Everyone knew Estrella, they knew the girl who never went to school yet aced every test. The girl who partied hard and could always be found high on something.

In her defense, and I know I shouldn't be defending anyone doing drugs. I mean, look at me.

The girl was waaay to smart to be in high school. She need something to stimulate that gigantic brain of hers I mean, the only reason she was even in high school and not shipped off to some prestigous college with a full ride, was because her older brother was forcing her too. Something about building character and blah blah blah. It was also some metaphorical bullshit about a rite of passage that he sprouted to her while high on shrooms.

Although, I'm sure if he knew what he knew now... he would have shipped her off in a heartbeat.
