COVID-19
"Hey, you. Yeah, you," a masked male pokes at you with a stick; his golden eyes lidded in what seems like contempt.
Good. He's gotten your attention.
"You're the reader. Y/N, right?" He goes on to say, withdrawing the stick; the object returning to his side. You stare at the stick — wondering why the heck he couldn't have taken a more humane approach — and he notices.
With sigh, he dips his head toward you in a what seemed like a gesture of apology.
"...sorry. Necessary precautions, with how the world is right now. COVID-19, you get me?" He mutters, before straightening up; blinking at you.
"My name is Overhaul, or... Kai Chisaki, as some may know me," the male murmurs, scowling visibly under his mask at the usage of his real name. It seems that he hates it.
Shaking himself, Overhaul then clears his throat, tapping the side of his plague mask.
"I suppose that you've noticed that the author hasn't updated in a while. For," he pause, glancing at the golden watch that fits snugly on his right wrist,
"...almost a full month. How irresponsible and lazy of them. But it's fine, we don't need Tord here. I've just decided to take matters into my own hands and make this little... 'oneshot?' Is this what the teenager calls it? Ah, whatever..." Overhaul mutters, shrugging as he glances up at you once again. His golden eyes are now glowing with a crazed light.
"COVID-19. What a harmful, disgusting virus. I'm here to teach you how to stay safe against it. But first, the symptoms."
Suddenly, the door opens, and Chronostasis walks in; pushing a cart with what seems like a white device on it. It's a projector, from further inspection.
The pale-haired male turns on the projector, and a fancy-looking presentation flickers to life on the wall, reading: Symptoms of COVID-19.
Overhaul then dips his head toward the male, and Chronostasis does the same, before he glances at you.
"Make sure to stay safe," the handsome male says simply, before exiting the room. You nod, before directing your attention to Overhaul, who has put some glasses on; a serious expression on his face.
"Alright. Here are the symptoms."
He has a remote in his hand, and with a simple click, the slide switches. The slide reads:
—
Symptoms
Before developing the actual symptoms, people may have 1 - 14 days of just being sick with it.
The most common symptoms are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. However, in severe cases, the patient may experience difficulty breathing.
Note: the elderly and people with already existing medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease may be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill.
Most people (80%) can recover from the disease without needing special treatment.

Overhaul allows you some time to read over the information, before turning the projector off. His gaze meets yours, before he sighs, removing glasses.
"...as I said, I'm here to show you how to stay safe against the virus. I'd hate for you to get it..."
Then, with a wave of his hand, he beckons you to the next room.
You stand up, and Overhaul leads you into the next room. There's a sink, and on the side lays soap, aftershave, and toothpaste — the essentials. He grabs the bottle of soap, and shoves it out towards you; pressing the pump of it.
Cool soap pools in the middle of your palms, and you watch as he sheds his own gloves; eyes narrowing in irritation as he does the same for himself.
"Now, the most important part of staying healthy against COVID-19 is washing your hands. Thoroughly. If you don't have access to water and soap, use hand sanitizer."
The Yakuza leader puts emphasis on the last word as he scrubs. The next words that come from his mouth leave you speechless.
"...scrub for about the amount of time it takes to sing about... two Happy Birthday songs. Like this..."
Overhaul began to sing softly under his breath, face flushing a pale pink in what seemed like embarrassment. You quickly hurry to scrub your hands as well, avoiding eye contact with him.
After he finished, he turned the water on warm. Suds of soap swirl down the drain as he holds his hands under the running water, scrubbing them vigorously. After Overhaul's finished, he allows you to do the same.
Paper towels are then handed in by Rappa, who seems to brighten up at the sight of you. It's been a while, after all.
"Hey, Y/N! I've missed ya! How about we fight after this?"
Overhaul lets out a sigh as he hands you a paper towel, eyes glittering with annoyance as he dries off his own hands.
"...my next point. Social distancing," he mutters, gaze fixating on you.
"Stay away from others and large crowds. Don't get too close, or the virus could spread between the two of you. For example, don't fight Rappa at this point in time. The two of you won't have personal space, and that could cause transferring of germs. Of course, this is assuming that either one of you has COVID-19."
You nod, while Rappa sighs, hanging his shoulders in defeat. He looks disappointed, and you can't help feel bad. Overhaul merely ignores the male.
"It's for your own good. Trust me, you won't want to get the virus."
Rappa is about to say something, before he sneezes without covering his mouth. Golden eyes widen in shock, and you swear that Overhaul's about to have a stroke as he produces a small bottle of hand sanitizer from the inside of jacket; chucking it at Rappa's face. The large male manages to catch it, before rubbing at his face with his free hand.
The Yakuza looks like he's about to murder someone. Namely, Rappa.
"My, aren't you the example for everything you shouldn't do?!" Overhaul screeches, and you watch with wide eyes as the male deconstructs Rappa in an instant. Blood splatters everywhere, and you question if this made this situation even better.
Probably not.
Regret seems to fill Overhaul as he stands there, panting heavily. He turns to you.
"I... I apologize. ...however, before I have to... go... just... don't sneeze or cough without covering your mouth, and please, do not touch your face with unwashed hands."
The male pauses, before nodding his head towards the direction of his office.
"Go to my office. I have a sheet of what not and what to do during this period of time. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go clean myself thoroughly. Please stay safe and healthy, by the way," he says, before heading out of the room.
You wave goodbye, before following his orders. You look at the sheet.
You nod to yourself, determination spreading throughout you. You were going to take the newly learned information to heart.
