Chapter one - Skate Club

"Get back over here, Casmir!" A voice called out as two people zoomed down the side walk on roller skates. The taller of the two yelled after the shorter, being on the other person's trail.

The taller of the two had on a black button up, red tie, black pants, a black vest and red roller skates. It had dark brown skin and dreadlocks, seeming a lot fancier than the shorter person, who had on a simple blue shirt, a spiked choker, a plaid button down open and flowing in the wind, simple blue jeans and white roller skates, he was pale with blue dyed hair in a curly mullet.

"Try and keep up, pal! I know you, Parker!" The shorter person, Casmir, responded. A small chuckle left him as he moved over by a park and turned on to the path into it, moving quickly as he skated over to a small hide-out where two other people sat, talking to each other.

"David, Ava. Good to see you two." Casmir said, skating over to a chair and sitting down, watching as the so called Parker entered the hide out with a look of anger plastered on it's face. It went over and skated to a chair nearby Casmir, sitting down by him with a small huff.

"Damn, what's wrong with it?" One of the two originally there spoke up. He was a male in a simple hoodie, black jeans and green roller skates. His hair was brown and slicked back, and he was somewhat tan. He looked between both Casmir and Parker, curious on what the two were doing.

"Ahh Parker's just pissed I beat it here to the hide-away-" Casmir started before Parker spoke up quickly.

"AY! He was being rude about it on the way here, saying "You're too slow" and "try to keep up"! I have every right to be angry, David!" It said, crossing it's arms and leaning back in the chair. Casmir looked over and frowned a small bit, patting Parker's back.

"Woah guys. I didn't know there was this much damn drama going on. You two finally not being best friends or something?" The other of the two originally there said. She was a pale girl with long blonde hair pulled up in space buns, having on a long sleeve black shirt, with a yellow jacket, black shorts and brown roller skates. Her head tilting slightly as she spoke again.

"I'm just kidding by the way. You two idiots aren't gonna like stop being friends over this, right?" She asked, a bit nervous as she spoke before Casmir put a stop to her worries with a simple.

"No no. We're staying friends. Don't worry, Ava. It's just a little mad right now." He said, giving a nudge towards his supposed best friend who gave a small smile back.

"Sadly." Parker joked, earning a small frown from Casmir in return.

This was the Westfield's skate club. Consisting of 4 people, Ava, David, Casmir and Parker. All friends since childhood. They're now 19, all with jobs and aspirations for life. Except for the fact they always meet up in their hangout after work on Friday's.

They had simple lives, Parker was a librarian currently studying psychology in college so it can become a psychologist. Casmir worked at the local boba shop, going to a community college to get a degree in art so he can become an art teacher. Ava is a writer, hoping to publish a ton of New York Times best sellers, and David works at the local Mexicans restaurant, studying to become a marine biologist.

All of them have dreams. All of them have goals. And even through ups and down throughout life, they stick together. It's a magical thing, truly. Perhaps a bit too magical...
