Marinette came back to school. It was Wednesday, the middle of the week, the worst time to have to go to school. She knew there'd be tension between her and Adrien. She just shook that thought off her head when she saw Alya.
"Hey girl......" Alya nervously said.
"Hey Alya, why do you sound so down?" Marinette asked.
"Ugh I suck girl. I forced you to confess to Adrien even though I knew you weren't ready. And look, you 2 probably hate each other" Alya replied.
"It's fine Alya, and maybe you didn't force me to do the wrong thing" Marinette said as she was blushing red.
"What do you mean girl?" Alya confusedly asked
Marinette giggled. "Nothing! Come on, let's get to class."

Marinette and Alya walk into class and see Nino and Adrien. Marinette didn't want to make eye contact with Adrien AT ALL. Adrien noticed this. He felt horrible, he couldn't believe that he rejected Marinette. Sweet, kind, Marinette. Who was always there. He chose Ladybug, who rejected him, pushed him away even when he tried to be the nicest cat he could've ever been!

Marinette and Alya went to their seats and class started.

After class, Marinette pulled Alya and went straight out. Adrien tried to reach out to her. He ran outside to confess his feelings to Marinette but she was gone.
He knew he did something wrong. But how could he talk to her as Adrien? It was impossible at this point, might as well give up..
"Girl. I know you're too embarrassed to talk to Adrien, but I'm just telling ya, he kept staring at you in class!" Alya tried to comfort her friend
"That's not the point Alya! He was staring at me because he was laughing internally at my horrible confession!" Marinette freaked

"Alright Marinette, calm down. Maybe a bit of Luka will cheer you up." Alya winked
"H-he's back?" Marinette hyperventilated

"I asked Juleka this morning. She said the Jagged Stone concert ended early because Jagged got extremely ill and needed to go home for medical assistance." Alya explained

"I-I don't know Alya.....I might just be using Luka as a rebound. And I don't want to do that. I mean he's handsome and I love his ombré streaks but I just confessed to the love of my life and I got rejected and what if Luka rejects me a—" Marinette was interrupted by Alya: "Alright we're going to Luka's house right now."

"noooOOOoo~~~" Marinette groaned in agony

Adrien was stalking them by a nearby tree and heard the whole conversation
"Does Marinette like Luka or something?" Adrien asked out loud
"Are you stupid or something kid? OBVIOUSLY!" Plagg yelled in dismay
"Then I gotta see what they're gonna talk about!"
"That's called stalking kiddo."

"PLAGG; CLAWS OUT!!" Adrien ignored him
"whhhHHHYY--" Plagg groaned
And there, Chat Noir was off to follow Marinette to Luka's house
