Bailey woke up to the sound of the pilot's announcement that there was some turbulence, but they've arrived, yada yada yada.

Taking a deep breath, They got up, grabbed their stuff, and left the plane with her brother, cousin and mother.

Realizing where they were, Bailey groaned. Sydney, Australia was not where they were planning on staying.
"Attention passengers waiting to board flight 4576," A announcement rang through the halls, waking Bailey up further.  "Flight to Tokyo, at 5pm, is cancelled temporarily. We will announce when the flight is back open, via email or this announcement system. Thank you for traveling with us."

F*ckkkkkk. Bailey thought, rubbing their temple. They were going to have to stay in Sydney?

As their mom started to pay for a hotel room, they started writing in their journal, which had been in her suitcase. They quickly jotted down:

'ps, don't fly to Sydney.'

They doodled a sheep, then started hurrying to their hotel room, their mother yelling at them to tie their shoe.
They were too busy to think about the lingering thought in their head; what if we cant go back?
