Chapter Twenty Two

Sky's POV

I awoke on something cold. I started to sit up, but bashed my head on something above my head.

I gasped and curled up in a little ball, cradling my head, using a few choice swear words. After that, I sat up more cautiously. I couldn't see very well. Everything seemed to be tinged blue. I reached out and touched the wall. It was cool and wet.

Ice!

I sat up, looking around. I was completely surrounded in ice, probably trapped in a mountain or something.

Gah, I HATE teleporting!

I tried to focus on teleporting out, but I had no energy.

What the-

All at once, what had happened came rushing back. Teleporting all thirteen of us, the mountain with the cave, the...memories...

I fell to my knees, a wave of horror and guilt washing over me. I was a monster. I held out my hand, and a small orange flame danced across my palm. My eyes stung, and all at once I started to sob. I rocked back and forth, holding my knees against my chest. I was a fucking monster! I murdered two of my friends. Even more of them could be dead.

I remembered Mitch and Jerome's reaction to me. They were scared. A flashback shot across my mind.

--------

The Youtubers gasped, and suddenly I dove at them. They scattered. I grabbed Mitch's arm, carrying him up into the air. He screamed and swung at me. I easily kicked his sword out of his hand. Mitch punched me hard.

"That is it!" I snarled. I dove down, ramming Mitch into the ground. I flew back up a couple of feet, hovering over Mitch. He lay there, the ground cracked underneath him. He was still and limp.

"MITCH!" Tyler screamed. None of them dared approach me. I picked up Mitch's diamond sword, and held it over him, threatening to stab him.

"If you take one more step forward..." I warned. They all froze. Enderlox kicked Husky, sending him flying away from his friends. He crashed into a tree, breaking a few bones. He lay there unable to move. Enderlox picked him up by the neck with his claw like hands. Husky's throat started to bleed, and the blood stained the collar of his shirt red. WitherMU grabbed Seto, surrounding both of them in a grey mist. Seto collapsed to his knees, screaming in pain.

------

I froze, unable to move. Did I actually do that? I trembled. The look of horror on my friends faces when I attacked Mitch... Another sob ripped from my throat.

"I..I..I.." I choked, tears rolling down my face. I didn't have enough energy to get out of my icy prison. I lay there for hours, staring silently at the wall, the only sound being the dripping of melting ice and the choked sound of my sobs. I didn't care if I died. I deserved it. I eventually fell into an uneasy slumber.

Seto's POV

I bit my lip, glancing around at the other worried faces.

"Maybe he had a panic attack?" Rob suggested.

Preston shook his head.

"A panic attack about what, magic?"

"Yeah, Sky can do magic perfectly fine, I've seen him do it." I confirmed.

I was so confused.

"I would try to teleport to him, but I don't have any energy," Ty offered sadly.

"From what Jason and Ty said, I would think he lost focus," Skyler deducted thoughtfully.

"But why?" Ryan questioned. "There was no reason for him to."

"Maybe it was really difficult to teleport thirteen people?" Tyler suggested.

"I...I don't understand!" Jerome cried.

"I don't think that was it. He could easily teleport us, however he would be completely drained of energy afterwards." I explained.

"No, not that," Jerome said, "I know I wasn't supposed to...probably, but I..I opened my eyes, right before we teleported. Sky, he was....crying."

"Crying?!" Everyone else said

Jerome looked really uncomfortable.

"Then we teleported, and...he was gone," Jerome continued.

I sat down, right then and there, dumbstruck.

"Why would he be crying?! I..I don't-" I mumbled. "Skyler."

"Huh? What, Seto?" Skyler looked up.

"You're Herobrine's sister, yes?" I jumped to my feet, thoughts rolling through my head.

"Yep," She answered casually.

"Tell me, what do you know about Herobrine and Sky's bond?" I pressured.

"Well, as far as I know, they share a telepathic bond, however me and Herobrine have that too, so if he talks to Adam, I'll hear it too. He didn't, trust me." She said curiously.

"Okay, so not the bond..." I thought outloud.Everyone else looked incredibly confused, with the exception of Skyler. I suddenly gasped as a realization hit me.

"With the exception of when he..you know.. has he ever teleported?!" I said loudly startling everyone else.

"Huh? Oh, um, not that I can think of...no because he was in a coma,"

"So maybe the teleporting triggered some sort of...memories? Knowing Sky, he would have...blamed himself." I continued sadly.

My words were met with a worried silence.

"Do..do you think he let go on purpose?" Mitch asked.

"I..I don't know," I said.
