"Aspen? What are you-" CiCi got cut off by Aspen fist connecting to her mouth, she knocked CiCi to the ground then continued hitting her in her face repeatedly. "Aspen stop! Please." 

Aspen wasn't hearing anything except for all the warnings Jamie gave her about CiCi, she was thinking about all the times CiCi threw shade at her making it seem as if it was a joke, she was thinking about all the days she missed out with Jamie just because she had something against him. She was just hut and she wanted to hurt her as bad.

"Damn Floyd." Nay laughed recording. 

"Aspen! What are you doing?! Stop!" CiCi mother said putting the toddler she was holding down.

"Lady please do not touch my little sister, my nails too cute and if I hit you I'm taking something out of your house to pay for my nails." Lay told her.

"This bitch gets on my nerves." Ky laughed.

CiCi mother pulled Aspen by her hair and Lay swung on her, she kicked her making her fall but her mother held a tight grip on her long hair. Lay fell onto the ground but she still didn't stop swinging, she straddled her continuing to send blows to her head and face.

"The most two humble peacemaking non fighters out the group are the one sending out ass whoopings, who would've fucking known?" Nay laughed.

"Aw come here pretty girl." Ky picked up the toddler who was crying from watching her grandmother and mother getting attacked. "You're so pretty, don't turn out like your mother."

India started stomping CiCi for her cousin, Aspen had angry tears running down her face while blood got on the floor from Aspen fist and CiCi face. Ky rocked the little girl to sleep putting her on the couch then breaking up the fights.

"Y'all tryna kill the girl? Damn come on Rocky and Creed." Nay laughed.

"Is she dead?" Ky asked seeing CiCi looking lifeless.

"No I just kicked her in the lower part of her brain to knock her out so when she wakes up she's going to have a headache for days along with being in pain because the body-"

"Aspen." India cut her off. "We don't need a damn science lesson right now."

"Aspen! I'm going to call your mother and father!"

"Fuck you and your daughter." Aspen stated walking out.

"Lay, why are you going through that lady purse?" Nay laughed recording her for snapchat.

"She only got $50 in here." Lay rolled her eyes putting it in her pocket. "It'll do for two nails."

"This is sad, let's go." Ky shook her head as they all walked out.

Aspen thought finally fighting was going to make her feel better but it didn't, she was hurt. It was so much to handle and just as she thought nothing else could go wrong, she got a call that made her heart stop altogether.

"I can have the charge Cienna and Yazminah have on you dropped by tomorrow but you beat the cop up bad Jamie." Mulan stated going through everything. "His nose is broken and a tooth is missing."

"He should've let me walk away."

"I understand all about wanting to fight and letting people get to you but you got a lot of shit riding now. Your brother got murdered by police so you hate them, I get it I'll feel the same but imagine your mother having to get that call that not one but both of her sons are sitting in jail."

"She here?"

"You know she don't do police Jamie, she said you can call her or she'll see you in court but she's not coming to this precinct."

"She said allat?"

"Every single word."

"Damn, she mad. Where all them at?"

"KC the only one out since he really ain't do nothing." Mulan chuckled making him smirk. "It was easy to get those charges dropped."

"I know he was mad as hell." Jamie chuckled, KC don't do jail.

"Gee is in the next room, when he went to go for his call he hit the cop that take mugshots so he's staying." She stated making Jamie bust out laughing.

"No the fuck he didn't, he mad petty." Jamie continued laughing.

"You know why he did it?"

"When we was taking our pictures the cop told him they was gon have fun in jail tugging his hair while making him their bitch. Nigga waited four whole hours to hit that man."

"Honestly Jamie, you and Gee are going to have to do time."

"What about my little brother?"

"I'm going to push for him to have to do community service or probation since he's the only one out of y'all that don't have a record."

"Aight, I don't care about me as long as he not doing no jail time."

"He's most def not but Imma need for you to cooperate, I can get you and Gee both off with anger management classes, probation, pay a fine and a apology."

"Mulan, I'm not apologizing to that nigga. You know what he said?"

"I saw the video and I'm going to show the judge everything. You're not going to have to go to court for any of this, we're going to keep this all under wraps because you're going to plead guilty to everything."

"Everything like what?"

"Assault on a cop, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The only thing that's going to really hurt you is the assault but luckily, I have a name for myself so I'm going to work with the judge along with the prosecutor so they can see you just a misunderstood hothead."

"If you was anybody else I would of told you to stop talking to me but I trust you with my life so I know you ain't gon do no foul shit."

"Boy, I don't wanna face the wrath of Aspen because you in jail." She chuckled then grabbing her phone that was vibrating like crazy. "I gotta go Jamie."

"What happened? Why ya face like that?"

"Something happened with JC, I don't know. I'll be back tomorrow."

She ran out before he could even say anything else, she grabbed Harlem and they both rushed to the hospital. She couldn't even park right, she was going out of her mind not knowing anything.

"What's going on?" She asked out of breath seeing all her family members in tears.

"They tryna say JC passed away in his sleep but that can't be right." Ralph told her while holding back his tears.

"Where's my husband?" Mulan asked looking around.

"Go in room 360." Skylee told her making her take off.

When she walked in the room Alyssa, Memo, Aspen, Siah, Jaylen, Remy, Avery, Yayo, Mace, JaySean, JJ and Ace was in the all crying. She walked to Jaylen wrapping her arms around his neck as he grabbed her tightly crying.

"I'm always the one in the hospital." Alyssa mumbled staring out of space. "He's always the one holding my hand crying and I never knew how much he hurt until now. He never gets hurt, I always take the pain for him, is he dead?"

"Shush." Yayo told her rubbing her head.

"Is he dead?"

"Alyssa, stop thinking and talking right now."

"He always said he wanted to die before me because he wouldn't be able to handle me not at his side anymore but I want to die before him for the exact reason. Is he dead?"

Alyssa was so zoned out she didn't even know who she was talking to, all she knew was she turned around to kiss her husband but he wasn't breathing. She don't even know how she got to the hospital or how she got dress, she just knew JC wasn't breathing.

"He's healthy you know? He can outrun anyone, he's always boxing, and he's on a diet. He tried to make me eat tofu, what the hell that is? Beats the hell out of me but he likes it. He takes care of his body, he even takes care of my body, always trying to make me doctor appointments. Is he dead?"

" Alyssa." Yayo called her so she can get out of this state of mind.

"Is Memo here? Is she who I'm talking to? Is he dead?"

"Good afternoon y'all." The family doctor Dr.Prescott walked in making them all look at him. "JC isn't dead, he's under medication and I'm taking him off now so he can wake up."

"So why isn't he breathing? She said she turned around and he wasn't breathing." Mason asked.

"He has sleep apnea, it's a disease that causes him to stop breathing while he sleep. JC getting old so no way could it have been detected, he is fine and he can go home once he wakes up."

"Alyssa, you heard him?" Yayo asked.

"Everyday my husband tells me I'm beautiful, even when I got that horrible haircut he made me feel beautiful. You know we've been married for five decades? I've been in love with my husband for 50 years. I like waking up next to him, Is he dead?"

"She's in a dissociation state, it's when something traumatic happen and she can't cope with it, her mind, thoughts, memories nothing is connecting, their all separated right now. She's basically zoned out." Prescott told them.

"Well, when she gon stop?" Memo asked.

"Anybody have a video of him talking? Laughing? That might work."

"I do." Aspen spoke wincing as she reached for her phone to play the videos but Alyssa still continued mumbling.

"Then she has to feel him or hear the real thing but JC is fine, JaySean or Jaylen I need one of y'all to do this."

"I'll do it." Jaylen stood up.

"I just need you to sign some stuff since you're mother isn't really up to anything, once he wake up y'all can just leave."

"Thank you." JaySean said.

"Aspen what happened to ya hand?" Avery asked. "Ya white meat showing, I know you hurting."

"Come on, let me look at it while I get the papers." Prescott said making her get up.

"What happened?" JC mumbled with his eyes close. "Where I'm at?"

"You stopped breathing, you good though." Mason answered.

"Where Alyssa? She okay?"

"She good, just in a shock state."

"What?" JC opened his eyes to see she was mumbling scratching herself. "Ayssa stop."

"Every time JC and I have a argument he buys me hot wings afterwards but we argue almost everyday so we have a fridge full of hotwings basically we eat hotwings everyday. He's been doing that for almost forty years. I thought his way of apologizing would get old but it doesn't, I expect it every single time and love it more than before. Is he dead?"

"This her fifth time asking am I dead in less than two minutes, what the fuck y'all do? Y'all gave her something?" JC sat up.

"Nigga she been like that since she got here." JJ said.

"How did we get here?"

"Don't know, the hospital called Jaylen and he called us."

"Alyssa. I'm right here baby, come back. I'm right here." JC grabbed her face but she continued mumbling. "We're going to be parents to babies again, the twins are coming from Kenya in two days. Baby, I'm alive."

Alyssa stopped mumbling but she still was looking straight ahead until JC grabbed her face making her look at him. She finally blinked as everything came to her, she looked around then looked back at her husband.

"Welcome back." JC chuckled hugging her.

"I'm pissed the fuck off." Avery randomly said making everybody look at him. "Y'all got me fucking crying, cursing out doctors and shit and you alive my nigga? Y'all probably planned this out with y'all old bored asses, pissed me the fuck off. Got us calling the whole family, Memo supposed to be on her honeymoon. Oou I'm mad as hell, you lucky I can't beat y'all."

"Avery!" Remy called out laughing.

"I messed somebody headline up cause I was cutting hair when I heard like I swear to God, y'all mad dramatic. I'm fucking leaving." Avery stated standing up. "JC welcome back though my nigga, stay alive. Love that nigga, I'm out."

"He's so dumb." Mace said making everybody look at him. "Y'all could suck my dick."

"Hold on, hello?" Memo picked up her phone walking out.

Aspen had to get stitches on her knuckle along with a hand splint because it was swollen and bent so she needed it to not bend anymore or her wrist would be broken. She walked in the waiting room seeing they were still looking hurt so she guess no one told them.

"Papa isn't dead." She got their attention. "He's just getting old, it's a sleeping disorder that caused him to stop breathing, he's fine and healthy."

"Thank God." Kai mumbled. "Now I could go back there."

"Seriously, I couldn't see JC like that." Alli spoke as they got up.

"Ralph let's go, I'm pissed the fuck off." Avery stated.

"Nigga what?"

"I'll explain in the damn car, we out. Ny, I'll be home later."

"Aspen, I'm going to punch you in your damn face." Memo glared at her with her father on the right side of her.

"What did I do?"

"You going to people house to fight mothers?" Siah asked. "Aspen, you bugging the fuck out now."

"I went to fight CiCi because she claiming Jamie raped her, he's sitting in jail because she pressed charges on her."

"Been there." Ralph laughed walking out with Avery.

"And I fought her mother because she tried to drag Aspen." Lay spoke up.

"I got the video." Nay added.

"Let me see." Memo held her hand out.

"Here but don't scroll left, only right." Nay warned.

"Damn, ooh damn." Siah said watching the video. "Damn Mike Tyson."

"Wait, you said Jamie in jail?" Memo asked.

"And that's where this video come in." Ky handed them her phone. 

"Jamieee." Siah dragged out sighing. 

"They just don't give a fuck." Memo shook her head.

"And you just standing there like a idiot." Siah looked at Harlem laughing.

"I was just there so he can beat up Darius."

"Darius? What the hell, we've been on our honeymoon for ten damn hours. How the fuck did all this happen?" Memo asked. 

"We might as well go back home." Siah shook his head. "What happened with Darius?"

"I'll explain when we get home." Aspen sighed. "I'll talk to y'all later."

"Just text us." Ky said as she hugged all of them.

"I feel so bad I allowed someone to get me so upset that I snapped, that's not me, I'm not the type of person to do that." Aspen vented to her mother as they ate ice cream.

"At least your life not over raising another damn kid." Memo rolled her eyes stabbing her ice cream. "I'll get over it and I'll be happy but for right now I'm so upset."

"I allowed Darius to give me oral before he told me the truth. I feel like a slut although I didn't have sex, I still allowed him to put his mouth on me."

"You win." Memo chuckled. "You're not a ho Aspen, a boy gave you head. I mean I'm not excited about it but it is what it is, I'm glad you're smarter than me when it comes to sex because I was Zylexia as fuck in that area."

"You're going to hell mommy." Aspen laughed.

"That's a jail number." Memo told her as she looked at Aspen phone. "I'll go downstairs and mess with Kash and Siah, you could come down or not."

"I have something to tell you and daddy later." Aspen spoke making her raise a eyebrow. 

"Okay." Memo got up closing her door as Aspen answered the phone pressing 1.

"Jamie?" She questioned. 

"You got another nigga in jail?" He joked. "I heard they bought out Sugar Ray."

"Y'all just keep comparing me to different boxers." Aspen laughed. "I've been called Floyd, Creed, Tyson-"

"You bit the girl ear off? Damn you riding for me like that?" 

"You're sad." Aspen chuckled making him laugh.

"How JC?" 

"He's fine, you know papa just gotta be extra."

"I was scared as fuck in here like this nigga was just playing yesterday." 

"I know but he's fine thank God, I wouldn't of been able to handle that."

"Seriously, Tac fucked me up I knew JC was going to do something worse."

"Jamie?" Aspen questioned. 

"Yes baby girl?"

"Did you mean it?" She questioned lowly. "Are you ready to be in a relationship with me?"

"You still wanna be with me after everything we been through this year? We still going through shit." Jamie shook his head.

"We're just going to have funny stories to tell our kids."

"We gon be they goals like Memo and Siah mine." He chuckled.

"My papa and mama my goals you had to see them today. Mama was going crazy in that hospital room."

"Nah, I think all of em my goals because they still in love with each other after having years in it."

"Are you ready for years?"

"I'm ready for an eternity with you."

"I wish I could be with you right now."

"You know there has never been a time when I said I loved you and never meant it?"

"There has never been a time when you said it and I never believed it."

"When I get out Imma marry you, Imma buy you a Bentley, we gon get our own house." Jamie laughed making Aspen drop her phone from laughing too hard.

"So the jail talks begin." Aspen laughing. "I'll be looking forward to that Bentley."

"I need to be saying that shit to you, you got moneyyy."

"Two minutes remaining."

"They time these?" Aspen frowned.

"You got so much to learn princess." He chuckled. "You better get with it if you gon be my trap queen, I need you smuggling drugs and blades through visits. You got me?" 

"Forever."

"Oh aight bet Imma leave you four thou, I need you to flip it and tumble it."

"We gon be the next Keyshia and Gucci."

"Ayoo, chill for they think we serious and come find you." Jamie laughed. "These calls being monitored."

"Heyyy." Aspen said making him laugh.

"I love you Princess."

"I love you too." She stated just as the phone hung up. She held the phone to her chin wanting to cry, something was always in the way.

"Can I sleep with you tonight?" Harlem asked making her smile. 

"Yes, we can watch Creed." She smiled holding her cover up so he can crawl towards her. 

"Aspen?" Harlem called to her as she searched for Creed.

"Hm?" 

"I love you." He caught her off guard as she furrowed her eyebrows. "We mess with each other a lot so I just wanted to tell you that so you won't ever forget."

"I love you too Har." She smiled hugging him. 

"Aight bike up, we ain't that cool." He pushed her head making her laugh as she rolled her eyes playing the movie.
