"Hey~Mahiru~." Y/n greeted her best friend as he opened the door to the apartment he lived in with his uncle.

Mahiru sighed as Y/n pushed past him and walked into his living room then flopped on his couch.

"Y/n! I didn't tell you can come in! Why are you even here?" He asked the girl with a bit of annoyance in his tone.

"What? Can't a girl see her best friend with no explanation?" Y/n asked smiling at him.

"Sometimes I think you come here just to freeload." Mahiru said to her walking into the kitchen.

"Ugh! You're no fun, Mahi~." Y/n whined at him.

Mahiru sighed yet smiled happy to see his old friend that's be in America studying abroad.

"I know you haven't eaten yet so you're staying for lunch." Mahiru said.

"Fine, I won't argue with you. I'm fine with whatever, Mahiru." Y/n smiled at him when turned over the back of the couch to look at him.

Y/n turned back around on the crouch, hearing a meow come from the floor of the living room.

On the floor in front of Y/n's feet was a black cat with red eyes and a cute little red bell collar around his neck.

"Awww~," Y/n awed at the small cat, picking it up. "Mahi~I didn't know you had a cat!"

Mahiru looked out from the kitchen noticing Kuro in Y/n hands.

"Oh. That's Kuro. He was a stray, I picked him up recently." Mahiru said.

"Well, he's adorable, Mahiru. I bet he gets all the girls." Y/n said.

Mahiru chuckled rolling his eyes a bit. "Heh, yeah you can say that." He said.

Y/n frowned Mahiru's way then smiled back in Kuro's direction.

"Hi, Kuro! I'm Y/n! It's nice to meet you," Y/n said to him, chuckling a bit. "Your name is cool, it means black since you're a black cat." She chuckled.

"I hope you took good care of Mahi. I hope you don't cause too much trouble for him." Y/n said giving Kuro a close-eyed smile.

Kuro flinched hearing her saying "I hope you don't cause too much trouble for him" if only she knew.

Y/n frequented Mahiru's house to see Kuro more then her best friend. Kuro didn't mind the girl bothering him, he quite enjoyed her company. But, Y/n has only seen Kuro in his cat form.

Mahiru knows about Kuro being a vampire but Y/n didn't. Well she's going know now when she decided to visit Mahiru's place in the evening.

"Yo! Mahiru, I was thinking we could have a movie night, because I'm bored sitting at home." Y/n said, flying opening the apartment.

Mahiru seemed panicked when he stopped her from entering the living room.

"Dude? What gives?" She asked squinted her eyes at the boy who chuckled nervously.

"H-Hey, Y/n. T-Tonight's not a good time." He stuttered, he seemed nervous about something.

Y/n raised an eyebrow at Mahiru. "Why? You have a girl over or something?" She asked smirking.

Mahiru flushed. "What?! N-No, that's—doesn't matter you have to leave right now is not a good time." He said.

Y/n frowned and tried to step pass the boy. "But, I want to cuddle with Kuro and watch a monster movie with my best friend."

Mahiru frowned. He really doesn't want to lie to the girl but really has no other choice when it comes to keeping Kuro's secret.

"Mahiru... is there...is there something I don't know about?" Y/n asked him.

Mahiru stiffened at her question. "W-What?" He asked.

Y/n scoffed as she ducked under Mahiru's arm and went into the living room as shouted to him. "Well, if you not then I'm just gonna go in."

"Wait!? Y/n!" Mahiru exclaimed after her. Her eyes widened at what she saw sitting in the middle of the living room. A boy with blue hair and red eyes with a bell around his neck? Wait?

Kuro sighed. "Ugh, what a pain. Mahiru didn't tell you, did he, Y/n?"

"Huh? Tell me what?! Who are you and how do know my name?" Y/n questioned bit frightened.

"I'm Kuro. And I know your name because you told me." Y/n's eyes widened.

She wanted to test something so she crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow.

"Y/n, what are you thinking abou—." The girl cut off Mahiru.

"If you're really Kuro, then tell about that bell around your neck." She said.

Kuro sighed but gave in to the girl's antics. "Ugh. What a pain," He mumbled. "Mahiru gave it to me when he found me."

Y/n squinted suspiciously. Mahiru grabbed my shoulders sighing and said. "It really is Kuro. I was shocked when I found out he was a vampire, while servamp to be exact."

Y/n's eyes widened again. "Wait, that cat is a what?!" She shouted in shock.

'Ugh this is going to be a long night.' Both Kuro and Mahiru thought as the girl spat out questions for the both of them.
