When Overhaul walked out to the room, Chrono was standing next to his chair, hands behind his back. At the sight of Overhaul, Y/N flashed a bright smile his way. Their e/c eyes were filled with happiness and excitement, which Overhaul couldn't understand.

He never smiled, never showed off the bottom half of his face, and always spoke in a monotonous tone. His overall personality was very cold, so why would Y/N, a bright and happy person, want anything to do with him?

"Hey there, Overhaul!"

Y/N greeted, their head tilting to the side as they smiled even wider. Overhaul's mouth was dry as he let out a greeting back. He then sat down, making the mistake of letting his eyes settle on Shigaraki, who was deadly silent next to Y/N.

He was slightly slouched forward, crimson red eyes full of rage and hate for Overhaul. He seemed angry for some reason. Perhaps it was because Y/N, his lover, was paying more attention to the business partner he had arranged a meeting with than him. Overhaul cleared his throat, feeling strangely uneasy.

"So, about the quirk-erasing bullets..."

Overhaul started, and Shigaraki suddenly cut him off, his voice dripping with hatred and venom. The pale blue-haired male got up from the sofa, sending an unreadable look towards Y/N.

"Excuse me, Overhaul. I have to talk to Y/N here for a second."

Y/N seemed nervous as they got up to follow Shigaraki out of the room. After they exited, Chrono turned to look at Overhaul, a curious expression on his face.

"What was that about?"

"I don't know."

Overhaul said flatly, trying to hide how his heart rate had increased, his hands getting sweaty in his gloves.

What was Shigaraki going to do to Y/N? He wasn't going to hurt them, was he? If he was, Overhaul would-

Suddenly, Y/N rushed into the room, bottom lip trembling. On their collarbone were a few small hickeys, ones that had just been bitten down.

Chrono let out a sound of surprise, while Overhaul got to his feet, protectiveness rushing through his whole body. He walked over to them, and placed his hands on their shoulders, ignoring the slight shiver that went through him at the contact of another human being.

"What did he do to you?"

Overhaul asked angrily, taking in the trembling form of Y/N, and they bit their lip, looking towards the ground. They looked so small, so sad, and it hurt him.

"Please. Tell me."

He pleaded softly, eyes studying Y/N's face. Overhaul held out his arms awkwardly, and Y/N barreled into his chest, nearly knocking him over. Their body shook with heavy sobs, and Overhaul felt his black dress shirt getting soaked with tears.

"H-He-"

Y/N started to say, hiccuping slightly, and Overhaul held them close. He heard Chrono leave the room in silence, which Overhaul greatly appreciated. He knew that the white-raincoat wearing male could always be trusted to do the right things in the right situations.

"What did he do?"

Overhaul asked again, feeling rage building inside of him. He had a strong feeling that Shigaraki had done something terrible to Y/N to make them cry like this.

"H-He forced himself on me... I told h-him not to- I can't be with him anymore...! He's too- too possessive..."

Y/N looked up at Overhaul with teary eyes. A stray tear fell down the side of their face, which Overhaul quickly rubbed away with a gloved thumb.

"It's okay, you're safe here with me."

He said, cupping their face with two hands, and they smiled softly through their tears. Y/N then buried his face into Overhaul's shirt, taking in a heavy breath. Their shoulders relaxed.

"I... I love you, Overhaul."

Their sentence surprised Overhaul a bit, and he looked down at them with wide eyes. He didn't expect this.

"...I do too."

Overhaul said softly, rubbing a hand on their head. He then glanced at the hickies littering their neck, covering them up with his right hand.

He was going to cover up those with his own later. Y/N was his now, and Overhaul wanted Shigaraki to know that the next time they met.
