Now that I know.

Should I delete those drafts about you
Or try to rewrite them into a different meaning.

This loss I gained
Is it because I lost a potential
A future I finally deared to imagine.

Or did I truly fall far too fast
For someone I finally got to meet
And now got hurt by the consequences.

I know you can't force things,
Some things are simply not meant to be
But maybe the fact that you admit we are such a good match
Hurts harder when you tell me it isn't there
