"You ain't feeling your food?" Zay asked Aspen as she just stared at her food. "You want something else?" 

Looking up, she smiled to be polite. "No, it tastes fine."

"How would you know? You ain't eat nothing." He joked.

"I'm sorry, I'm just in my thoughts." She mumbled eating some of the ziti.

Today was Thursday meaning today was the day she spent Zay. Zay cooked for her and Shy but they both could tell something wrong with her cause she would usually be talking their ears off about an experiment or something. 

"Talk to me Princess Aspy." He looked at her.

"You ever got your heartbroken PopZay?" It's been a week and three days since Jamie and her stopped talking and her heart was still heavy.

"Have I?" He chuckled sarcastically. "Yeah, once."

"How'd you get over?" 

"I met Shy." He spoke grabbing her hand as she smiled rubbing her eight month belly. "It took a while but I got over it."

"Do you still talk to the person that broke ya heart?"

Chuckling, he looked at her. "It's your mother."

"Y'all are still so close though, if she broke your heart how can you forgive her?"

"Like I said it took some time but a lot of maturity went with that decision." He told her. "At first I couldn't even exchange words with her because I was so bitter but I just understood shit wasn't meant to be. I ain't wanna force nothing."

"I wish it were that simple." She mumbled forking her ziti.

"You heartbroken?" He asked as she sadly nodded. "By that boy with the voice like Lil Bibby?"

"His name is Jamie." Shy laughed.

"Yes." She rolled her eyes chuckling.

"What happened?"

"I expressed my feelings to him and he felt the same way but he said I deserve someone better not knowing he's perfect the way he is."

"Sound like your father before him and Memo got together." He shook his head. "You can either do one or two things. You can either move on or fight for y'all."

"I don't want to chase something he doesn't want, he made his decision when he walked out of me so I have no choice but to move on."

"I would rather you leave boys alone until you 21 but no one never listens to me." He joked making her roll her eyes playfully.

"Thank you PopZay." She smiled eating her food then talking to the about a new experiment making them laugh, Aspen was back.

Jamie watched as Gee, Dell, KC and some random nigga walked in his house. He hugged all of them except the unknown boy, he just spoke to him. "Jamie this Jug."

"Wassup?" Jug asked sitting down.

"Waddup." Jamie nodded then sat back down pulling out his phone and started watching Aspen snaps.

"So my bestie needs some dick! Who volunteering as tribute?" Ky yelled recording Aspen while laughed. "Y'all see her glowing though? That's that get rid of a fuck boy glow."

Jamie mugged Ky through the phone smacking his teeth making Gee and Dell laugh. "You looking mad as shit."

"Cause Ky stay on some bullshit."

"Imma assume that fuck boy they talm bout you." Dell said.

"Yeah." He nodded. "But she ain't get rid of me, we just ain't talking right now."

"What you do?" KC asked.

"Why I automatically gotta be the wrong one?"

"Because we know you nigga." Dell joke

"She told me her feelings for me and I told her we couldn't be together so she told me to forget about her."

"I thought y'all was together though?" KC said in a question tone. "When you introduced her to us, you was territorial as fuck."

"For real, was watching her the whole night like you was her security guard." Dell laughed.

"I'm just protective over her because a lot of people be tryna walk over her." He explained. "She didn't have to go through shit, she not like anybody you'll ever meet." 

"What you mean?" Gee asked.

"She a genius, she been skipping grades since she was 6 so she only fifteen. She graduating this year with us but she be teaching her own classes, she got mad schools all over the world contacting her, she super naive, nice as hell and she rich."

"Rich?" They all asked in unison, even the boy he didn't know. 

"Like Malayah rich?" Dell asked.

"Nah, Lay family is rich. Aspen herself is rich but her family worth trillions too."

"Damnn!" Dell and KC said. 

"The fuck she be doing? Can she put me on?" Jug asked laughing.

"Look her up, Aspen Walker." He remarked sarcastically but they all pulled their phones out making him laugh. 

"Oh shit!" Dell dropped his phone covering his mouth in shock as they looked at him. "She related to Tac? JC? Josiah? YOO!" Dell asked as Jamie nodded.

"I know you ain't talking bout the OG Tac? The one that died like three months ago?" KC asked.

"That nigga the real GOAT!" Gee said. "I saw him smack a police officer and walk away like it wasn't shit, that's the realist nigga I ever met."

"JC a real ass nigga too." Jug spoke up. "He just opened a apartment building only for the homeless and he paying all their bills until they could cover they own shit."

"You know them personally?" Gee asked Jamie.

"I grew up with all of them, they really like another side of my family." He told them.

"So why you not rich like em? I would have been telling them to put me on." Dell said.

"Word and you said this could be ya bitch right? I would of been making her buy me everything." Jug said making Jamie raise a eyebrow.

"Watch ya mouth brah, don't refer her to no bitch."

"I'm just saying if she was my bitch-"

"That's the thing, she ain't yo bitch or anybody else bitch cause she ain't a bitch and I ain't gon tell you again." He spoke seriously.

"Chill." KC said.

"So you gon get ya girl or continue this stupid shit?" Gee asked deciding to change the subject, it was getting too heated.

"Imma get my best friend back but we just gon be best friends." 

"When she get a nigga, that shit gon crush ya soul." KC laughed.

"Nigga gon be listening to A Boogie, straight in his bag." Dell joked making them laugh.

"You said you was gon forever and ever, you told me forever and ever, I shoulda known you was lying." KC rapped.

"I feel like I'm stalking you, I swear. I keep on watching yo snaps, I'm stuck on yo Instagram." Gee money added.

"If you ever try to leave me alone, I just hope you don't turn into a thot." Jug said making everybody laugh harder.

"Fuck y'all." Jamie flicked them off laughing his self.

"Where Ky and Indi? They usually over here." 

"They ain't talking to me either." Jamie shook his head, he found the shit so petty.

"Of course they gon stick by their friend." KC laughed.

"I don't get it though." Gee spoke inhaling from the blunt. "You see the shit Ky and I went through, why you tryna go through that?" 

"That's exactly why I ain't gon go do that, you and Ky barely talk now. Y'all let y'all relationship end y'all friendship, I'm not gon know what to do without Aspen."

"I promise you seeing her with another will get you a different type of mad." Gee laughed then coughing. "You gon understand why I beat the fuck out of Kaiser that day."

"Wait, when you beat Kaiser up?" KC asked looking up from him phone.

"Sometime last year, I saw her hugged up with some nigga at the movies. I beat the fuck out of both of em."

"All while he was with another bitch." Jamie laughed.

"You laughing like that ain't ya cousin." Dell added.

"I fucked Gee up after that." Jamie looked at him blankly.

"You see she still ain't go no where." Gee laughed with confidence.

Before any of them could say anything Kaiser and India walked in Jamie house, they looked at the boys and both rolled their eyes. "Why y'all smoking in my aunt house?" India asked snatching the blunt out Jug hand and ashing it.

"You don't even know that man." Dell laughed.

"We don't care, you would think someone would have common sense to realize my aunt Tammy can't inhale smoke." Kaiser said going up the stairs with India following.

"I ain't used to them ignoring you." KC laughed.

"They'll get over it." Jamie waved it off.

"I saw ya new song you dropped got over 300,000 views, you grinding out here." Gee spoke making him raise his raise his eyebrows in surprise pulling out his phone.

"This my first time checking the views, I didn't even know." He said as he scrolled through the comments. "I see ya shit on the recommended."

He clicked Gee Money song and bobbed his head to the beat as he started rapping. KC, Dell and Jug began mumbling to the words while Gee recorded them putting them on snapchat. Jamie lit his blunt and listened to the lyrics, analyzing them.

"This shit fye." Jamie continued nodding his head.

"Y'all should drop some shit together." KC said.

"I been telling him that for a while, we could do a joint mixtape. Everybody gon be bumping our shit." Gee smiled looking at him.

"Let's do a song and if it come out how we all thinking then a joint mixtape ain't gon be shit." 

"My nigga." Gee laughed grasping his hand just as Indi and Ky came back downstairs. "Come here." He said looking directly at Ky.

"What?" She asked standing in front of him as he grabbed her waist making her roll her eyes. "Garrett, I'm not up for the games today." 

"What's wrong?" He asked looking directly in her eyes licking his lips.

 "Just not feeling today."

"Why the fuck you in my face?" India asked Jug making everybody look towards their way.

"Damn, I took a glance at you."

"Define glace cause you been in my damn face since I walked in, you would have had better luck just speaking."

"Bitches be stuck up as hell like you ain't even allat for you to be acting all bougie."

"If I ain't allat get the fuck out my face weird ass nigga." 

"Bitch-"

"Call me another bitch and I promise you Imma get my cousin to beat you the fuck up."

"Fuck yo cousin!" 

"You don't wanna do that cuz." Jamie laughed still scrolling on his phone barely paying attention.

"Promise you, you don't." Dell chuckled. "Just leave it alone." 

"Y'all love tryna bully somebody." Ky shook her head as Gee pulled her onto his lap.

"Like I said fuck yo cousin."

"So you want ya one? Cause I'm the cousin she referring to." Jamie stood up pointing towards the door.

"It's whatever." Jug got up walking towards the door making him laugh, nigga don't even know he bout to get fucked up.

"Chill yo." Gee said tapping Ky leg so she can get off him as he stood up stopping them before they can walk outside.

"I told you not to bring this nigga and you bought him anyway, I knew some shit like this was gon happen." Dell said looking at Gee stupidly.

"Yes he did, he did say it." KC cosigned.

Ignoring them he looked at both Jamie and Jug, he already knew Jamie was gon fuck him up but they both was his manz so he ain't want it to go this far. "Chill, I ain't letting this happen so Jug since this his house, you just gon have to leave." 

"I'll see you again." Jug chuckled picking up his coat.

"You know where I live now, see me whenever cuz." Jamie sat back down as Jug left out mumbling shit.

"Who manz is that?" India asked.

"You already know that's Gee Money manz." Ky said. "He always tryna adopt a nigga." 

"And y'all always tryna get Jamie to fight a nigga, what if he would of lost?" 

"I wasn't." Jamie spoke up looking at pictures of him and Aspen.

"Then it would of been a win win, both of them deserve to get their ass whooped." India spoke making him squint in confusion. 

"I don't deserve shit." Jamie spoke up.

"Wasn't talking to you so don't talk to me, thank you." 

"You speaking on me so Imma speak directly to you."

"You want me to directly beat you the fuck up?" 

"You can't beat me." He laughed waving her off.

"They gon jump the shit out of you." Dell spoke looking at Kaiser and India.

"They still wouldn't be able to beat me."

"All this animosity, we gon settle this shit now." Gee money spoke yanking Ky arm to make her sit on his lap. "India and Kaiser, mind y'all business. That's his girl, their business. Let him make his own dumb choices and regrets." 

"I'm not minding my business because both of them put me in it." India spoke making Ky agree.

"Searsly, I'm looking out for both my best friend and my cousin. She so stuck on him to realize it's plenty better niggas out there for her and he so stuck on a dumb ass bitch who using him. They're both too blind to see anything." 

"What Yazy using me for?" Jamie asked finding her words humorous. 

"Sex and money that you don't got but love flexing." India spoke harshly making Dell snort since he wasn't trying to laugh.

"It makes no sense how mean you are." KC said through laughs while everybody else laughed except India and Jamie.

"I'm not mean, I'm real." 

"You talking bout sex and money but I don't give her neither. Even when we was together she barely got a dollar out of me so stop talking bout shit y'all don't know." 

"Just so you know you got a bounty on your head." Ky laughed making Jamie look at her in confusion. "Oh, you forgot who her family was? You thought breaking her heart was just gon be the end of it."

"We'll pray for you." Dell laughed making Jamie wave them off.

"Imma use the same example, you see how you and Gee ruined y'all friendship. Y'all used to be best friends then got in a relationship then when it failed y'all barely talked. Til this day, y'all barely talk." 

"You're wrong though." Ky scrunched up her face. "Our bond was broken for a month, two tops but this is still my best friend above everything."

She wrapped her arms around Gee neck smiling while he kissed her temple. "We been through some shit but Kaiser know she gon be my wife and have all my kids." 

"So what's your excuse now dummy?" Ky mushed their faces together looking at Jamie while he was in deep though.

"This could be us but you playing." Dell joked grabbing India arm making her look down at his hand and tilt her head to the side.

"Wendell, if you don't take your fucking hand off of me." She spoke making him take his hand off quickly.

What if I was making the wrong decision? Nah, I know it gotta be this way. Jamie thought.

Aspen sighed walking to the gas station with Kash onto her hip, she took her baby brother to the park and now she was stopping at the gas station to get some snacks for them. "What you want baby?" She asked as he scrambled up his words making her laugh.

She grabbed a bag of hot cheetos and hot funyons, cookies, some candy and a big bottle of Fuse pink lemonade. She let Kash down for a second so she can get her wallet, after paying for her stuff Kash ran down the aisle making her laugh as she chased after him. As he hit the corner she was right behind him before she bumped into a boy.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She spoke taking a step back looking into his face.

"You good." He spoke looking down at her licking his lips then walking away making her look back at him.

She almost forgot about Kash but quickly remembered since he ran to her hugging her legs making her laugh again. She sighed picking him up then going to grab their stuff from the counter as the boy looked at her, before she could get out the store another boy stopped her.

"You look so good." He smiled at her with low red eyes making her know that he was high. 

"Thank you." She mumbled getting weird vibes from him. She tried to move around him but he stopped her again.

"I'm tryna take you out, get to know you and you could get to know me." 

"I'm not interested." She told him but he wasn't giving up.

"My mother told me to always fight for what I want so Imma do just that, I-"

"Yo, she not interested Jamal." The boy she bumped into said overhearing the conversation seeing how uncomfortable she looked.

"I'm just tryna-"

"She not tryna do nothing though, leave her alone." He spoke looking sternly as Jamal held his hands up surrender.

"Sorry for bothering you." He mumbled walking out the gas station.

"Thank you." She mumbled as the boy held the door open for her.

"I just saw how uncomfortable you looked and I thought you might needed saving, no need to thank me." 

"Other people would have minded their business so thank you." She smiled then stopping holding out her hand. "I'm Aspen." 

Looking at her hand, he chuckled shaking it. Never have a girl ever held out her hand to shake like they was in a business meeting. "I'm Darius."

"Nice meeting you Darius." She spoke walking towards the truck getting in the back while the driver drove off while she still had the same smile on her face.

I should have got his number, I am so dumb. She thought as they pulled into her driveway. I hope I run into him again.
