Rose left the den the next day. The smell of the air told her that winter would be here fast. Not that winter bothered her, as long as she had fish, she was happy. But she still prepared for harsh weather.
As she gathered brambles, ivy, thorns, and leaves, she remembered the day she had become pure werewolf and was not able to turn back.
-Flashback-
"But! How could I have killed Hayley? I wasn't even near her when she was murdered!" Rose protested.
Gabe replied "We saw your fur in her claws. Brown with red and gold? I think that matches you, and you only."
-Flashback in a flashback-
Rose was hunting for the Alpha when she heard the scream. She ran to the sound to see a wolf like her slashing at Hayley's throat. Hayley lay there pain struck, and Rose instantly knew that she was beyond saving. The wounds in her throat were deep, and not even the most skilled human doctor couldn't save her.
-End of Flashback in a flashback-
"That was a rogue!" Rose protested again.
Gabe growled and said "I sentence you to exile, and I will turn you pure werewolf. You will never harm ThunderPack again!" Rose screamed as she transformed. Before long she was pure werewolf.
-End of Flashback-
She shook out the thought as she put thick layers of thorn, bramble, leaf, and ivy to protect from thick snow. She even added sticks and twigs for extra protection. Before long, the den looked like a really large bush. No one would suspect a thing.
Rose fell asleep and woke up in ThunderPack. She whispered to no one "Why am I here?" A voice replied "I summoned you." Rose whipped around and saw Hayley walking to her. Rose stared in shock "But... you're dead! How are you here?" "I live elsewhere now. I need to tell Gabe in front of you that you are not a murderer. That darn rogue killed me, and he needs to know." Rose replied "Will you ask him to let me transform again?" Hayley nodded and prodded him awake. Gabe looked at her and then at Rose. He growled "Why is the murderer here?" Hayley smiled and said "She didn't kill me. It was a rogue. Please give her the transforming powers again." Gabe said "Alright fine." And gave her powers back. Then he said "Now get out of my sight!" and fell asleep. Hayley turned to Rose and Rose quickly said "Thank you." Hayley nodded and signaled for her to transform. Rose nodded and began turning into her human self. She looked at her jeans and light blue shirt. She looked at her thick black boots and her hair. It was long and silky, like she had just brushed it.
Rose woke up and saw her in her human self. Several blankets and a pillow were near her. She still slept on the thick moss cot, but it didn't matter. What did matter was that she had her powers back.
