NICO POV

Percy, his girlfriend, Annabeth, Frank (Hazel's boyfriend,) Leo and his girlfriend Calypso, Jason, and Piper. They all had off for the week, for some reason or another. Nico was waiting at the door for his only friends.

Ding Dong. Hazel bet Nico to the door, It was Frank, her boyfriend. He greeted her with a peck on the lips. The next people who came in wer e, with Annabeth.

"Hi guys!" Hazel greeted all of her friends.

Annabeth talked first "Hi Hazel," She hugged her friend, "Hi Nico."

Percy turned towards Nico. "Hey, Neeks. Um, am I still not your type?"

Nico let out a grin. "Nope."

Percy chuckled, but Nico couldn't really tell if it was a real laugh or an "This-is-awkward-so-I'm-just-going-to-laugh" laugh.

Then came Leo.

"LEO IS IN DA HOUSE!"

"Leo, shut up, you're gonna rile up the dog." Nico pointed to Mrs. O'leary, their rottweiler.

"I'M STILL IN DA HOUSE!!" Leo shouted. His girlfriend, Calypso came in holding about four bowls of food.

"Leo," She told him, "Be quiet and take one of these bowls."

The curly haired Latino reluctantly took a bowl of macaroni salad.

"Hazel," Calypso asked, "Where do you want these?"

"I'll take them to the kitchen," Hazel took one of the bowls and showed Calypso to the kitchen.

The last people to arrive were Jason and Piper. Piper, a Cherokee native, leaned against her tall, blond boyfriend.

After the slightly emotional (And loud, in Leo's case) greetings, Nico pulled Piper aside.

"Um..." He scratched his head. "Can I ask you a question?" Piper was the only one who he could go to for... no, I refuse to call it love advice.

"Sure Neeks, what's up?"

"Don't call me Neeks." He shot her a death glare and her multicolored eyes rolled.

"Ok," She put her tanned hands up."

"H-how do you tell if a guy... um... well.. Likes you?"

Piper's face lit up into a smile. "Awe, does my little Neeks have a crush?"

Nico felt his face get red. "Yes, well, no. Ugh"

Piper let out a small laugh. "It's ok, BUT GIMME DETAILS!"

Nico took a breath. "Piper I..."

Piper interrupted him, "Don't wanna hear it. Details. Now."

"Fine, his name is Will, he's around Percy's height, maybe taller. He's blonde with the bluest eyes you have ever seen. He's about as tan as you and his smile is blinding. And... he actually... he actually wants to be my friend."

"Nico," Nico smiled when she used his actual name, "Lot's of people want to be your friend, you just have to let them."

"I know, but, how can I tell if he likes me back."

"Nico, that's easy. Does he blush when he talks to you? Do special things for you? Smile a lot when he's around you?"

"I-he. Piper, I don't know, I'll 'Observe him' or whatever, I'll call you in a few days."

"Alright, let's go, the others are dying (Pun, get it) to see you."
