"And you feeding into the petty shit." Dell glared at Gee making me laugh.

"Niggas glow up and think they could start playing pretty bitches like I didn't know the ugly shit you once was. You looked like a whole anteater but I still decided to look over that and you tryna play me like I ain't always been this cute. I make you look better nigga."

"What else Indi?" Gee instigated recording her while Dell was just looking.

"I'm nervous mommy." Aspen spoke picking out different outfits for her date.

"It's a date, all y'all doing is eating and talking. Just be yourself and you'll be okay." Memo said watching Aspen run back and forth.

"But what if he doesn't like me anymore after this?"

"That's impossible but if so then you find another one who will."

"Okay." She sighed as her door opened. 

"Hey ma." Jamie said walking to hug Memo. 

"Hey Jam, Imma go mess with Harlem. I'll be back to see what you picked." 

"Why are you here?" Aspen frowned. "I told you I was going on a date tonight."

"Girl, I'm not here for you. I'm here for ya father."

"Why?"

"We having one of our men nights again." Jamie laughed. "Dell, KC and Gee coming too, shit bout to be lit. We going paintballing."

"Can you help me pick out a outfit?" 

"You gon look beautiful in whatever you wear."

"But this is a first date Jam." She whined making he groan standing up. 

"These jeans with your YSL shirt, your Yeezys and the necklace that say Jamie." He smiled. 

"I'm not going to wear a necklace with your name on it on my first date."

"Then wear this one, I spent almost 200 hundred dollars on." He held up the rose gold necklace that said princess on it. "So if the date going bad, you can pretend I'm there and talk to him like it's me."

"Thank you." She smiled as he made her turn around so he can put it on.

"Anything for you." He kissed her forehead. "I'm bout to go the fuck to sleep, wake me up when you leave so I could gas your head."

"You do that enough." She rolled her eyes as he chuckled going to lay on her bed that felt like Heaven.

"Aspen2023." She answered blankly. 

"You still doing too much."

"Let me see your phone then."

"When you get off that sneaky shit then you can hit me up til then don't unless it's about your music."

"Really doing too much." Gee laughed. "Niggas with you every damn day, I pick you up from school, you go to the studio with me, we sleep in the same bed every night and because I don't wanna give you my social medias or have some privacy I'm being sneaky? Fuck out my face with allat."

"I was leaving in a lil bit anyway so I don't care about you leaving."

"You keep saying you don't care but explaining yourself." Ky looked at him. "Yeah you with me everyday but you ain't really hea! We don't talk, we argue have sex then go to sleep so I don't want to hear that."

Ky ignored him making sure she had everything deciding to leave some stuff cause she ain't feel like carrying all that. She requested a Lyft then grabbed her bag waiting in the living room. Gee looked over at her empty spot and sighed walking out the room.

"Kaiser." He called out as she rolled her eyes wishing her Lyft hurry up.

"How can I help you?" 

"Don't leave me mad at me."

"I'm not mad, I'm just over it."

"So when you stop being sneaky, you know my number." She got up going out the door before he could say anything else.

"Why are you here?" Lay answered the door with a confused smile. 

"You said you was hungry." KC said.

"Meaning I was too lazy to go cook something so I was going to order something."

"Well, I was bored since I ain't got shit to do til later so let's go get something."

"I'm not even dress." She looked down at her sweats and slippers.

"Malayah, I grew up with you. I've seen some of ya ugliest days, you don't gotta impress me come on girl." 

"I've never had a ugly day but okay, let me go change my shoes. Come in." She said opening the door as she ran upstairs. 

"Ew." He heard making him look at Nay.

"I'm bout tired of ya black ass."

"Bitch, I'm black."

"Doubt it."

"You need a boyfriend, annoying ass."

"I gotta boyfriend." She laughed. "And a bitch."

"Since the fuck when?"

"Like a week or so."

"So you telling me you got a boyfriend and girlfriend? At the same time?"

"No the hell." She laughed. "He my nigga and that's my bitch, they don't know about each other."

"Oh she telling you bout her double life?" Lay asked coming down making him smile at her, she looked so good and she ain't even trying. 

"You ready?" KC asked as she nodded pulling her phone off the charger. He lead her out walking ahead her but she stopped walking making him turn around confused.

"Kelsie!" She said making him furrow his eyebrows.

"What I do?" He asked.

"You cut your hair, oh my God." She grabbed his chin smiling. "You look so good now."

"Now? I was ugly before?"

"No, you wasn't ugly but you just I don't know, you look so cute." She spoke smiling in his face. "When you do this?"

"Like a day or two ago."

"You so handsome, I'm really sweating you right now."

"Lay, I feel like you tryna call me ugly." He looked at her blankly.

"I'm not, I promise I'm not. I gotta send a picture to the groupchat cause oh my God."

"You lowkey tryna call me ugly." KC said getting offended as she kept taking offguards.

"I'm really not." She chuckled.

"Let me see the picture."

"No, just know it's cute and I sent it to the groupchat."

"Yeah whatever, what you want to eat?" 

"Wingstop?" 

"That's cool." He nodded opening her side of the car as she thanked him. 

"So, where you going after this?" 

"Men night with Aspen family or something like that."

"You bout to have so much fun with her father and uncles, we used to hate when they did that cause we never could come and they really used to have so much fun."

"This my first time meeting em, I'm just cooling."

"They all cool but just don't take anything her uncle JJ, Ace or Mace say to the heart, they're big ass goof balls. That's if they there, they getting old." Malayah chuckled.

"I wish Tac was alive, I wanted to have a conversation with the OG." He shook his head, all the niggas in Atlanta looked up to Tac or JC father JaySean.

"He was so cool and scary at the same time, he had people hearts in his hands." Lay chuckled. "He was the finest man I ever seen, he was laying in that casket looking like a buffet."

"You ignorant yo." KC laughed.

"I'm so serious, we all had our chance to finally kiss that man and we took advantage of it. He was 80 looking like he was in his late 20s, he was just so fine."

"You like older niggas?" He licked his lips laughing.

"You're childish." She walked ahead of him making him laugh as held the door open for her.

"What you want?" 

"Hot wings."

"Can I get 2 8 piece?" He asked handing him the money the waiting, he knew he liked Lay cause he ain't never in his life bought a female something. 

"When KC start looking that good?" He heard making him look over at Lay seeing she was on FaceTime with India and Ky.

"Looking like a delicious white kitkat." Ky spoke making India hit her arm laughing while Lay laughed.

"Y'all are annoying yo."

"I feel like all y'all tryna play me, was a nigga ugly before?"

"Ugly as hell." India laughed.

"India suck my dick" He laughed.

"Watch your mouth." Ky told him. "But you so cute, okay brother."

"Right, he's so handsome." Lay smiled.

"For real though, you wanna trade? I'll take KC, you have Dell?"

"Shit, you could have Gee too."

"I'm good with mine." Lay said making him smirk looking towards her.

"Aspen this boy here." Josiah said over the intercom, she looked at Jamie who was sleep. She kissed his forehead then hurried downstairs knowing how her father and brother was.

"So where my you taking my sister?" Harlem asked.

"To a restaurant downtown Atlanta." Darius answered.

"Let me tell you the rules. You can't touch my sister, kiss my sister, feed my sister, or let my sister do drugs or drinking. You lucky I'm allowing you to talk to my sister."

"Alright Harlem." Memo waved him off as Aspen walked up.

"Nothing he said was wrong, I want her in the house at 10, 10:30 the latest. You know she 15?"

"Daddy." Aspen glared at him.

"I was just playing." He forced a smile on his face.

"How old are you?" Harlem asked still grilling him.

"!9."

"You look 40." 

"Harlem." Memo smacked him in his head.

"Can you fight?" He asked making Josiah laugh.

"What does that matter?" Aspen asked looking at like he was stupid.

"He got on all the damn blue, y'all walk in the wrong neighborhood y'all done for if he can't fight. You not going, I could tell he pussy just by looking at him."

"Maa." Aspen whined as she hit Harlem again making him rub his head.

"My sister a virgin, she better come back that way." Harlem glared at him making Aspen mouth drop while Josiah laughed.

"I'm so over y'all." Aspen rolled her eyes ready to leave. "Daddy, Jamie is sleep upstairs so go wake him up."

"Jamie her future husband so don't think you gon be here long." Harlem looked at him one last time before walking away.

"I'm so sorry about them." Memo glared at Siah as he tried to avoid it. "Enjoy your date baby."

"Thank you mommy." Aspen smiled embarrassed walking out the door with. "I'm so embarrassed, I'm sorry."

"Nah, it's cool. Ya lil brother funny." He chuckled opening her car door so she can get in.

"He was so serious." 

"I understand I got sisters, he just trying to be protective." 

"It's annoying, he's so grown and think he older than me. He only 9." 

"For real? Though he was at least 13."

"Nope." 

"You eat Spanish food right? Cause if not this whole date just ruined."

"I like Spanish food." She chuckled liking how he was just as nervous as she was.

"Y'all some fucking cheaters." Mace yelled making them laugh. 

"Nah, you just old." Jamie laughed.

"How old you is again?" Avery teased making him look at them.

"First of all, you was almost aborted so you better respect ya elders." JJ told him making him look at JC.

"Y'all was gon abort me son?" Avery asked his father. "My whole life y'all been treating me like shit, this makes sense."

"Nigga shut up." JC smacked him in his head. "You grown and still so damn annoying."

"I was playing, you wasn't the mistake." JJ laughed. 

"Jaylen was." Mason finished making everybody bust out laughing. 

"Mason, suck my dick. Old ass." He pushed him making JJ hit him so Avery hit him.

"Ain't jumping my brother old bitches."

"I just wanna know why Jamie here?" Ace asked. "Don't we owe fam a ass whooping?" 

"Oh yeah, Kai told me you hurt the princess." Yayo spoke making him back up as everybody looked at him.

"He good." Siah laughed. "They back good."

"He don't get no damn second choice to hurt her again." Ike spoke.

"Nah, I respect the shit out of Jamie." Ralph said making Siah agree.

"He not with her right now because he know he still immature and he know he not ready to settle down. I'll rather her hurt from rejection rather than her heartbroken because the nigga she love betrayed her in the worse way possible." Siah explained. 

"You could relate." Josh chuckled.

"You cheated on Memo?" Jamie asked.

"With every fucking thing walking." Avery laughed.

"Chill but yeah I was selfish as fuck. I wanted her and every other bitch who had a vagina. Plus I was a known ass nigga so bitches just threw theirselves at me and I caught them."

"How you finally decide you wanna be faithful?" Gee asked.

"I saw her happy with another nigga."

"Let's just note that I was that nigga and a nigga was heartbroken for a whole damn year so be considerate of other niggas that she move on with." Zay spoke making them laugh.

"Nigga you got a whole wife and new born, let that hurt go now." Siah laughed. 

"Imma say this though." JC spoke up eating ice. "Aspen my grand daughter, my first grand daughter and no matter how much I love you and see you as a grandson, I will kill you. I won't think twice about having your mother bury you."

"Damn JC got the boy scared for his life." Siah laughed. "He dead ass though."

"That go for y'all lil niggas too." Ike spoke looking at Gee, Dell and KC.

"We don't fuck with Aspen, why that go for us?" KC asked lowkey scared. He was sitting at the table with OGs, people move out the way when they see them, he ain't want no problems.

"Y'all fuck with somebody out the group right?" Mason asked.

"Nah, I'm single." Dell chuckled making Jamie look at him.

"You broke up with my cousin bitch?"

"More like she broke up with him." Gee chuckled.

"What you laughing for? Ky broke up with you too." KC chuckled.

"Ky can't ever break up with me, she could have a break from me but she not going no where for long." He spoke with confidence. 

"Well, I'm fighting for my girl." KC shrugged. 

"It's always that soft ass Trey Songz Holla when you need me Spongebob Love don't change ass nigga ina group." Mason spoke making all of them laugh. 

"Nah what yo?" Zayden laughed.

"Yayo that nigga." Ace laughed. 

"Zay that nigga." Jaylen spoke.

"It used to be Ralph until he got that rape charge, niggas ain't soft no more." Avery laughed.

"I really wish I could meet y'all as teenagers, y'all seemed so lit." Jamie spoke making them laugh.

"Shit, I know we was." JC laughed.

"We was most def lit too." Avery laughed.

"Hello?" They heard Gee say then his face dropped. "Jumped? Who jumped y'all? What the hell?"

"Who that?" Jamie asked thinking it was his cousin.

"You said Alyssa and Remy? No, I don't know who they are."

"Alyssa?" JC asked. 

"He just said Remy?" Josh asked.

"Y'all know them?" Gee asked.

"My wife." Josh and JC said in unison.

"Well them and a few other girls just jumped my mother and sisters." Gee spoke hanging up the phone.

"I knew Memo baldheaded ass was up to something wearing all black and shit." Siah shook his head.

"Now that I think about Kai was braiding up her hair." Iyan spoke. 

"But why they jumping them? They don't know my peoples."

"Ky told them your mother and sisters be jumping her." Zayyir spoke texting NeeNee so he can curse her out. 

"That was like a month ago, the hell?" Gee asked calling Ky which she ignored.

"Yeah, I think we done here. We leaving." Iyan said as everybody got up.

"Y'all not gon pay for y'all food?" Dell asked.

"This my shit." JJ laughed as they all walked out.

"Aye Siah, I'm spending a night." Jamie told him as they walked in the house.

"Aight, wait up for her. A nigga tired." He yawned walking up the stairs.

Jamie walked in Aspen room digging in his draw that had a bunch of his clothes in, he took a shower then went in the kitchen to get some snacks. As he was about to walk back up the stairs he heard the front door making him stop to see who it was.

"Y'all didn't go out?" Aspen asked walking in.

"Yeah, we came back early. I'm spending a night."

"Okay." She said following him up the stairs.

"So how was it?"

"It was so bad at first." She rolled her eyes. "But then I did what you said and pretended you were there and it became so fun."

"So we like him?" 

"We're still testing him out." 

"You know your aunts, grandmother and mother jumped Gee mother and them tonight?" 

"For real? They told me they would but they haven't so I forgot."

"Gee mad." He chuckled.

"Oh well, they shouldn't be putting their hands on my best friend. They too old."

"They are but hey maybe they'll learn their lesson." 

"Can we watch a movie?" 

"Frozen?"

"I love you." She smiled. "I'm going to get some more snacks, find it."

"Jam." He heard Kash call him making him go pick him up.

"Wassup lil man?" He kissed his cheek. "You wanna watch a movie with us?"

"Yes."

"Okay, come on." Jamie put him in him between his legs clicking on Frozen as it came on.

"Kash, where you go?" He heard Memo yell.

"He in here." Jamie spoke. 

"Come on." Memo reached out for him but he shook his head. "You could come back, let me just change your diaper."

"No."

"I'll change him." Jamie laughed as she handed him a diaper and wipes. 

"Thank you, when y'all get tired of him just bring him back." Memo spoke.

"Aight." Jamie said doubting he gon take him to her, he loved watching Kash.

Aspen walked in just as he finished changing him, he sat him back between his legs leaning back on the headboard as Aspen laid on his leg. He took a picture of both of them for Snapchat and Instagram then put his phone up watching Frozen like he never seen it a day in his life.

He loved nights like this.
