"Overhaul, what's up?"

I asked as I entered the room, noticing how red Overhaul's face was. He was seated at his desk, wearing a black hoodie with the hood up. He wasn't wearing his usual black shirt with a white tie, for some strange reason. Instead of his usual plague mask, he wore a black surgical mask.

Overhaul refused to meet my curious gaze as he attempted to say calmly, pulling his hood down to cover his pretty golden eyes,

"There's nothing wrong, Y/N."

I glanced at his attire with a skeptical look on my face. I walked closer to him, making Overhaul flinch. His yellow gaze met mine when he peeked out from under his hood, and I sighed.

"C'mon, tell me. It's not normal for you to be wearing a hoodie. I know something's wrong. Besides, you're acting really weird. Usually, you're really confident."

I stopped right next to him and pulled the hood down, gasping at what I saw.

He had cat ears on his head, the ears flattening as they were exposed to the world. They were brown, like his hair. Overhaul scowled at the ground as I stared at them in awe.

"Y/N, seriously?"

He said, his voice muffled by the black mask he had on. I smiled at him, and let a hand graze over his cat ears, which made them flick up immediately.

Overhaul seemed to stifle a noise of pleasure as I stroked them. I glanced down at his face, and his golden eyes were closed in bliss.

"Aww, you're so cute..."

I teased, and he struggled to retort back,

"S-Shut up... This is disgusting, being pet by you. Think of all the germs on your hands, you should've worn gloves-"

I cut him off by leaning down to kiss him on the cheek.

"Shh, just enjoy it. Anyways, while I'm petting you, care to explain what happened?"

Overhaul rolled his eyes as he started to explain, subconsciously rubbing against my hand.

"I was hit by some cat quirk, it'll go away in a day according to the user... Stupid quirks..."

He grumbled, and I pouted.

"Aw, I was hoping you'd be like this for a bit longer... You're so adorable with those kitten ears of yours..."

"Be quiet."

He snapped at me and I giggled, hugging him tightly, making him flinch.

"Don't hug me!"

"I want to though..."

"...Fine."
