Three covered wagons slowly rolled through the snow in the middle of a blizzard. A man dressed in a formal outfit got out of the first wagon and walked to the driver and shotgun messager.
"Selina says Sharkey's dying Cody." The man said. Cody nods in reply. "We'll find a place for him to rest Darryl. I sent Tristan on up ahead." He replied.

Darryl climbs back into the wagon as it continued on. "This weather is may. We need shelter." The man next to him stated. "I know Nial, hey I see someone up ahead." Cody said as a figure appeared through the storm.
"Tristan! Find anything?" He asked. "I found a old mining camp up ahead, I thought we could let Sharkey rest while he you know. It ain't far, come on." Tristan replied and turns around leading the way. "Come on!" Cody shouts to the others.

Once at the small settlement Nial opened the door to one of the cabins and looked around. "Bring him in here!" He yelled over the howling wind. Tristan and Ethan carried Sharkey into the building and laid him down on a table. "Sharkey's dead." Selina said sadly. "There was nothing more you could have done." Darryl said.

Tristan took out two coins and laid them on Sharkey's eyes to keep them closed. "What do we do we need supplies." Nial said.
"I sent Joebuz and Krakenkid out to scout ahead, Tristan and I will go find them." Cody said. "In this mess?" Tristan asked. "Listen to me for a moment everyone." Cody said getting everyone's attention. "Now I loved Sharkey and the rest of the shark brothers but now we need to stay strong, me and Tristan are going to ride out and we are going to find some food. Now get yourselves warm, stay strong, stay with me we ain't done yet." He said confinedently.

The two men walked out of building and trudged through the snow. "You gents need horses?" A voice called out to them. Cody turned his head to origin of the voice and sees three figures walking up to them. "Yes thank you Tristen, go get yourself warm." The young gang leader said. "I'll live." Tristen the demon said as his wings twitched a little from the cold. "Get in doors son, we need you to stay strong." Cody ordered as he and Tristan got onto the horses. The two ride out using lanterns to light their way as they rode next to each other.

"What you said back there was what everyone needed to hear to keep going." Tristan said after some time in the quiet. "After that job in Atlantis, after we lost hammerhead Jack and Boris we were barely hanging on." Cody replied. "That's why I'm glad you came along when you did."
"What about the money?" The young outlaw asked. "It's hidden safe in Atlantis." He replied.
"I see someone up ahead."

The two stopped and the horses whinnied. "Who's there?" Tristan called out. "It's me." Krakenkid called back. "Krakenkid you find anything?" Cody ask. "I found a homestead it ain't far." "Anyone there?" Tristan asked. "Oh sure, it was ablaze with light and noise, sounded like a party." Krakenkid said rather annoyed with the blond headed outlaw.

"We should go see if their friendly." Cody stated. "Lead the way Kraken." Krakenkid turns his horse around and leads the way.
"How's Sharkey doing?" He asked. "He didn't make, neither did little Carly." Cody replied.
"Bad business." Krakenkid said sadly. "Ask him if he's seen Joe." Tristan said from behind Cody.
"Have you seen Joe Kraken?" The gang leader asked. "No I haven't seen much since we split up." KK replied. "He hasn't seen him." Cody replied. "He'll be fine. Things always turn out well for that boy." Tristan stated.

The three stopped at the top of a hill and just ahead of them was a house with a barn not to far from it. "Sounds like a party alright." Tristan said. "Lanterns off boys I'll lead the way." Cody ordered and the two men turned off their lanterns and follow Cody. The three outlaws walk down to the house together.
"You two find places to hide one man isn't so threatening unlike three threatening outlaws." Cody said. "Tristan you hide in that shed, Kraken you hide behind that wagon."

The two take their positions as their leader walks to the doorstep. "Hello!" He yelled. "Shh, quiet." A voice within the building said. "Excuse me!" Cody called out. A man stepped out to confront him. "Oh hello friend." Cody said with a little smile.
"What you want?" The man asked as two more men stepped out. "Gentlemen." Cody said. "Me and my men got lost up the way."
"We can't help you." The man replied. "Tristan we got a problem." Krakenkid said and uncovered something in the wagon. "There's a body in the wagon." "I hear ya just keep your eyes on Cody." Tristan replied and pulled out his cattleman revolver. "All I'm asking is if you could spare some food and maybe a few blankets." Cody said unaware of the situation.

Tristan took aim at one of the men and fired. The man immediately collapsed and the rest took cover as Cody shoots another that tried to shoot him.
The three Atlanteans quickly dispatched their enemy and regrouped. "Tristan I told you I would handle it!" Cody yelled. "Didn't seem to be going so well."
He replied. "AntiLights here?! Why?!" Cody shouted. "Who knows." Krakenkid said. "Alright let's see what we can find." Cody said with a sigh. "Tristan and I will search the house, KK you go get the horses."

The two men enter the house as Krakenkid goes to get the horses.
Tristan searches through some cabinets finding canned food and some drinks. "We could move the women and Jake here ." He said. "It's big enough." "Yeah but for right now just keep looking." Cody replied. Tristan picks up a wedding picture sitting on the mantle of the fireplace. "Poor lad was married." He said looking at the man and brown haired woman in the photo. "Come on." Cody said as he left the house. Tristan puts down the picture and follows him. "Tristan you go check the barn, Krakenkid go see if we missed anything." He said.

Tristan walked to the barn and became very uneasy when he heard a horse whinnie from inside and they didn't sound to happy about something. He opens the door and pulled his gun out as he slowly entered the
barn. A man dropped down from the second level and landed on him causing him to throw his gun and loose his hat.

"You shot my cousin!" The rival gang member shouted. "He started it!" Tristan shouted back.
"I'm gonna break your neck!" The AntiLight yelled. The two started to punch each other as Cody stood in the doorway. "What's going on?" He asked. "This guy just jumped me." Tristan replied as he busted the other man's nose. "Oh did he now." Cody said. Tristan grabs the man by the throat and throws him to the ground. "Sneaky bugger, should I Kill him?" He asked. "No, not yet." Cody replied. "Find out what their doing here."

"Oh this guy is gonna talk." Tristan growled and grabs the man. "Why are you up here." He growled in a threatening voice.
"We're planning on robbing a train, northeast of here." The gang member replied. Tristan punches the thug to keep him talking. "Where is your boss?" He asked. "At an old mining town west of here." The thug replied.
"It looks like you've got this Tristan I'll let you handle it from here, you can kill him or let him go your choice, bring that horse when you're done." Cody said and walks away.

"I won't tell anyone about this, I swear." The gang member pleaded. "Get out of here." Tristan growls and lets him go. The rival gets up and runs into the darkness. Tristan turns to the frightened horse and tries his best to calm her. "Shh." He said softly as he entered the pen and gently pats her neck and shoulder. "Easy girl." He said softly calming her down. He smiles a little and leads the beautiful Clydesdale out of the barn and takes her to where Krakenkid put the other horses. "I saw that boy take off, he won't get very far in this weather." Cody said getting a nod from Tristan.

"Get away from me!!" A voice cried from within the house and the two immediately ran in. "Kraken what the hell!" Cody yelled. "Look what I found in the cellar!" He said excitedly. Wild thing ain't ya!"
"Kraken leave her alone!" Cody ordered. "I wasn't doing nothing besides she's one of them AntiLights." Krakenkid said as he chased her around the table.
The frightened brown haired woman picked up a knife off the table and tried to make them back off. "No she ain't, look at her!" Cody yelled and tries to control the situation. "Miss? Miss?" He said calmly, just then krakenkid grabbed the table and flipped it on to it's side setting the place ablaze due to a lantern shattering when it fell off the table.

"Oh you fool Kraken!" Cody yells and pushes him away as he gets in-between him and the frightened woman. Tristan stood behind his leader and tried his best to help calm down the situation.
"Ma'am we mean you no harm." Cody said calmly as he slowly reached for the knife in her hand. The woman kept her eyes on kraken and jerked slightly.
"Miss it's ok your safe now." Cody stated as he took the knife from her, The sound of a loud snap got their attention. "We need to get out of here." He said. Tristan grabs a large bear skin coat and puts it around her shoulders gently. The four quickly left the burning house and approached the horses. "She'll ride with me." Cody said as he got onto his horse.

Tristan gently took her by the arm and helped her onto the horse. "Your safe now miss, we-we're bad men but we ain't them." He said and mounted his new horse and grabbed the reigns of the fourth horse.
"What's your name miss?" Cody asked as they got a considerable distance away from the house.
"Miss?" He asked softly. "Mrs. Addler." She replied quietly. "Sam Addler. He-He was my husband." She said referring to the man they found in the wagon. The rest of the ride was silent until they got back to camp.

"Somebody's coming!" Lenny yelled and aims his weapon at them. "It looks like Cody, hey everyone Cody's back!" He shouted and the others rushed out. "Miss Tilly, Miss Katelyn get Mrs. Addler inside and put her by the fire." Cody said as he got off his horse and helped Sam down.
The two women gently take her by the arms and take her into one of the buildings. "We found a homestead but Anti's boys got there first. They turned her into a widow, animals." Cody growled.
"I need some rest, I haven't slept in three days." He said calming down. "You have a room in that building over there, miss O'Shea will show you. Mr. Kid your bunked with Deadlock and the boys. Tristan your room is over here." Peppleteen said. "Thank you Peppleteen." Tristan replied and walks to the little building where he'd be staying.

"How come Tristan gets a room and I get to bunk with a bunch of demons." Krakenkid whined. "Just get to bed." Nial ordered. "We got work to do in the morning."

And chapter one is done, I hope you enjoy this story because I'm going to enjoy writing it. I hope I can make it a nice long story because sometimes I worry that it'll be extremely short.
