Frollo "revealed yourself" he said only for a woman in red dress revealed herself which surprised Frollo

Aithne "Why I Aithne an angel answering your pray" the woman said which Frollo eyes widen then he bow to her.

Frollo: "oh angel sent by virgin mary I pray you will help me" he said unaware of Aithne true loyalty.

"Yes and in your loyalty to the lord you shall receive a great gift" she said summoning strange new heartless.

An: ps give the original artist credit as these fit perfectly for this world also I like the Heartless names.

Frollo: "Oh, aren't these those shadow monsters?" He ask confused.

Aithne: "ah those will be the shadow demons while these are know as the shadow angels. Poor lost souls wanting redemption from the Lord" she said slowly manipulating Frollo.

"Oh course you wouldn't know considering your heart is full of darkness and mind filled with lust making it so easy to manipulate" she thought.

Frollo: "Ah I see now which means even in death she shall belong to me in the afterlife" Frollo said then threw Esmeralda veil into the fire causing a dark aura surrounding him which cause Aithne to smirk at this new discovery.

In the morning Frollo and his guard went throughout the city which is quite horrifying as gypsies were captured and are torture for silence. In an abandoned building Cary and his party watch the entire scene.

Erica: "Okay I know being a overlord is supposed to be evil but this is too far" she said a bit horrified.

Cary: "Maybe it because that judge is only interested in Esmeralda body and not her heart" Cary said causing Esmeralda to blush.

Esmeralda: "Maybe he different from most of these men" she thought but not long were they be discovered by Frollo and his guard. However Cary can already tell that something is already wrong with the judge. Only for Cary eyes to widen when he see darkness emerging from the judge body.

Frollo: "I see you still think you can resist my righteousness, then let me show you of my new blessing!" He said waving his hand which he summon Confessors. Both Cary and his party became shock at this however hiding among the shadows is Phoebus and Cloud who became shock too but then Cary glare at Frollo with hatred.

Cary: "you called yourself a Judge!?" He yell surprising everyone even the heartless.

Frollo: "Why oh course" he said but stop when Cary kill the Confessors with ease which surprised everyone yet Cary growl caught their attention. Everyone see Cary eyes glow red surprising Frollo who eyes widen at this.

Frollo: "he is a child of satan!" he thought which he summon more Confessors but Sora fireball shot spook the horse dragging Frollo somewhere while his guards follow behind. Cary start destroying the heartless and howl surprising his group until Erica wrap her arms around Cary who was caught off guard.

Erica: "Cary! The heartless are gone calm yourself!" She beg which snap him back to reality before passing out from using too much stamina.

"We need to return to Notre Dame!" Erica said noticing Cary sweating face.

Phoebus: "we'll help" Phoebus said as both himself and Cloud revealed themselves.

Cloud: "After witness Frollo summoning the heartless we decided to help raise against him" Cloud said.

After a few seconds the group allow them as they all help move Cary to the Notre Dame where Quasimodo is in conflict with himself.

After returning to Notre Dame Cary is place on a spare bed as Esmeralda and Erica take care of him while Quasimodo, Cloud and Phoebus talk with Cary other party members.

Phoebus: "I see" he said as the three males were told of what had happen to them. But Sora herself notice how Cloud description seem familiar until she remembers what Aerith say.

Sora: "By any chance you know Aerith?" She ask surprising Cloud.

Cloud: "yes how do you know her?" He ask which she explained how she and Cary along with his friends meeting her.

"Mm after Frollo is finish I will join you to Traverse Town" Cloud said.

Erica: "that sound alright" she said coming out of the spare bedroom with Esmeralda.

Females: "How is he?" Kim, Rapunzel, and Sora ask worried about him.

Esmeralda: "he is alright but he won't be waking up soon" she said.

Quasimodo: "What exactly happened?" He ask worried for his friend.

Erica: "from what I can tell he just spent too much stamina so he need time to recover" she said.

Sora "It seems we need to slipt up as we need to set the prisoners free while the others stay to tend to Cary" she said which they all agreed and slipt up with Cloud leading Sora, Rapunzel, Kim, and Pj to the prison while Erica, Esmeralda, Quasimodo, Phoebus and Djali stay behind.

Sora group Pov:

Soon they arrive at the prison however in order for it to be convincing the group was put in shackles while being lead by Cloud. Upon arriving there a guard revealed information that citizens is starting to rebel against Frollo while the Notre Dame is off limits to Frollo and his guards from orders of the templars. However after a few minutes of walking they arrive at the end of the prison which hold refugees from lost worlds.

Once inside the group found several people who names is; Phineas, Ferb, Vanessa, Jeremy, T.J, Lara Croft, and (Beret girl) Amy.

Sora: "Okay let set you free" she said using her keyblade to free the prisoners however when she did the prison start to shake making everyone leave. On their way out Cloud and Lara fight the guards which was easy as the guards lack proper training.

Erica group Pov:

The moment Sora group free the prisoners the ground shake surprising Erica group.

Erica "okay what was that?" She ask looking at Esmeralda only to notice that Esmeralda left.

"where did she go?" She ask only to find herself alone with Cary and the three gargoyle who explained.

Apparently after Sora group left Esmeralda left to her home then Quasimodo and Phoebus figure out the clue and went there. Erica then sigh before noticing something bright outside which both herself and the gargoyles went to the balcony only to be horrified at the scene.

Below them is Esmeralda on the stack with gypsies cage and the crowd shouting at the guards but what shock them is the amount of heartless. However right below them is also Quasimodo who is chain inside a cage of darkness who is being guarded by two heartless.

"This is a nightmare" Laverne said.

"but where is the templars and the monks?" Victor ask but Hugo point at the entrance which they look to see the entrance lock by darkness.

3rd person Pov:

After Aithne check Esmeralda only to discovered that she isn't a princess of light she allow Frollo to do his role. But Esmeralda choose the fire which Frollo lit the stack. Among the crowd is Sora group as they are horrified at the scene including the crowd.

However inside the spare bedroom is Cary who eyes widen with crimson red in his eyes as he got off the bed. Outside as Sora group try figuring out how to stop this, a roar surprise everyone as they all look above the Notre Dame where they see Cary.

Party: "Cary!" Cary party members thought while Frollo growl at Cary.

Frollo "killed him" he said to two winged heartless.

Before the heartless could attack everyone froze when they all hear a new roar which they look to see something flying behind Cary.

"Oh my gosh he woke up Grim" Laverne said as the other gargoyles cheer for him. Grim: nickname the Grinning Gargoyle.

Erica: "Who?" She ask

"he is like the protector of Paris" Hugo said.

"he swore that the one who will wake him during a dark time will be his summoner" Victor said which surprise Erica at this info as everyone else down below are completely speechless including Aithne.

Aithne: "How can there be a large living gargoyle!?" she thought but she then notice that Cary is gone.

"where did that Overlord went to!?" She thought.

With Cary who is with Quasimodo.

Quasimodo: "leave me alone all I done is meaningless" he said only for Cary to slap Quasimodo face making surprise him that Cary slap him.

Cary: "you are the bell ringer Quasimodo who bring everyone together" Cary said which surprise Quasimodo until he realize that throughout his life people have gather when the bell ring by his hands.

"And now the people there are gather down there is frighten by Frollo who killed your mother" Cary said surprising Quasimodo.

Quasimodo: "What?" He ask in disbelief.

Cary: "it true but now you have a greater family, the people who hearts is in conflict because of Frollo terror" he said then summon his keyblade and use it to destroy the cage that was keeping Quasimodo from using his strength.

"And now my friend it time for you to show them the light hidden in their hearts" Cary said then Quasimodo close his eyes before widening them as he suddenly felt strength he never had before which he set himself free. Cary smile and offer his hand to Quasimodo who accept.

"Now let give the people the light in this terror" Cary said which Quasimodo nod as he went to the bell while Cary himself grab a rope and used it to save Esmeralda.

While Cary is saving Esmeralda Sora group along with the prisoners return to Erica and the gargoyles however they all saw Cary save Esmeralda and land perfectly on the Notre Dame in front of Grim. Cary hold Esmeralda up with Grim doing the same but to the sky while Quasimodo ring the bells with Cary yelling.

Cary: "Sanctuary" he said which cause many people hearts spark with light. However Frollo growl before ordering his men and the heartless to enter the cathedral unaware that Phoebus, in rags, knock out the guard with the keys. Cary enter the spare bedroom and lay Esmeralda down where Rapunzel watch over her as Cary and his party start defending the cathedral.

At the same time Phoebus gave a speech to the citizens of Paris which cause them to finally rally and set the gypsies free. Both citizens and gypsies alike attack the heartless and the guard which they are succeeding as the heartless is being defeated from the citizens and gypsies hearts of light.

Aithne growl at how the heartless is being defeated by mere citizens and gypsies however she notice how Frollo darkness is summoning more heartless.

Aithne: "It seems your darkness is enough to find the keyhole of this world" she thought then walk into the shadows to watch.

With Cary and his party they went to several places to defend the cathedral however they notice several winged heartless try to attack from the sky. But thanks to Laverne birds the heartless in the sky was being defeated by Laverne birds yet heartless and guards who is consumed by the darkness start climbing. Only they were being dealt by Kim and Huge as they used range attacks to defeat them. The entire area of Notre Dame is a battle ground with Phoebus, his horse, and Djali defeated heartless and guards alike. Finally thanks to Quasimodo and Lara they pour molten lava into tunnels that pour out from gargoyles mouths which surrounded the cathedral by a wall of lava.

However Cary notice that someone is missing but he immediately defend himself against Frollo who body is completely emerge with darkness and his sword is emitted flames.

Frollo: "You are the spawn of the devil!" He said in anger as Frollo heartless attack Cary yet he defeated them only for them to reanimate.

Cary: "Your reign of terror ends now!" He said striking Frollo several times but once done Frollo got on his knees holding his blade.

Frollo: "I will not be defeated by the devil spawn!" He said getting up then knock Cary back surprising Cary himself as Frollo stand over him.

"Now he will smite the wicked and cast them into the fiery pit!" Frollo said however Grim appears in front of him surprising Frollo but Grim growl then knock Frollo over the edge making Frollo fall. Yet before Frollo could meet his end, darkness completely surrounded him transforming Frollo into a heartless. After Cary got up both himself and Grim look to see a heartless boss.

Cary glare at the boss only for Cloud and Sora appear beside him with Grim then as a team all four attack the boss. Grim block the sound emitted from the bell, Sora used her fire attacks to attack the wings, Cloud stopping any flames. And finally Cary is striking the head, chest, and hands injuring the boss.

However after a few more attacks Cary, Cloud, and Sora all combine their attacks to perform a unity combo strike. At the same time Grim is using his wings ti help boost the combo which went perfectly of defeating the boss which burst into darkness and release a heart. Then Cary absorbed the heart and life forces it contains.

In the shadows Aithne growl before leaving the world at her failure.

After everyone regroup inside the cathedral Cary saw a bright light coming from the stained glass. Everyone look and saw a keyhole appears in front of the stained glass which Cary use his keyblade to seal the keyhole. However when he lock the keyhole a bright light cover all of Paris which cause everyone to cover their eyes.

After the light vanish everyone uncover their eyes to be amazed at the new style cathedral however when they got outside they were surprised at the newly built Paris.

Everyone: "Woah" everyone said however Cary notice that Grim is missing but Sora gasp causing everyone to look at what she is looking at. They look up only to gasp as well for the stain glass outside the cathedral now contains a familiar gargoyle.

Armando: "It seems his role has finally be fulfilled" a familiar voice spoke making everyone look to see Armando smiling at Grim stained glass.

Rapunzel: "Um what do you mean by that?" She ask with Esmeralda beside her.

Armando: "Grim was a old friend of mine when he came to this world" he said which surprise everyone at this information however it was the Archdeacon chuckle that caught their attention.

Arch: "indeed my friend for without you then the templars would never be born" Archdeacon said as everyone took this information in Cary spoke.

Cary: "you aren't from this world Armando" he said surprising everyone while Armando smile.

Armando: "you are correct young Lord but I afraid I must leave" he said summoning a keyblade which surprised everyone.

"Oh and don't worry we will meet again" Armando said to Cary who nod then Armando smile before a bright light cover his body that blind everyone for a second but once their vision return they see that he was gone.

Sora "Well that is certainly new" she said making everyone look at her who sheepishly rub her neck until Archdeacon chuckled.

Arch: "On behalf of Notre Dame we thank you for saving our home" Archdeacon said bowing to Cary.

Oswald: "sir the world now belong to you" Oswald said from the comms which Cary smile before looking at Phoebus and Quasimodo.

Cary: "Phoebus I give you the rank of head captain and for Quasimodo, I give you the title of Bell master meaning you are in charge of Notre Dame bells" Cary said surprising the two.

Phoebus: "We won't let you down" he said saluting to Cary who nod while Quasimodo smile.

Quasimodo: "thank you Cary I won't let Paris fall into fear" he said while Cary smile and look at Archdeacon.

Cary: "Archdeacon I want you to find a trustworthy minister for Paris" he said which Archdeacon nod.

"Now let return home as we had quite the journey ahead of us" he said which his party members agree along with the newest addition.

Once on the gummi ship Cary and his party returns to his castle where they will rest for a while before heading to Traverse Town.

Hollow Bastion:

Inside the meeting room is a few villains discussing their plans until a portal open which caught their attention as Aithne came out of the portal enrage.

Aithne: "Let me guess you fail your mission too" Kathleen said which Aithne nod before sitting beside her as she explained what happened to the villains that is currently there.
