Guilt

My alarm went off and I groaned loudly, hitting snooze with my left hand, since my right was constricted by the cast. Five minutes later, I repeated the process, and so on and so forth until a maid knocked on my door.

"Ma'am? Young master Takashi Morinozuka is here to drive you to school."

My eyes snapped open and I practically flew from bed, pulling on a long sleeved black and red striped shirt, white denim shorts, and knee high leather boots. After brushing through my hair and putting on makeup to hide the bruises and cuts from the imprisonment, I grabbed my stuff with my left hand and arm and barreled down the stairs, only to trip on the last step.

"Yuki!"

Strong arms wrapped around my waist, righting me as I looked up at Mori, who looked wearily amused. "Are you alright, love?"

Love...?

"F-Fine," I said quickly. He chuckled and released me, offering his arm.

A throat was cleared and we looked up to see my parents at the top of the stairs, smiling coldly down at us.

"Keep our daughter safe, Takashi-San," my father said.

"Yeah," Mori said coolly, still upset with them for not visiting me- not once- while I was in the hospital.

They hadn't even filed a missing child report on me, and we found that out from Kyoya's families police force chief. They only knew we were missing because of the club and Mori's parents.

Feeling the love.

Anyways, Mori smiled down at me as he took my bag and jacket from my arm. "Let me help you with that."

Before I could respond, he had hooked the bag over his shoulder and moved behind me, helping me try and fit my jacket on over my cast. When that failed, he shrugged off his uniform's jacket and put it on me, causing me to blush.

"Thanks Mori..." I muttered, looking at his chest and not meeting his gaze.

I heard his chuckle as he moved beside me, putting his arm around my shoulders as if my parents weren't watching like hawks. "Any time, love."

As soon as we stepped from the limo, students stopped and stared, pointing and whispering as Mori led me into Ouran by my right, his arm securely wrapped around my shoulders. Honey walked at my left side, holding my hand like a child and chatting animatedly about cake as we walked.

People stared and glared at me as Mori and Honey escorted me to our class, where the teacher hasn't appeared yet.

Mori set my stuff by my desk before he and Mitskuni took their seats, Mori in front of me and Honey to his left.

Class began, but no one was paying attention. They were all- the girls in particular- whispering quite loudly.

"They're together?!"

"No way! Mori could do so much better!"

"She doesn't deserve him!"

"I bet it's only because of the incident."

"What do you mean?"

"You haven't heard?! They were both taken captive by some nutcase and tortured!"

"What?! No way!"

"I heard Yuki used herself as a shield to protect Mori. I bet you that's why he's dating her!"

"Yeah! He probably feels like he owes her or something."

"He shouldn't, she's the reason he was even taken."

"I know right? If it weren't for her, he'd still be happy and unharmed."

It kinda sucked, because everything they were saying seemed so true. And the more I thought on it, the more likely the possibility of Mori being with me because he felt he owed me seemed. It hurt. Bad. So I just kept my eyes on my paper, fighting off guilty tears and blocking everyone else out as I became trapped in my thoughts.

I could feel Mori and Honey watching me, so I raised my hand and asked to go to the restroom before hurrying from the class as quickly as possible.

I ran through the halls as quickly as possible, and somehow found myself standing outside Music Room 3. Wiping my eyes, I opened the door to find it empty, and entered.

I looked around, wondering what I should do at that point, before spotting a large black door I'd never noticed before.

"What's this?" I muttered curiously, pushing open the doors. The room was dark, and candle lit.

Curiosity getting the best of me, I wander further into the mystery room.

"Oh, hello~," a low voice said.

Paranoid since the whole kidnapped situation, I jumped about a foot in the air and round house kicked a cloaked boy across the room. He landed with a thud, holding his cheek in pain.

"Ouch!" He cried. "I should curse you for that!"

I blinked before extending my hand to him. "Sorry, man. Instinct."

"You instinctively kick people in the face?" He grumbled as he let me pull him to his feet.

"When they suddenly appear behind me, then yes," I replied as he dusted off his cloak. "By the way, what is this place?"

His eyes seemed to shine behind his dark hair as he replied, "Ah, this is the Black Magic Club!"

"Never heard of it..." I said, sweat dropping.

"Not many have," he consented. "But if you join, you'll get a free Belzenef!"

"Belze-?" I stopped when he held up an evil looking cat doll.

Did I mention that I love cats?

Blushing slightly, I carefully took the doll from him and stared at it longingly while he awaited my answer. Then I came to my senses, and hesitantly handed Belzenef back to him.

"I can't," I said, staring at Belzenef sadly. "I'm in the Host Club..."

He tilted his head at me. "Oh?"

I nodded. "Yeah, but this Black Magic Club does sound really cool. I'm sure you'll get more members soon."

He stayed silent a while, staring at me, then...

"What's your name?" He asked suddenly.

"Yuki Akumu," I replied, extending my hand once again. "You?"

"Umehito Nekozawa." He shook my hand. "It's a pleasure."

"Same here," I grinned slightly. "Hey, listen Neko-chan, I'd love to stay, but I'm tired. So I'm gonna take a nap. But we should totally talk later, Kay?"

"... Sure..."

I grinned again before turning back and leaving the room. I heard the door close after me, but not before the soft thud of something hitting the floor by my heels.

Turning around, I saw a small Belzenef doll laying there, staring up at me. I bent down and picked it up. I looked to the door to ask if Nekozawa had dropped it, but...

The door was gone.

I stared at the clear wall a minute or so, then decided it was easiest not to question it and laid down on one of the couches, hugging Belzenef tightly as I dozed off.
