Before we get into this, I want to let you guys know this fic is inspired by another fic I read. I did actually ask for (and received) permission to use this idea because it's a huge part of the story.

The inspiration fic is on the site 'archive of our own' (aka ao3), it's called "The Unmarked" by Vitexy. It's an amazing YunSan fic (side SeongJoong and WooJong)

I honestly loved it so much that I kinda wanted to write my own version so here's my attempt! Please read theirs too if you like YunSan, it's literally one of my favourite fics out there.

If you do read their fic/have read it already, this is what I've taken inspiration from: the idea of: A world with marked people, somehow there's someone unmarked and he lives isolated from everyone else. Only a handful of people know about him- no one knows why he's unmarked. The love interest wants to find out.

That's the foundation of the fic which plays a huge part, which is why my fic may seem similar to the original but the rest (aka the actual plot) is all my ideas!

If you read the inspiration fic you'll find that our fics aren't similar in plots but you can definitely tell I've taken inspiration from it. I've been really careful and tried my best to not plagiarise anything.
