3rd POV

An army of men on horseback can be seen making their way across fields as one of the men speaks. "The village is burning!" Demand exclaims as the leader of the group clenches his eyes and glares of the billowing smoke.

He can only clench his teeth in anger as he and his men attempt to reach the village even faster.

By the time they reach the village, it's too late. Many had been slaughtered, All that remains is the wounded survivors and burning rubble.

"Vice chief, these people need help, make sure they get back to E-rantel safely." The leader of the group of soldiers exclaims as the vice chief speaks. "General" the man speaks. "What is it?" The general questioned as the vice chief spoke. "The king ordered us to track down and terminate the bandits that are attacking villages right?"

The man asked as the general answered back. "That's Correct?" He stated as the vice chief answers back. " Okay, Then why did they send us out here with only 50 soldiers? Especially when Baharuth might be responsible?" He questioned as the general answered back. "It's a top secret operation..." He explains as the vice chief answered back. "You know who's behind this... The noblemen want you to fail, if they can remove the king's most trusted general, then they would have a clear path to the throne." But the man was cut off as the general spoke.

"That's enough vice chief." He exclaimed as the vice chief speaks back. "But sir, you know I am telling the truth we're walking straight into a trap, our forces must return to E-rantel as fast as possible, if we split up now we will only be weakened. A few villages may be lost, but that is a small price to pay in order to keep the most powerful swordsman in the country alive!" The vice Chief explained.

"I was born a commoner." The general began to explain as the vice chief joined in. "So was I." He explains as the general cuts back in. "I know what it's like to live in these villages, to fear monsters at every turn... Always waiting for death..." The vice chief responds. "Same here."

The general then responded back. "Then you know what it's like to have hope, praying that someone out there would actually show up to protect you." "Of course" the vice Chief responded as the general spoke once more. "Then let us be the ones who do show up, we'll let these people know that it's okay to have hope, that prayers are answered, that heroes exist!" The general explained.

Deep within the tomb of Nazarick, a humanoid creature with blue skin and black horns could be seen scrying on a magic mirror.

(A remote viewing mirror... One of my favorite tools. It's a little tricky learning how to actually use it, but it shouldn't be that hard, after all, I would use this and similar methods of viewing to spy upon our enemies back in the Glory Days... Anyhow...) The Dragon thought to herself as she began to use the viewing mirror correctly.

The sound of clapping could then be heard as Sebas begin to speak. "Congratulations my lady, I knew you could figure it out." The butler congratulated as the dragoness gave a sly grin.

(That's it! Praise me! Praise My greatness!) The Overlady thought as she giggled to herself.

"Now... Let's investigate the surrounding area!" The dragon spoke as she used the mirror.

(Now what's this?) Shenron thought to herself as she then saw a village.

(A festival?!) the dragon thought to herself, before then examining the area closer with her eyes. What she saw was brutal... Knights in silver armor draped in blue fabrics, ran through the village with reckless abandon, brutally slaughtering all they came in contact with, men, women and even children were not safe from their attack...

"It's a massacre..." Shenron whispered to herself as she watched the brutality as it continued...

"My lady, what are your orders?" Sebas questioned, as the Dragon entered deep thought.

-Flashback, years ago-

In a area covered in maze like tree trunks twisting around each other, a humanoid figure wearing stitched together cloth and rags could be seen running from a group of humans.

"Inhuman beast! Die!" One human with a massive Warhammer screamed out as another human with a giant silver gauntlet grabbed the humanoid by their leg.

The scared humanoid covered themself, trying best to protect themself.

Just before the Warhammer could fully swing down however...

"That's enough you weaklings, how can you possibly stoop so low? Going after another just because they're weaker than you!? DIE!" Yelled the voice of a robed skeleton as he summoned a massive fireball reducing the humans to Ash.

The cowering humanoid looked up at the skeleton and spoke. "Y-you saved me... Why?" The humanoid questioned as the skeleton spoke with a loud and booming voice. "Because, as my friend would say, it is the duty of the strong and experienced to defend those who cannot yet defend themselves!" The skeleton boasted as he began to chuckle.

-End of flashback-

Back in the present, the Dragon began to chuckle as she then saw two girls running away from knights on horseback.

The dragon then stood up, her shadow then began moving and writhing uncontrollably.

"I think I shall pay them a visit..." The dragon spoke in an excited tone as she then spoke to the butler once more. "While I am gone, raise the security level of the tomb to its maximum." She commanded as the butler then nodded.

The dragoness then spoke once more. "Before I forget, tell both Megatron and Albedo to meet me there, have them armored and ready for battle." Shenron explained as the butler then spoke. "Of course my lady, anything else?" He asked as the dragon gave a grin and responded. "No, that should be enough." The Overlady finished.

Her body then began to transform into black and dark blue smoke, before it's suddenly erupted out through the halls and out of the tomb.

In the middle of the forest, two girls could be seen holding on to each other, their eyes closed as tears began to fall from their eyes.

"Enri..." The younger girl squeaked out as the older girl hugged her, trying to shield the little girl.

A Knight could be seen raising his blade above the two slowly, laughing maniacally as he prepared to kill the girls.

"Don't look!" Enri told the little one as she hugged her even tighter...

Enri began to panic as she heard the words of a man screaming for her to take her sister and run.

(I have to find some way to protect my little sister...) Enri thought to herself as she braced for the knights blade cleave through her with ease...

But for some reason, the attack never came...

Enri opened her eyes as she saw dark blue smoke began to cover the entire area, leaving the knights startled.

"W-what is th-this?!" One of the two knights questioned as a figure cloaked in a dark blue robe emerged from the dense smoke.

Before the armored knights could even react, the cloaked figure raised their left arm as the thick dark blue smoke flew into one of the knights, and as if thousands of blades pierced from inside his body, the man began to scream, but he was quickly silenced as the cloaked figure raised a blue clawed hand from their cloak, the clawed hand then crushed into a fist as the blue smoke inside of the knight coiled around and crushed his heart, causing him to fall over dead.

(That was easier than I thought... I didn't know if I could move my body in such complex ways, or if it would even work...) The cloaked figure thought to herself has she walked towards the second knight. "What a weakling... Perhaps you will be a more fitting test of my skills?" Shenron asked as the Knight began to scream.

"A monster! It's a monster!" The man screamed out as he tried to run away.

"Then again... Maybe you're nothing more than a light snack?" The Dragon questioned as the dark smoke coiled around the man like a serpent, strangling him, as it then instantly crushed the knight like a human pancake.

"Pathetic, and I didn't even get to use a single spell." The cloaked Dragon spoke.

(Perhaps these corpses can be useful to me in other ways?) The dragoness thought as she looked over to the first body and opened her Palm.

Suddenly, the thick dark smoke re-entered the man's body as it then morphed into a fully functioning heart made of smoke.

The corpse and then began to stand as it began to shake and violently morph.

It's human skin became dark blue, black claws and horns began to form on its hands feet and head, it's skull began to reshape and its body began to bulge into a much larger form.

When the smoke was done, the human corpse had become a massive hulking draconic beast, incapable of individual thought, only following orders.

Shenron then began to speak. "Shadow Drake, go into the village and destroy anyone who looks like this." Shenron explained as she pointed towards the second corpse.

The Shadow Drake looked at the corpse and nodded, before it then stomped away towards the village.

(I had almost forgotten that spell, by mimicking the missing organs of a dead body, my smoke can corrupt the body into a mindless creature hellbent on doing whatever I command of it... Now that I think about it, it was kind of dumb to summon such a powerful defense monster only to send it away, Crap...) Shenron thought silently as she then removed her cloaks Hood.

Suddenly, a crimson red portal opened behind the Dragon as two armored figures walked out.

"It took longer than expected to get here, sorry for the wait." Albedo apologized as Megatron then spoke. "Indeed, we would have gotten here sooner, but I was having... complications with my armo... My arm." Megatron set with a sudden pause.

The Shadow Dragoness then spoke. "There is no need to apologize you two, you got here just in time." Shenron explained as the succubus spoke. "Thank you my lady... Now, how would you like me to deal with these pathetic lower life forms?" Albedo questioned as she looked at the human girls.

"These two are no threat, the humans wearing the armor are with enemies we are after." Shenron Explained as Albedo nodded her head.

But before they could leave, Shenron noticed something on the older girl. "Your bleeding... Drink this, it should help." The Dragon said as she offered Enri a red liquid.

"B-blood?!" Enri freaked out in confusion, before she then reached out to take the red liquid.

"Don't do it Enri!" The little girl pleaded, which confused the dragoness.

(I just saved their lives, why don't they trust me?) Shenron questioned in her head as Albedo, enraged by the siblings caution, raised her axe prepared to strike, as the silent Megatron pointed their right arm at the girls as it pulsed purple.

However, thankfully before anything could happen, The Overlady spoke. "Albedo! Megatron! Don't! Lower your weapons at once!" Shenron commanded as they both lowered their weapons. "As you wish my Lady" Albedo said as Megatron silently Kneeled.

The dragon then kneeled down to the little girls as she placed the golden lined container in Enri's hands. "This is not blood, it's a healing potion." Shenron explained as Enri then drank the potion as the massive bloody scar on her back was instantly healed. "Wow..." Enri spoke an amazement as the Dragon spoke to her. "The pain is gone I presume?"

She asked as Enri then answered. "Yes it is." She said as Shenron then asked another question. "Do you perhaps know what magic is?" She questioned as the human then spoke.

"Yes, I have a friend who frequents our village, he's a pharmacist who practices magic." She explained as Shenron smirked and spoke. "Very good, then as you can probably understand, I am also a magic caster." Shenron explained as she then raised her hand as the black smoke then became a very light see-through blue aura.

"Soul sucking shield." She spoke as the light blue aura transformed into a dome protecting the girls. "I just cast a protection spell around you, as long as you are inside of blue barrier, nothing should be able to harm you." Shenron explained as she then gave the girls a set of horns. "Just in case something happens though, take these horns, if you blow on them, an army of goblins will appear to do your bidding. Do not hesitate to use them if you need to." Shenron explained as she started to leave.

"Excuse me!" Enri spoke as Shenron turned around. "Thank you so much for saving us!" Enri spoke as her sister also spoke. "Thank you very much Miss!"

"It was no problem." Shenron spoke as Enri then spoke once more. "Wait! Can I please have the name of the woman who saved me?" Enri asked, as Shenron then turned around and gave a toothy Grin as She Spoke. "Very well! Remember this name very well! And tell all you meet of my power! I am the Divine Dragon Shenron!"

Meanwhile, in the village, both villagers and the armored soldiers stood in shock and terror as they watched a massive blue and black beast grab one of the soldiers by his leg before crushing it and throwing him high into the air.

As the man fell to the ground, the hulking beast jumped directly to where the man landed, instantly flattening the soldier into paste.

"GRLOOOOOOOAAAARGH!!!" The beast roared out as a soldier tried to run away, but before he could even turn around, the Shadow Drake had already ripped the man in half as it roared mindlessly once more.

"DIE!" One of the soldiers said as he tried to stab the creature in the back, but he could only watch in a horror as his blade shattered apart into splinters from the tip all the way down to the hilt, slowly cracking apart just like the man's confidence until it completely shattered.

Then, with unnatural speed, the monster turned around and grabbed the man as it then bit off the mans entire upper torso.

Another soldier who was spectating immediately made a dash for safety, before the Shadow Drake made him explode with a single punch through the spine.

"It's only killing the men in our armor, and it's enjoying it!" One of the folders said as another began to speak. "God's help us all! We're doomed!" Said the other soldier.

"You idiots! Hurry up and kill this damn monster! This cannot be happening! I'm too rich to die in a hole like this!" A captain of the soldiers said. "You men! Be my Shields so I can escape!" The man screamed out as another told him to stand his ground.

The man continued to scream out in panic as he began to offer hundreds of gold pieces for someone to rescue him.

The man eventually fell over from panicking too much as the beast simply squashed his chest with it's foot, and continued to do so over and over and over as the man screamed in pain.

"Hold steady!" Another soldier said as he spoke once more. "Stay strong! We will stand our ground and defend our brothers! Let's give the archers time to retreat! Prepare for battle!" The man rallied the other soldiers as they charged at the beast.

The beast finally stopped stomping and caving in the one soldiers chest, it gave a demented smile as a then squashed the man's skull with its foot before it began charging towards the other soldiers.

The Shadow Drake then swung its arms at the soldiers, splitting them in half from the amount of shear Force they were being hit with.

The commander of the soldiers tried to charge at the beast, which then simply gave him a demented grin of joy and pleasure as it jumped up high in the air.

Not even the second later, the beast came barreling down with both of his fists in a smashing position as it slammed it's fists down perfectly timed with it's landing, causing the commander to explode into red and silver paste.

The beast began to stomp towards the other soldiers as it then heard a voice and immediately stopped all movement. "Cease Shadow Drake, you have served me well." Said a feminine voice.

Suddenly everyone in the village, both villagers and soldiers looked up in the sky as they saw a figure in a dark blue cloak with a black and blue Dragon Mask covering their face.

Alongside the cloaked figure with a ginormous hulking behemoth, slightly larger than the Shadow Drake. And on the other side of the cloaked figure was a woman in black armor.

"My name is Shenron, it is a pleasure to meet all of you." Shenron said as she introduced herself, all of the soldiers still looking tensely at the massive hulking beast behind her.

"Don't worry about my Shadow Drake, no harm will come to you now. Tell your master of my kindness... However, the next time you commit such heinous acts in this area, I will bring ruin and death to your entire Kingdom... and Please, make sure you speak my name to everyone!" Shenron announced as the soldiers ran away in terror.

(Acting is hard... No wonder why there's no more actors in my world...) Shenron thought to herself as a villager then spoke.

"Pardon me ma'am" an old man spoke as Shenron then turned around. "Hmmm?"

"Why did you come here?!" The old man questioned as Shenron then spoke. "I could not bear to see such a heinous acts being committed, considerate a moral obligation." Shenron explained as the villagers looked confused.

(Do they not trust me? Of course... I see now...) Shenron thought to herself before speaking.

"However, my deeds are not free of charge, I do require compensation for this act." Dragon spoke, which seemed to ease the villagers.

(As I expected, just like how people in my old world are suspicious of those who act selflessly, the same goes for here Aswell. But by making them think that I want payment, it has eased their confusion and distrust.

I only requested money from the village as to not raise suspicion, but knowledge is what I was truly after. The village Chief and his wife believed my story about being a hermit who used magic, yet was unfamiliar with the world. They were thankfully eager to educate me about the village and the land around it.

I find it odd that they were so trusting of me when they found out I was a magic caster, I wonder what kind of figures exist in this world who use magic to make people so trusting of random strangers.

Sadly though, my Yggdrasil currency had no worth in this world, however the gold which the coins were made out of did have worth, though I figured it would be best not to go flashing around the coins as to raise suspicion and intrigue.

After learning such, I asked about the surrounding territories.

Apparently, we were in carne village, located in the Re-Estize Kingdom.

On the other side, is the Baharuth Empire, which has been at bad terms with the Re-Estize Kingdom for hundreds of years.

Finally the last territory is called the Slane Theocracy, a third country that is located to the south of both provinces.

While it is possible that Baharuth are the ones massacring these villages, it's most likely that both are actually being played by the Slane Theocracy, who are pretending to be Baharuth in order to sour relations between the two kingdoms even more.) Shenron thought ht over all the information she had gathered and she was suddenly interrupted by the old man.

"Is there something bothering you?" The man questioned as Shenron shook her head no.

"Is there anything else of importance that I need to know about this region?" Shenron questioned as the man then began to explain how the closest area to the village was the capital E-rantel.

He then explained how there were many monsters in having the nearby area, but adventurers were always around to kill the monsters, he then explained that adventurers were like mercenaries that hunted monsters. He then also explained that there was even a guild in E-rantel in case Shenron wanted to hire their services.

Soon after, the shadow dragon found herself and her to trusted guardians, watching a funeral for those who had died in the attack. "I could use a wand of Resurrection to bring back their loved ones... However, I've read more than enough of the Bible to know where that leads... As painful as it is, my best option is to do nothing and let them Mourn in peace." Shenron Whispered to herself over by a tree away from the villagers.

Shortly after, Shenron followed by Megatron and Albedo could be seen walking down the road.

(Thanks to my kind act, the story of how Shenron saved this village will spread far and wide, hopefully to any other players if they are here. However, it is probably best to not use magic to attack humans unless it is the only available option.) the Overlady thought to herself as she and her guardians walked down the road silently.

"Today is measurement was a great success, let us Head Back Home Albedo, Megatron." Shenron explained as Albedo then answered. "Understood my lady."

Suddenly a passing human walked by as Shenron could feel Albedo glaring at the human. "You seem to dislike humans..." Shenron spoke as the succubus then responded. "What's to like about them? Their weak and pathetic, just tiny insects that exist to be crushed at your feet." Albedo explained as the dragon responded. "Albedo, even if you need to fake it and act as best as you can, I need you to treat the humans with kindness." The dragon said as but succubus looked down in thought.

Sharon then noticed another villager talking to the chief as she walked towards them both. "What seems to be the problem?" The dragon asked as the village Chief then spoke. "Lady Shenron, thank goodness, I was just told them there are more soldiers heading toward the village at breakneck speed." He explained as the Dragon then responded.

"I can handle this situation, I want you to gather all the villagers around your house, when you are done, come meet me at the Town square." Shenron explained as the village chief nodded in agreement and went together all of the villagers into his house.

Soon, once all of the villagers were put away, a massive army of warriors on horseback entered the village.

"I am the chief Royal warrior for the Re-Estize Kingdom, Gazef Stronoff, the King has ordered me to hunt down the next I have been attacking surrounding villages. Your people are safe now, we will do all we can to protect you." The man explained as The village Chief then spoke. "Thank you general Gazef." He said as the general then looked at Shenron and spoke. "Are you the chief of this village? Who is this woman standing beside you? she looks peculiar." Gazef asked as The village Chief began to speak. "This gentlewoman saved-"

he was then cut off as Shenron began to speak. "Don't worry about that now, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance general. My name is Shenron, I'm a simple magic user who stumbled upon this Town while it was being ransacked by those knights." She explained as Gazef then got off of his horse and spoke. "What?... These people would have been lost without you, thank you Lady Shenron." He said as one of his knights spoke.

"General! We've spotted a large army of unknown origin and their surrounding the village even as we speak!" The man said as we see soldiers gathering in the far distance.
