Chapter 9
** a/n: Yesterday, I posted a message in my "Note From ObsessedwithTivi" book needing help in making a decision on some ideas I had. There were three options. Out of 12 responses, 10 of you voted on Idea #2.
Idea #2- An update two days in a row for one book. For Example: I update "Outlaw" on Monday & Tuesday and then move to a different book for the next two days.
Sooooo... Here's the second chapter of "Outlaw". Please enjoy!!!

Tim and Adam waited not so patiently as they sat on the edge of the loft. They held hands as their legs swung in the air below them.
"I'm hungry." Adam says as he watches their feet swing.
"Umhum." Tim nods as he stares at the barn door.
The barn door suddenly opens and their 'so-called' friends come running in.
Chance stops in his tracks as he meets Tim's cold glare. The others run into the back of him.
"How was breakfast?" The outlaw asks in a low tone as he tilts his head and raises a brow.
"Oh, man. I'm so sorry." Chance apologizes as he hurries over for the ladder.
"We sorta got distracted by what Sam was planning for today." Austin says.
"Save it." Tim growls as he climbs down the ladder. He then holds the ladder for Adam to climb down. "I don't want no d*mn apologies or no sorry ass excuses. Forty-five minutes. FORTY-FIVE F*CKIN MINUTES!!! I can't believe this sh*t!"
The gang members hang their heads in shame as Tim takes his lover by the hand and walks past them.
"Let's go eat our cold-ass breakfast." Tim says as he angrily shoves the barn door open and walks out.
"Chill." Austin mumbles.
Tim didn't hear him but Adam did.
"Did you have something that you wanted to say, Austin?" Adam asks after quickly turning to face him.
"Uh, no." Austin answers as he sees the anger in Adam's eyes. Adam is normally the cool collected member of the group. They rarely see him angry. Austin definitely felt the heat coming from the blonde.
"Come on, Austin." Chance says as he takes him by the arm. "Let's just give them time to cool down some and to get something to eat."
"Yeah, I agree. Let's go check out the chicken pen." Nate adds as they pull Austin away with them.

"There you two are. I was worried that you weren't feeling well." Lilly says as the lovers walk into the house.
"Pretty pissed but feeling okay." Tim says as he sits down with a cup of coffee.
"I kept your breakfast warm." She says as she sets their plates in front of them.
"Thank you, Ms. Lilly." Adam says as he digs in.
"Where's Sam?" Tim asks as he looks up from his plate.
"He's getting ready for the day." Lilly says as she washes the others' dishes.
"Well, I'm glad you boys decided on joining us." Sam chuckles as he comes out of the bedroom.
He quickly receives a not so friendly look from the outlaw.
"Guess that wasn't a very funny comment." Sam smiles as he fixes himself another cup of coffee.
"No, it wasn't." Tim replies before continuing his breakfast. "I still can't believe they did that sh*t to us. Just forgetting us like that."
"Maybe you guys need a break." Lilly suggests. "I know you all are like brothers but even brothers need time to do your own thing or they're gonna fight like wild cats."
"I know our gang had to take breaks or we would have killed each other." Sam adds with a slight chuckle before becoming serious.
"Tim, Honey, I can imagine how you're feeling. You are the leader of this group and for you and Adam being forgotten like that had to hurt." Lilly says as she lays her hand on top of Tim's. "But as the old saying goes, 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder'. Being away from each other for a day or two might be exactly what you guys need."
"There's no hurry to get this stuff done. We're not on a time schedule here. Why don't you boys take a couple of days off. I think you'd be safe in the next town. Like I said you have a lot of followers around here. Go enjoy yourselves for a few days. You've been cooped up in that barn for days. If one farts, the others are going to smell it." Sam smiles. "There's a nice hotel there. You can all get separate rooms."
"That would be nice." Adam smiles as he looks around at his lover.
"Yeah, but also expensive." Tim says as he gives the blonde a sad smile.
"Tim, I want to let you in on a little secret." Sam says as he gets up from the table and goes to the bedroom. He returns carrying a wooden box. "You remember I told you I was sitting on a gold mine?"
"Yeah." Tim nods.
"Well, I'm literally sitting on a gold mine." Sam smiles as he opens the box.
"What the hell!" Tim's eyes widen as he sees the box packed full of money.
"That stream where you guys have been taking your baths is full of gold." Sam smiles. "And it's all on my property."
"Are you fricking kidding me?" Adam asks.
"Nope. I'm a very, very rich man." Sam grins.
"Aren't you taking a bit of a chance in telling us this? After all, we are outlaws." Tim says.
"No. Because we trust you. I truly don't believe that you would steal from us." Sam says.
"You're right. We wouldn't." Tim says, shaking his head.
"So...." Sam says as he pulls out a wad of money. "I want you boys to go to town. Get drunk. Get laid. Whatever you need to do to relieve this tension building amongst you."
"I don't... I don't know what to say." Tim says as Sam hands him the money.
"You don't have to say nothing." Sam smiles.
"I'm going to go tell the others." Adam smiles, jumping up from the table when Tim takes the money after a bit of hesitation.
Adam remembers hearing Nate saying something about going to the chicken house. So he hurries down in that direction.
"Tim just needs to get over it..." Austin was saying as he and Nate stood inside the chicken house. "It's not like they were there for hours or days. You know, to be a wanted outlaw, he can be such a childish brat."
He suddenly finds himself being slammed against the wall of the chicken house.
"What the....?!" Nate says as he quickly backs away.
"What the f*ck did you just say?" Adam growls as he holds Austin against the wall.
"Nothing, Adam. I wasn't saying anything." Austin shakes his head quickly.
"I f*cking just heard you!" Adam says as he once again shoves Austin against the wall. "Childish is talking about someone behind their back and then f*cking lying about it."
"I..I..." Austin stutters as he tries to think of something to say.
"SHUT UP!!! Let me tell you something. If it weren't for Tim, you would probably be dead right now. You almost got us killed when you were running from that angry father after he caught you f*cking his daughter." Adam growls. "Not only did he save your ass but also took you into the group."
"Adam." Chance says calmly, laying his hand on the blonde's bicep in an attempt to calm him down. "Just calm down, okay?"
"NO! CHANCE!! I will NOT calm down. Tim is the leader of this group and Y'all forgot him like he was nothing to you. I don't care about myself but I'll be d*mned if you treat Tim that way." Adam says through gritted teeth.
"Adam?" Tim speaks softly behind them causing them all to quickly turn around to see the outlaw and Sam standing in the doorway. "Is there a problem?"
"I don't know." Adam answers as he turns back to Austin. "What about it, Austin? Is there a problem? You're free to leave at any time if you have a problem."
"No. No, there's no problem." Austin says as he steps away from the angry blonde. He slowly walks toward the brunette. "Tim, I'm so sorry. I was saying some things that I shouldn't have been saying and Adam overheard me. And we all (he motions his hand around at the others) know we shouldn't have left you and Adam stranded like that. Cause as Adam just reminded me, you would never leave us stranded in any situation."
"No, I wouldn't." Tim says, shaking his head. "I'd lay my life on the line for each of you. I hope you know that."
"We do. Sometimes, we just get stupid." Rob says with a smile.
"That's why you boys are going to take a few days off and go relax in town." Sam smiles. "Get laid if you need to. I just want you to return in one piece and with smiles on your faces."
